Whitianga is an ideal place to plan a getaway with the ocean at its front door and hills and bush, bring the family and explore. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place is a 3 minute walk to the ocean and an ideal home base for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula.

Free wifi, heat pump, spacious living area, large full kitchen, outdoor patio area, ample parking, there is a space for everyone, whether you are holidaying with the family or taking a group away for a fishing trip or spa weekend at the natural hot spring resort Lost Springs, or a combination of it all.

The Hideaway is 1 of 2 units on the property. You will be staying in the front unit. The shared driveway leads to your reserved private off-road parking space and you’ll have ample accessible public off-road parking for your group.

3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, pet friendly.
The first bedroom has a Queen bed, with Ensuite and a second tv.
The second bedroom has a King bed and the third bedroom has a Single bed.

There is also a very comfortable fold out couch which may be available for an extra guest.

Whitianga township, just a 3 minute drive away, has all the conveniences you'll need: restaurants, cafes, bars, petrol, groceries, cinema and shopping.
Just 3 minutes walk to the beach everything you need is close and yet you are away from the hustle of town.
Boat ramp is just 3 minute drive and the Lost Springs resort is a one minute drive away.
Everything you need is close, while still being away from the full bustle of town.

Guests have privacy for their stay, we typically do not meet or visit the guests during the bookings.
However we are available to call or text at any time if you have questions!

Quality Linen Hire is included with your booking, providing sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, face cloths and tea towels.

However, we do ask that the home is left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition,
> the bbq if used is to be left clean;
> dishes to be cleaned and put away;
> rubbish and recycling needs to be taken or sorted into the recyvling systems as described in house manual**

Pets are welcome! - but please dry them off before they are let inside.
Pets to please be kept off the furniture. Please let us know about your intention to bring a pet as fees may apply.

Things we need you to know with before your stay:

KEY LOCATIONS & DIRECTIONS:
These will be sent to you by email within 7 days of your arrival.

ARRIVAL TIMES:
From 3pm onwards on the first day of your booking, the home will be available for you. If you would like to arrive earlier, please enquire.

DEPARTURE TIMES:
You will need to depart the home by 10am at the latest.
Failure to depart on time may incur additional fees.
If you would like to arrange a late departure, please enquire.

LINEN:
A linen fee has been included in your booking, which is a part of your cleaning fee. This provides good quality sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels, face clothes and tea towels for your stay.
This will be supplied at our discretion, two adults to a double bed, unless otherwise requested by you at least 7 days prior to your arrival date.

PETS!
Please inquire. Let us know of your intention to bring the furry family members. A pet fee of $65 per pet per stay will apply.
Pets are not permitted in the furniture (beds or couches) and please respect the home and wash and dry pets before bringing them inside.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS:
If you have extra guests you would like to stay and there is room in the home for them, please let us know. Extra guest fees will apply.

DEPARTURE CLEANS:
You can relax! as a departure clean fee is included in your booking. However, please note you are still responsible for a few things before you leave:
In General - please leave the home in a reasonably clean & tidy condition.
If you've moved furniture about, please put it back the way it was when you arrived.
The BBQ - You would have found this clean for your use, please leave it in the same condition when you go.
Your dishes - please make sure they are washed and put away.
The Oven - if you use it, please make sure it is in the same condition as when you arrived.
Your Rubbish and Recycling - you need to take all this with you.

If we need to look after any of these details for you, any additional cleaning costs will be deducted from your bond.

BOND:
A bond of $250 will be held as security for each stay.
After your departure, the property will be inspected to make sure the home has been left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition, that the dishes, rubbish, oven and bbq have been left as they were found, and that there is no damage to the property. Any additional costs related to your booking will be communicated to you and may be deducted from your bond.

NOISE:
You will be staying in a residential area so it is expected you would be respectful of all your neighbours during your stay. Please keep noise to a reasonable level between 11.30pm and 6am.
We hope for the best from our neighbours in return, however, we take no responsibility for their actions. If you are experiencing excessive noise from your neighbours during your stay, we would appreciate knowing about this, however for immediate action, we recommend contacting local authorities to take action.

CANCELLATIONS:
Travelers who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

COVID CANCELLATIONS:
My guarantee that should you need to cancel your booking due to COVID-19 ALert level 3 or 4 travel restrictions, we will provide a Full refund for your booking.
If your holiday is interrupted by changes in Covid-19 alert levels, then we will refund you for the nights you have not been able to enjoy or will rebook the remaining nights for a future date to an equal value.
