New to VRBO! Classic cottage w/ lovely view of Lake Wpg. Steps from the water!

Welcome to Seaside Cottage! Arrive ready to relax in our in our vintage but cozy lake home located in the quiet Village of Dunnottar along the shores of Lake Winnipeg. We provide: all bedding, linens, basic paper products, soaps, shampoo, hair dryer, misc. toiletries and most everything else you will need for a comfortable stay in lake country. Seaside Cottage is a perfect place for couples. Catch up with friends by enjoying a vacation together or keep the place to yourselves for a romantic getaway!

Our apologies but the cottage is not childproof / suitable for young children. Due to allergies, we cannot allow pets. All stays are a 4 night minimum. Discount for stays of 7 nights or more.

Kitchen: There is a large fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave 4 slice toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, kettle, rice cooker and crockpot. You won't miss a dishwasher because the view out the kitchen window to the gardens is so lovely! Our well and water filtration system provides clear clean water and a good size hot water heater is housed outside adjacent to the cottage.

Living Room: This lovely room has electric heating and an air conditioner plus a freestanding fan and ceiling fan. There is a smart TV for streaming Netflix etc. Plenty of movies for the DVD player, plus games and puzzles. A Google Mini and CD player with Ipod dock for playing music.

Sunroom: Take your morning coffee and watch the sun come up over the lake in our cozy sunroom with lots of choices for seating and a dining table for 6. Plenty of books and magazines to enjoy if you ever get tired of the view! This room also has electric heating and an air conditioner.

Bedrooms: Both bedrooms include a double bed with comfortable linens and pillows. Each has a dresser, nightstand, mirror, chair, fan and place for your suitcase. Lots of hooks for hanging and a large shelf.

Bathroom: Shower, sink, toilet , lots of towels and plenty of space to store your items! Small fan and window.

Outside spaces: The large back deck overlooks our beautiful gardens and has table seating for 6. A great place to enjoy the evening meal or cocktail hour. A BBQ with propane, cooler and side table are included for your use. The firepit with seating for 6 is subject to local fire bans. The front deck includes a fire table with propane and comfy seating. Both front and deck areas have lighting at night. The night sky over the lake is absolutely amazing. View from our front deck or at the seating area at waters edge just steps from our front door.

Two bikes, various yard games and beach items included for your use.

The famous Emporium is a great dining option and there are several local beaches nearby. Winnipeg Beach is just a few minutes away by car and in addition to the fabulous beach, it offers great grocery and dining options, a driving range as well as a coin laundry. Weekends sees local bands on the bandstand. A selection of great golf courses are nearby in Sandy Hook, Tuelon or Gimli.
