Casa Jacinta is charming and unique , and set in a lovely garden . It is quiet and private . We read in the shade of the palapa on the patio , and toasted the sunsets "up on the roof" . It is very comfortable , and suited us well for a long stay . We love the climate , which is part of the reason we came . We got to know the town , and enjoyed it very much . We shopped locally , "Que Rico" , the fish store, the wine shop , the farm stand , the organic farm ,and the Superette for basics . Our favourite restaurants are Cleos , around the corner , La Esquina , on the way to town (market there on Wednesday) , Caffe Todos Santos , Landi's , La Casita, Los Adobes , Alma and Manny's for the best cheap eats , and the very special , El Mirador , with the fantastic view , a real must , if even just for a drink .
We ventured to El Triunfo , a historic charming mountain village , and had lunch at Bar El Minero , which has authentic Paella on Sunday's , cooked over a fire on the patio . We walked the waterfront in La Paz, which is lovely .
Playa Punta Lobos is interesting as the Fishermen come in in their Pangas ,and sell their catch on the beach . Playa Los Cerritos is beautiful , and great fun to watch the surfers . Plays Las Palmas sounds lovely , but we did not venture down that road . Which brings me to the strong recommendation to get a vehicle with good clearance . We had a few close calls with. VW
Jetta !
Hasta La Vista , Casa Jacinta , it has been a great pleasure .
