Charming Chalet-minutes from hiking, skiing and Storyland! Great for Families!

3 Bedroom Charming Chalet on Christmas Mountain in Bartlett NH.! (Please note we do not rent from Craigslist!)

We are located just past Storyland off of Route 16 in a quiet little neighborhood up in Linderhof. We are surrounded by a lot of trees so there is privacy and your neighbors aren't too close. We are centrally located to any activity your hearts desire! Skiing, hiking, leaf peeping, trains, shopping, eating, drinking, amusement parks, swimming - you name it, we have it near us!

The bottom floor has 3 bedrooms, laundry and a full bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms each have a queen sized bed while one has a twin over full bunk bed with an additional twin trundle that can be pulled out.

The main floor is a large open room with kitchen, dining area, living room, fireplace and pinball machine! There are also 2 decks off of the upstairs, one with a grill and one with a great view of the stars at night. It's a great hangout area for the whole family.

The loft has an additional TV with video game systems, a queen sized futon that can be used for additional sleeping and a Foosball table. Great space for the kids!

We love our chalet and have put a lot of thought and effort into making it the ideal space for your family vacation. We've also been visiting the area for over 40 years so we can certainly help with recommendations and planning to ensure that you get the most out of your stay with us!

Perfect location close to Storyland, Diana’s Baths & North Conway for our trip with two families and a dog. Super cozy house with lots of thoughtful little amenities and everything we needed for a weekend, including to cook dinner. The 11 year olds loved the game loft and the pinball machine! Really helpful and responsive hosts. We can’t wait to come back!

Family vacation.

We love staying here the children and adults love all the games and very close to storyland.We were a little disappointed with the up-keep, the porches we had to sweep and clean table, we bought ant traps and batteries for Loft TV remote. We did have a fantastic time and the cousins really bonded.

Once again (3rd year in a row) we had a fantastic time and had zero complaints. Wood burning insert and the loft are always highlights for the kids and location is perfect and quiet. Will be back again !

The house was extremely clean. Very well appointed and definitely pet friendly! The kitchen had every pot or pan necessary to make any meal - we made an over stuffer and there was even a roasting pan! The only thing missing was a can opener, luckily we had one.the hosts also provide an assortment of coffee and a very easy to use coffee maker The chalet was extremely pet-friendly! There were multiple dog beds available, products to clean up dog accidents under every sink and extra poo bags for walks. The area where the chalet is located is great for hill walking on the street and we were able to take our dogs for long walks to wear them out.We were traveling with a 12 year old who was thrilled to have her own space in loft, but still be close enough by that she was part of the conversation. She also found a new joy on becoming a pinwheel wizard!The location of the chalet is fantastic! We didn't visit North Conway, but easily could've. We spent an afternoon in Jackson, enjoying the fall decorations. We also booked tickets (AHEAD OF TIME - HIGHLY RECOMMEND) at Cannon Mountain 's Adventure Park for an afternoon of mountain coaster rides, scenic chairlift rides and the soaring eagle Zipline!

Great property

Family thoroughly enjoyed this house. Best stocked kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed at! Very clean and as advertised. Bedrooms were a little warm for sleeping; air conditioning kept upper level nice and cool. Ryan the property manager was fantastic and owners were responsive prior to arrival. Definitely recommend!!

Cozy get-away for the holidays

We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage in NH's White Mountains. It had all the comforts of home (including pretty holiday lights and decorations). The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Close to hiking, shopping and restaurants, there is plenty to do in the area but it was nice to unwind after the days' adventures by the fire too!

We had a fantastic time at Julian's home. It was an absolute delight for both us and the kids. Having a pinball machine was an excellent choice after a long hike. The kids had fun with the Nintendo and PlayStation. The location was great, and the neighborhood was nice. Bed out of 10 is 8.

Perfect weekend get-away

From the holiday lights to the welcoming doughnuts, it was easy to just show up and relax without any hassles. House is clean as can be with all the necessities. Cocktail ice balls in the freezer is a nice touch. Comfortable beds and furniture. My kids love the pinball and gaming loft. Convenient to all the local ski areas and aprĂšs pubs (Red Parka our favorite). Grants market just a mile away for anything you may have forgotten or didn't want to pack.

Perfect house!

Everything was just as described and the house is very dog friendly. But yet so clean you wouldn’t know dogs had been there. The mix of games was perfect for our varied adult age groups, and everyone was entertained and would have been fine if snowed in. The neighborhood was wonderful to walk the dogs in. Such wonderful touches, with the white lights on for arrival, and Pura Vida! Thank you for sharing your home!

Beautiful and Charming

We had the best weekend at this beautiful chalet! It was immaculate and furnished and decorated so lovely. Our children had the best time playing the various gaming systems, that included an actually full size pinball machine, and hanging out in the loft. We had to drag them out of the house to go skiing! Our dog was also very at home with the beautiful dog beds throughout the home! Very comfortable for two families looking to get away! We would love to have the opportunity to stay there again someday!

Excellent stay close to Storyland!

Excellent stay!! We really enjoyed our time in New Hampshire. The house was perfect for our family, it gave us plenty to do when we had a few days of inclement weather- the kids loved the video games, pinball machine and loft! Great location, we were so close to storyland it took just a few minutes to get there. We also took a day to drive up to Santas Village, hiking, visiting jackson falls, mini golf, great restaurants...I could go on and on. The owners communicated all the pertinent details in a timely manner and were very thoughtful in all their emails. Can't recommend them enough! We will definitely look to stay again in the future. Thank you!

Perfect!

We were so delighted to see the home welcoming us with tasteful Christmas flare! The wood stove drew us in and even though the weather did not cooperate-we had an amazing time! The house was so inviting that you didn’t feel guilty if you didn’t leave! I’m a pinball lover, and that was a fabulous perk! The home was tastefully stocked. No junk but super helpful essentials! Was super excited about the insta pot! Love that for a quick throw together meal! Location was great! Close to many things. We enjoyed beautiful morning walks and outings all around the region. Simply the Best!!!

T & J's chalet could not be a more perfect place to stay! I rented the chalet for a long weekend where my sister and I surprised our mom for her 60th birthday. It was the best trip!!! We had such a personalized and touching welcome package waiting for us when we arrived at the chalet (that was clearly no small feat in putting together). It was beyond perfect and amazing. We loved our nights in the chalet playing pinball while also being in a convenient location to bop into North Conway to shop on the strip or head over to do some hiking at Diana's Baths. The chalet had absolutely everything we needed and felt like coming "home" whenever we returned from our daily adventures. Thank you Terri and Julian for helping our family make incredible memories that we'll have forever. You guys and your chalet rock!

Great chalet rental on Christmas Mountain

This is a lovely rental with owners who obviously love and care for the property. It is well maintained and very clean. Owners were very easy to reach and communicate with. The chalet has a beautiful stone fireplace with a very efficient insert and lots of provided fire wood. We had rain nearly the entire weekend but enjoyed spending lots of family time in this cozy chalet, sitting by the fire and enjoying each other as well as all the board games, video games and excellent take out meals we got from nearby restaurants. The pinball machine was so much fun too. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. The chalet had lots of little extras like snacks, spices and just about anything we forgot to bring. Christmas Mountain is a great spot to stay. It’s beautiful and quiet but only minutes away from all the area has to offer. We would certainly consider returning. (My only suggestion is to consider a gate for the top of the stairs leading to the lower level. We made our own little barricade having an active toddler with us! It did the trick! Not a problem but something to think about!) Thank you Julian and family for a wonderful stay. An escape to the mountain was just what we needed!!

Ski weekend

The house was so cozy and clean! The furniture was comfy and I loved the decor. My son and friend enjoyed the pinball and foos ball. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of and there was lots of coffee choices. The location was awesome. The hosts were great. They provided us with tons of info about things to do in the area and we were welcomed with some sparkling wine and cider donuts! I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Our permanent residence is in Waltham, MA but we have always used the White Mountains as one of our favorite locations to escape the real world and get away. We love to travel. We love to explore. We love nature. We love to eat great food! And we love to do it all with our dog at our side whenever possible! I've been coming up to the White Mountains my entire life and we are so excited to finally own a property up here that we can use as a second home and share with guests who love the area as much as we do (even if they don't know it yet!).

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We wanted a house with some of that great mountain charm, in a location that is convenient to all of the things we love to do in the Valley. This house fit the bill perfectly. We immediately fell in love with the one big great room on the main floor and the loft. We loved all of the windows and the natural light that comes in. And we loved the woods to the side and the fact that it is set back a bit from the street so you get some privacy.

The location was exactly what we wanted. Bartlett is the perfect location because it is still extremely accessible to North Conway but it is on the other side of Main Street so during those busy busy seasons, you can get to most of the desirable locations without touching the main strip in N.Conway - which was critical to us! We don't like traffic. 😊 We DO love to hike however and our location gives us easy access to the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, Crawford Notch and Pinkham Notch.

We also fell in love with Christmas Mountain. All of the chalet style houses. The Clubhouse. The quiet neighborhood. The views of Mount Washington when you walk around the neighborhood. It just felt like home to us while also feeling like a true escape. Hopefully it will feel the same to you also!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our chalet provides a lot of the mountain charm that we feel is important when you are going on vacation up in the Washington Valley. It has a stone fireplace in the living room with a brand new fireplace insert (and tons of wood provided! we know - we stacked it all ourselves!). It has vaulted wood ceilings with beautiful beams, tons of big windows and natural light, a fantastic open room for everyone to hang out and a great loft space for the kids. And a pinball machine! But we added that ourselves. 😊 The access to the Clubhouse at Christmas Mountain completes our chalet experience. It's fantastic having access to all of the amenities around the corner from the chalet where we can go swim, soak or play.
