Great home away from home

We rented in Lucas KY to meet up with family. With all of us in different states, this house gave us the freedom of having our own floor while still being with everyone in one place. The caves and Kentucky Downunder were a great way to spend our days. Coffee on the back deck and a candle fire in the fireplace made for a cozy, family friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful trip to see caves

This is a very nice property with a lot of room for larger groups. Kitchen is nicely equipped and beds were very comfortable

A joy!

So nice and clean, peaceful. It's very close to Barren Lake State Park, and Mammoth Cave. And a reasonable distance from the corvette museumUPPER FLOOR: two upstairs bedrooms with queen beds, one has a regular size closet, and the far bedroom has 2 long closets. The two queen rooms share a hall shower. On this floor there's a "L shape" hallway to a locked door, which has the stair railing on one side. It might be possible to put a single air bed there, but since there a gap under the rail of maybe 5 inches, it might be good get one that has some loft .MIDDLE FLOOR: (level with the drive and where the outside wood ramp leads), large king bedroom a single couch bed, a hall shower, kitchen, living room with soaring wood ceiling, dining room, and outside deck and grill which faces the woods. LOWER FLOOR: a living room with a ping pong table, a couch, 4 High top chairs, and French doors exiting to a covered deck, looking at woods.. There are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a full bed, and the 2nd bedroom has 3 beds (1 single bed standing alone,, and one bunk bed with a single bed on top,, and a full on bottom.. Additionally on the lower floor is a laundry room, and a bathtub shower combo,,We had 9 adults, 2 infants, and a 2 year old. We only put one person in the lower floor bunk bed room, and added a queen blow up bed to the lower level living room. We had plenty of space.*If anything I described differers from the website, then the website is correct.

Great Property

Property was excellent and was exactly what we needed. It had enough space and room for everyone in our large family. The host was very responsive. It is in a nice quiet spot but also not too far of a drive to the places we were there to visit.

70th Birthday Family Gathering

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family of 14. Justin was very quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. The house was clean and kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and would recommend it to anyone. We would definitely stay againanyone

Bikers Dream

As a group of motorcyclists, we have stayed at numerous VRBO’s, some good most excellent, this one ranks high. As a jumping off point for riding routes this was ideal! Lots of nice roads with many sights to see. This house was exceptionally well stocked with all the utensils needed to prepare meals after a ride. It was well equipped with bed options and everyone in our group had their own Bedroom and bathrooms that made it easy to get ready and ride early.Theonly issue that we had was with two of the three TV’s but contact with the owner was great. Would highly recommend this property for families and motorcyclists, plenty of parking.
