Pleasant and Enjoyable

Very nice place to stay. House had plenty of room for family to spread out and enjoy being with each other. Lots of fun was had. Bedrooms are spacious. Beds were comfortable. House was clean and stocked with most everything you would need for your stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Clean and comfortable

Was a great base of operations for a Girls Weekend 60th birthday celebration. Spacious, well appointed and very clean. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do.Be aware that the road is very busy, hence noisy if you like open windows. Also, if you all love to cook, as we do, there is no automatic dishwasher. We had a wonderful time and all agreed we would do it again. Many thanks

Couples get away

The 6 of us travel together. This was perfect for our stay in Lancaster. We will definitely go back. The house was very very clean and well furnished. Plenty of room for all of us both in the living room and dining area. Very spacious kitchen. Bedrooms were great and comfortable.

Wonderful!

This home was immaculate, the beds were super comfortable, and the neighborhood was pleasant with lots of horses and buggies going by! It was also close to many attractions. Rebecca was a great hostess who answered questions promptly. Our family had a delightful stay. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation!

Quilting Getaway

Always a treat to stay here! Clean, open spacious home with warm inviting decor! We enjoy mornings on the porch and evenings walking out back! Close to so many shops and restaurants, it is a MUST to stay here every time we visit! CT quilters!

Stay in Intercourse

The house is beautiful. House is located right outside of downtown Intercourse.The surrounding farmlands are breathtaking!! Getting to sit out on the porch & hearing & seeing the Amish pass by within their horse drawn buggies will bring a smile to your face.

A Little piece of Heaven

JMJ We enjoyed our stay here with all our children. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the clean home with lots of space. It was a delight to be away from the noise and business of the tourist area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the Amish buggies pass by or the smell of the morning in the country.

Couldn’t have been better!

Five of us - college friends in our mid 60s - rented this lovely home for 3 nights. It’s a beautiful house with large rooms, comfortable furniture, plenty of towels and linens, and a well-stocked kitchen. Everything was immaculate. The only issue we had was a chirping smoke alarm that needed a new battery. It was fixed within half an hour of calling the owner! We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and relaxing at the end of the day in the cozy living room. If we return to Lancaster County we would definitely want to stay here again.

We found this house so spacious and bright! We loved that it was right there in the heart of things.

I always like to leave a house cleaner than we found it. With this house, it was so clean, that it was impossible! We came with a family of 11, plus a baby. There was plenty of room for all. We loved the front porch, where we were able to watch many many horse and buggies go by. This house is very close to many of the Amish attractions and right in the middle of the Farmlands. There are pleasant Amish neighbors across the street that added to our experience. Rebecca, the owner, is so nice to work with! She was always full of good cheer throughout our communications. We just loved this house and it very much enhanced our vacation. It really gives off a sense of calm and peacefulness. We relooked at Home Away to see if any other house compares to this one, it doesn't! We would love to come back and stay here again. You can't go wrong!

Enjoyed the home away from home. The spaces were ideal for four adults. The side porch was comfortable and ideal for watching the Amish buggies going down the road. This location is about 15 minutes to Sight and Sound. Use GPS to get around and drive through the farmlands.

We come to Lancaster County every fall for the Sight and Sound Theater. This home was our favorite of the many we have rented. It is very spacious and very clean. And, the location is perfect for sightseeing and restaurants. The horse & buggies going past were an added bonus! We highly recommend.
