Welcome to the Country Nest, the ideal vacation home from which to enjoy all that Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has to offer, including nearby Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg, New Holland, Sight and Sound, the Outlets, Dutch Wonderland, Spooky Nook Sports, downtown Lancaster and more! Set in the idyllic town of Intercourse, this warm, spacious vacation rental has plenty of room for large groups and families. Find the freedom and space you need to make your get-away a great one.
You'll find all the comforts of home at the Country Nest! The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal for the whole family. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. There is a sitting room right inside the door, as well as a large living room to fit the whole group, equipped with a large TV (Netflix included )Games and puzzles are provided for a relaxing night in. The front porch is a great place to relax with a cup of joe and watch horse-and-buggies trot by. The small, private backyard allows space for outside activities, fire pit and gas grill available for use.

Great Stay

This great property met all of our needs, from pet accommodations to first-floor rooms with perfect access for the senior members of our party. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and comfortable stay in the heart of Amish country

Perfect place for a quick family getaway to Amish country. We were able to see and do so much during our short stay because of the convenient location and comfortable stay. Juanita also connected us to a blacksmith that did a wonderful demonstration in his shop.

Relaxing and Great Location

Sadly we were there for a funeral , but the house was perfect. Nice yard, big rooms and I was in love with the decor. Don’t pass this house up if you’re traveling or on vacation!

It was a very nice property

We really enjoyed staying at the country nest. The kids liked watching the horse and buggies go by and my wife and i were happy with the cleanliness of the house . Check in and checkout was easy.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

The house was spacious, clean, and had adorable decor and lots of nice little added comforts, like a coffee nook, snack gift basket, flatscreen TV in the bedroom, and a beautiful walk-in shower with a stone bench.

Enjoyed our stay

Great vacation at the Country Nest! Super convenient to shopping and restaurants. The only downside would be the road noise, but we didn’t let that bother us. Loved seeing the Amish buggies go by. Will hopefully be back.

Great Girls Weekend!

My daughter's volleyball team had a tournament at Spooky Nook, we rented this house for a mother-daughter weekend. There were 7 of us, we had such a great time. The house was perfect!!

Weekend Getaway in Dutch Country

We walked into town, did some shopping, cooked dinners, visited Pa RR Museum, relaxed and spent time with good friends. Comfy home and great location! We’ll be back.

Wonderful!

House was great. Excellent location. My parents enjoyed sitting on porch watching horse and buggies going past. Had a meal with a local family and it was excellent. Parents and us making plans for another stay next year. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent place

Very well decorated and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook. There were 7 of us there and we were very pleased with the seating spaces. We had dinner with an Amish family and that was so special!! Thank you for everything and we hope to stay there again.

Beautiful town and lovely home

Our bowling team was in PA for a national high school bowling tournament. Our VRBO, was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a safe little town. Our host went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay. The fire pit in the back yard was perfect for a night of s’mores, chasing fireflies, and laughing: I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely VRBO in Intercourse, PA.

Nursing reunion

This “ nest” was perfect for our large group (8-10) of 75 year old nurses! Comfortable throughout. Plenty of room and easy access to attractions and the beautiful countryside. Juana was an excellent communicator!

Bunco Girls Getaway Weekend

The Nest was a big, cozy house for all of us to spread out, be comfortable yet come together at the long dining room table. We put several extra leaves in it! We could walk to Kitchen Kettle Village and easily drive to Millers Smorgasbord and Sight and Sound Theater. We were blessed with beautiful weather all weekend too!

Multi-generational girl trip

We came up to the area for a variety of activities- Sight and Sound show, outlet shopping, and fabric shopping at the quilt shops. This house is in our favorite area, and just far enough off Rt 340 to mitigate some of the road noise at night. The house itself has been thoughtfully furnished and was very clean (and I’m very picky about that). There was plenty of room for us to gather in the living room but also enough bedrooms to have our own spaces. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area next.

Great stay

Owner is very responsive and kind. Home is as described with a lot of special touches. Clean, well stocked. Welcome gifts. Fire pit is great. Family, ages 19-83 from across the US enjoyed our stay! Location is convenient to walk to many restaurants and Kitchen Kettle village that has over 30 shops!! Lots to do in the area. Amish dinner through owner is a must! Eggs from eggs were nice touch. Great experience. Would stay again!!
