The family needed a break from being online. Luckily, the kids get âPresidents/Ski Weekâ off and this place was free the two nights we neededâwe were able to head up when most people would be heading home. Even if it were busier for us, having this place to stay would have made the getaway worth it. It looks nice in the pics, but even better in person.
Booking was easy and Brandon was communicative. There was a minor tech glitch our first morning, and I was able to get on the phone with him to resolve the issue quickly. It is a condo within a pretty large complex, but you donât feel it. Itâs quiet and the owner did a great job with the interior and amenitiesâitâs like a modern winter cabin. Thereâs plenty of space inside, giving us room to further escape from one another. Need a TV....? Each room has a large one plus another in the living room! Those were awesome so the kiddos could keep busy while I tended to some work (boo). Still, I did have a quiet place on my own with solid light and connectivityâdidnât even need a virtual background since the place looks great :) Even though we all enjoyed having room to spread out, we still loved gathering for meals around the large kitchen island and crowding on the couch for a couple movie nights.
Itâs very close to Diamondpeak, so getting a day of snowboarding in was pretty easy. Itâs a great resort for kids to learn and practiceâand conditions were still decent from the snow drop a couple days earlier. It was a relief to know the drive back after a long day would just be a few minutes. We were able to wash/dry our things in one of the on-site laundry rooms (bring quarters), and they were all set for sledding on our way back home the next day.
We will definitely be booking againâbig thumbs up from all of us!
