Casa Voltaire Vacation Rental

Stunning desert escape in the center of Scottsdale. This property features a resort-like backyard with a stunning desert landscape. The private pool is a backyard oasis complete with a built-in gas grill, large patio table, spa, outdoor firepit, and comfortable lounge chairs. The 4 bedrooms all have plush mattresses and contemporary bedding. Bedroom configurations are king, queen, queen, and two twins. Every modern convenience is at your fingertips, with wi-fi and cable. This home has plenty of entertainment for the whole family including a pool table and board games. Located 20 min from the airport in the heart of trendy North Scottsdale. You are only 10 minutes or so from annual events including FBR/Phoenix Open, and Barret-Jackson Auto Auction. As well as a short drive to Salt River Spring Training Complex, and Fiesta Bowl. The home is surrounded by tons of activities such as local world-class golf courses hiking trails, and the amusement park Crackerjacks!

Quiet hours are enforced from 9 pm - 9 am.
Pool Heat - $150 per day *Need 48-hour advanced notice. Note once a guest is checked into the property we may not be able to turn on the pool heater or heat to desired temperatures, your planning is key.
Pool and landscape vendors access the home once per week and have access to the backyard. Pool service is every Thursday. Service days have the possibility of changing and do occur up to two times a week.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.

For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.

Important Note: We want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest, Please be aware amenities may break or not work during your stay and we'll do our best to accommodate you. May an amenity not work or fail during your stay we will do our best to make it right, and we can refund up to 10% of the affected nights to make it right. Disapointed- Not at all like the photos

The marketing photos on VRBO made the property look very nice. In reality the house was dated, had a broken window taped up, broken blinds, dirty curtains. the kitchen was filked with old random utensils. There is a brand new oven and fridge. The pool was unusable because it was freezing and they wanted and extra 150 a day to heat it. They did do a nice job buying new beds and linen and a large tv. This place needs a complete remodel. the price charged per night was way out of line for a house in this shape.

Amazing little oasis in Arizona

The properties backyard is a vacation dream. The teenagers loved the pool, all the areas that they could take photos, was a great for outdoor dining.

Everything was as described. Check in was easy and the property was close enough to everything we wanted to do. The home in general was a little outdated and could probably use some renovating. But overall, good enough

Excellent property!

We cannot say enough about this property! I loved it! The house was huge, and very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the bath towels were thick and soft, the pool was refreshing and water temperature was perfect, the location was very private and quiet. Relatively close to everything - it took us about 20 minutes to drive to most places we wanted to go to, which was fine. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just a couple of small things - we had to buy some basics that other VRBO rentals have provided - e.g., foil, saran wrap, salt, pepper, coffee filters, and we were only there for 5 days - but we left them behind for the next guest. Next time I’d bring them with me. But they had paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, so that was great! Air conditioning was great but it was super hot & the extra fans in the master bedroom closet that we tried to use, didn’t work. The pool area has a few broken tiles so we had to be careful not to step on them with bare feet, and there is no hand rail to hold on to getting in and out of the pool, so for an overweight, very arthritic elderly person like me, it was extremely difficult getting in and out of the pool. I had to have someone help me in and out each time. I hope they’d consider putting a hand rail at the top of the cement steps to assist people getting in and out. The steps are deep and I needed help. All that being said - I still loved the property and would definitely return in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay!

The house is as shown. Plenty of space for everyone. Kids had fun playing pool and in the pool. Great location. Only complaint was the oven. We tried to cook frozen pizza snd after 40 mins was cooked enough. Even tried broiler and that did not work well.

Perfect for a week long stay in AZ

This place was great! Only some minor issues, the primary bathroom set up was not great, the vanity was open to the sleeping area so you could see and hear everything if one person was getting ready and the other was sleeping. All the beds have foots on them so if you're over 6'4" (like me) it was hard to fit in the bed without hitting your feet. The pool and outside area was great!

Great Home, great location

We truly enjoyed our stay (4 guys on week long golf trip). This Scottsdale home had it all....4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, 2 large TVs, a pool, hot tub and an 8 ft pool table. The home itself was located in a quiet neighborhood, with shopping and excellent restaurants within a 5 minute drive. After spending the day on a golf course, it sure was nice to spend time on the shaded backyard patio. When we come back to Scottsdale this home will be at the top of our list.

The Pool!

Golf getaway

The home was clean with a well- supplied kitchen for cooking. Hot tub a plus in the cool evenings. Checking in and checkout were simple. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this home.

Great stay at Casa Voltaire

Casa Voltaire is a wonderful older desert home with a fabulous back yard. Our family of 4 stayed for a week in November/22 and had a great time. We were very comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities the house and yard had to offer.

Excellent location

The property is such an excellent location- under 30 mins from airport, literally 15 minutes or less to Old Town, and nearly every tourist site in Scottsdale. Great restaurants & shopping minutes away. The home was fine, but a little dated. Was well equipped with Washer/dryer, kitchenware, but it was the outdoor space that was really great. The pool, hot tub, grill, patio furniture was all very well used.

House is beautiful!! Brand new plush towels for the house and pool. Shampoo conditioner soap tissues toilet paper paper towels. Fully stocked house. Bedrooms have beautiful white cotton linens Outdoor living space makes for such a perfect vacation setting. Enjoy outdoor dining and living space. Pool and jacuzzi are delightful !! Overall Okay Experience

Renting this property was an overall okay experience. In the master bedroom there was stains on the bedding , however from past experience in different trips, I now always bring sheets and bedding just in case. The carpets in the bedrooms are old and somewhat worn. The lock on the main bathroom in the hallway didn’t work, so people would get locked in. Also during our stay a landscape company came to replace some plants. Normally I wouldn’t have minded as it only took a couple of hours, but it was during the time my family was supposed to be together and watch my son’s virtual graduation. The owner of the property said it had to be done that day sometime and wouldn’t reschedule. Due to Covid restrictions, I would have thought that the planning of this project could have been scheduled in between having guests at the residence. The pool and yard were amazing and that is where we spent the majority of our time. Overall the accommodations were okay, and my family made the best of it, however, I don’t think I would rent this residence again in the future.
