We had a problem checking in, which was bad in our circumstances (late rainy night with kids) but this was resolved the following day, and we were later refunded for that first night that we spent in a nearby hotel. The owner seemed genuinely sorry for that.
The building is very old and stairwell looks bad, but the apartment itself is very nice, completely renovated, with king size bed in the bedroom and queen size murphy bed and sofa bed in the large living room. No street view from the windows, they are facing inside courtyard of the building, but sufficient natural light.
Third floor, no elevator, so be mindful if this is a problem for you. No A/C, only a fan. We were lucky with weather that it wasn't hot, but I can see how this could bother some people.
The location is superb, and seems very safe.
