Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay here, in particular the kitchen had all the equipment and utensils needed to comfortably cook and entertain. Views out over the harbour are amazing and a quick 5 minute drive into town.

Excellent Stay

The property itself is wonderful and beyond our expectations. The location is close enough to Raglan but far enough away to feel as though we were in the county. The property manager was extremely helpful. Overall, our family had a really enjoyable stay and we look forward to returning.

Cyclone Tam no match for Byron Hill!

What a perfect place to weather a storm! Stayed here with family and friends for Te Aranga/Easter and watched the wild weather from our accommodation but were safe and sound inside. Had all seasons in a weekend, so still managed a couple of strolls along the surf beach and the estuary and also to Wairēinga/Bridal Veil Falls, as well as taking in the view from the separate deck in the garden. Great kitchen for cooking up a storm (including hot cross buns!) and easily one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Excellent.

Lovely house and excellent vacation

We loved the house. Well equipped kitchen if you are planning to cook. House has a great heating system so we did not feel cold. The view is simply stunning. Julls made the check in very smooth and was very accommodating too. Highly recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Absolutely loved it again. Fabulous house. Fantastic showers. Comfy beds. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Great place to stay for a group of six women. We will definitely be back again

Amazing!!

This property did not disappoint! Was exactly as described and perfectly suited our family group ranging from teens to elderly grandparents. The kitchen has every utensil you could ever need, and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Is in a lovely quiet location a little way out of town (not walkable), in a beautiful bush setting with incredible views! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing all round

Julls was very informative and fast to respond to any queries leading up to our stay. The view from the house was amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked up, there were a couple of items which we had forgotten to pack, but we were able to utilise some of the items in the pantry. Could not fault the whole experience. Thank you Julls for accommodating my family.

Relaxing stay

We loved our stay at Byron Hill. The house was exactly as pictured & described, clean & hosts supplied basics (tea, coffee etc). The house is large & comfy with a long deck that has sun at different times of day. The views are amazing & it was so quiet!! Will definitely return when next in Raglan.

Absolutely Fabulous!!

We had 5 nights at Byron Hill and loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful and the views sensational. It was very well equipped and lovely having all the basics provided such as tea, coffee and other essentials. We will definitley be back. Julls is a fantastic host!

Great transparent comms with manager. Property clean, well maintained and well equipped kitchen.

Property is clean and well maintained, house requires shoes left at the door which I greatly appreciate . Excellent equipped kitchen. Large enough to accommodate 2 families with sleeping areas on both sides of the house. Wonderful views. Regular night visits from an owl was interesting. Experience with Julls is wonderful, from initial queries to booking to duration of stay. Replies were prompt and information about the property upfront and transparent. There was an issue with an unconnected gas bottle during the stay resulting in no gas for showers or cooking. Julls replied to my emails almost immediately and showed up to resolve the issue within 30 mins. Would definitely recommend to others and also book this property again

Perfect

The house exceeded all our expectations. The photos don't give you the sense of how large this house is and how much room there is. It is so well stocked in terms of anything you could possible need in the kitchen. The beds are all super comfy. But the best is the amazing location. Quiet and peaceful where you can only hear the beautiful bird song. The view would have to be one of the best in all of Raglan. Julls is a great communicator and everything was super easy. Would be back in a heartbeat.

Perfect Serenity

The most comfiest beds any of us have ever slept on. House was always warm and has outstanding views of Raglan township, the harbour and the ocean. This was our second stay and the house still exceeded our expectations.
