Year 2 in the books and it was great!

This was the 2nd year renting this property and we love this house and host! The house was clean, is 5 min walk to beach, market, Sunset Slush and shops. Host is always very responsive and helpful! We had such a great time!

Great house walking distance to beach!

We had a wonderful stay! House was clean and kitchen well stocked; bathrooms were clean. Nice outdoor seating area both on porch and below house. Easy 10 min walk to beach, market and shops. Susan was wonderful to work with and very responsive.

First time in Sunset Beach

The location was close to the beach and shopping area. House needs updated and it needed a good cleaning.

Great vacation

This was our second time staying at this house. The owners take great care of the home, it was clean both times we’ve stayed here, great location, and so much is provided which makes everything so convenient. All the shops and the pier are a short walk away so there’s lots to do in addition to the ocean. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent location, clean beach get away!

This house was clean, comfy and located close walk to beach, Main Street and bridge. Had most of what you could need while away with the family for a week or long weekend. Recently upgraded kitchen appliances and countertops. Bring beach towels and extra blankets but otherwise you will have everything you need for alwrfwvt stay!

Home away from home

We had another wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend. Perfect for boys who like WiFi and to walk to get a daily snow cone or ice cream. I read 4 books either on the porch or while gazing at the stars on the upper deck. I call that perfection!

Perfect Beach Vacation!!

Me and my husband and another couple just returned home from a fantastic vacation at this beautiful home. I can honestly say that the information and pictures displayed are very accurate, but seeing everything in person was even better. First of all, the owner couldn't have been more easy to work with and answered all questions very quickly. The home is in a very peaceful neighborhood right across from the beach - a very short walk. It has everything you will need for your time there and plenty of room. It would have very comfortably accomodated two more couples, or children. We loved the decks and especially enjoyed time in the rockers reading a book or dining outside. The large screen tv was also a big hit. A bonus was all of the beach chairs, bikes, etc. that were there for our use. It's a great area for a refreshing bike ride. It was our first time at Sunset Beach and we loved the fact that it was such a family oriented and peaceful location, yet only 30 minutes to more action if you choose to venture out to Myrtle Beach. We truly look forward to staying here again! Thanks so much Dean and family for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful home for our beach vacation!!!

Memorial Day 2022

This was our first time in Sunset Beach and it was great. We loved the house and the convenient location of everything. My nieces 5 and 3 had a blast and I think we found our new beach to continue our Memorial Day beach tradition. 5 stars.

Close to the beach

This house was super close to the beach and provided us with needed beach equipment like chairs, a beach wagon, umbrella, and toys/sand castle toys/boogie boards. So great location.

Home away from home

Property was spacious, high end appliances, had everything we needed. Loved the front porch with rockers and the family entertainment underneath the house. Location was great.

Beach Happiness

The house is great, clean and so close to the beach it was perfect. We were disappointed that the photos on this ad are old. The Widow's walk has been completely removed, which was part of our reason for selecting this house. Also the back area no longer has a marsh area, but 4 new homes with pools that back up to the property. Otherwise it was great, all our children got their own rooms, and we were so close to the beach.

We had an amazing time. The place was perfect for a our friend group. Susan was the absolute best host I’ve encountered. Beach access is less than a 5 minute stroll. Same for the shops. We can’t wait for our next stay.

Excellent Family Getaway

Excellent family getaway! I really can’t say anything bad about our stay. House is 1 block from the beach entrance, complete with all furnishings to make you feel like you are at home. Definitely can’t wait to come back.

Great location!!

This house was only a short walk to the beach. There was lots of outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. The kitchen was stocked with lots of pots and pans. The oven/stove cooked great! We cooked almost every meal at the house so having good pots, pans and adequate tools for cooking was important to us. The beds were comfortable. The sheets/blankets were clean and placed on each bed. The living room furniture needs updating, if wasn’t comfortable to sit on. Overall, this was a great house! FYI, if you’re going there now or in the next month you will get eaten alive by mosquitos. There’s no amount of bug spray or citronella candles that will save you!

Much needed rest!

This property is conveniently located withing walking distance to the pier and local shops. This is the first place we've ever stayed that we saw NO bugs inside the house!
