Enjoy your stay at our cozy brick ranch in the country! Our home is located on a quiet country road situated on a half acre with lots of shade in the front yard or full sun in the back yard. We are setup perfectly for one or two couples or a small family.
The master bedroom has a roomy king sized bed, the 2nd bedroom has a comfy queen, and the 3rd bedroom has a twin over twin bunk bed set that is perfect for the kids! (Please note the bunkbeds are not for adults and there is a max weight limit of 100lbs for the top bunk) All 3 bedrooms have closet space available and they share a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is another bathroom with a shower and laundry room off the kitchen. Plenty of clean towels are included.
The kitchen is well-stocked for all of your basic cooking needs and includes a Keurig for your morning coffee on the back deck!
The living room has a 46in HD TV with internet access through a Roku device where you can sign in to any of your favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, etc. There is high speed wifi throughout the home.
Please take note that we have a wonderful neighbor who is a professional gunsmith. We are in a rural setting and so you may see/hear him testing his firearms from time to time on his private gun range.

Friend trip to Wedding in Cookeville

This is a beautiful property in a quiet, country neighborhood and the owners were very nice and helpful and made fabulous recommendations of places to eat. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Cookeville stay

We had a great stay in this home. Loved the farm animals in the neighboring yards. The property is as good as described and owner was very prompt with his responses. Would stay again.

Beautiful country home

Beautiful country home just outside of Baxter and super close to Cookeville. So peaceful with the cows roaming just beyond the yard. We loved the nice linens on the beds.

Comfortable home near Cookville

Very clean and comfortable little home mins away from Cookeville 10 mins away from center hill lake. Nice and quite naborhood. Host is very accommodating.

Canoe the Caney

We spent the weekend at this lovely home while doing a float trip on the Caney .. excellent location .. country setting but within 10-15 of restaurants and town.. property very clean .. beds comfortable .. quiet. The check in and check out process extremely easy and owners very responsive .. would highly recommend.. had a great stay

Perfect stress reliever

Stayed here to visit Cookeville, see Cummins Falls and Cooking on the square. The house was in great shape, very clean and extremely peaceful. Sitting outside on the deck was our favorite place. The view was awesome and very relaxing. We would stay here again!

Cute and comfy

As soon as we opened the door, we felt welcome and like we were at home. The house was very clean, and we enjoyed the deck and the cows outside. Just so you know...DO NOT PUT A KEURIG RESERVOIR in the dishwasher!! Shawn was great and easy to work. Overall, a lovely experience.

Spotless home in country setting

When we arrived, the house was absolutely spotless. We appreciated the back deck, and enjoyed watching the goats and cattle in the fields near the house. The beds were very comfy and the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and spacious. The check-in and out process was simple and the homeowner was great about communication. Highly recommend this property if you’re visiting the Cookeville area.

Golf getaway…stop #1.

Spic and span. Ranch. Quiet home on dead end street. Perfect for our group of three brothers for golfing. Rained one day and hit Nashville…an hour away. Perfect.

Great place

The house was clean and as advertised. The host was available whenever we needed him. The only problem I had was I wanted the address before we left for vacation and I was told they dont send out the address til day of. We came from Michigan and it was nerve wracking not knowing where we were going til I got the email. If this is vrbos policy I wouldnt book with vrbo again because of it.

Visiting Family

We were in Cookeville to celebrate our grandsons High School Graduation at TN Tech University. This house was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in the last few years. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was updated and very clean. It met my standard of clean and that’s not easy to do. The house was tastefully decorated and had everything you would need. It was a good location and not to far from the freeway. We got a kick out of waking up to cows and goats grazing in the adjacent property! Thank you to the hosts for the water and coffee which was provided. We would stay here again and recommend to other travelers. Thank You

A little piece of heaven

Communication with owner and check in/out process very easy and streamlined. Home just as described with nice extra touches of luggage cots, nightlights and plenty of hangers. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and getting visits by the neighboring cows and goats every morning. Will certainly be back should our travels take us to the Cookeville/Baxter areas again.

Comfortable and clean

Excellent communication, a very clean home that was minimalist and extremely comfortable, quiet country setting was the highlights of our stay. We hopefully be able to stay here every time we visit my son and his wife. Thank you for a pleasant stay! It changed my husband’s mind on renting a house instead of a hotel room!

Lovely, comfortable home with plenty of space

What a beautiful home! It was exactly as the pictures showed. Super comfortable master bedroom king bed. Plenty of room for a family with 3 kids. We didn't use the extra adult size bed or bunk beds, but the rooms were spacious. The whole house is very clean, fresh, and cheery. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen, and the kitchen is fully stocked for anything you need. I just had the coffee as we ate out and were gone most of the time except at night. The couch in the family room is very comfortable. The heater heats the home well. The owner is easy to reach and responds immediately. Easy check in with electric lock box door entry which was super easy. Overall, our favorite place we've stayed out of 3 in the Cookeville area. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Beautiful cozy home!

This house is amazing. 3 bedroom 2 bath with plenty of space. The house was super clean, spacious and well equipped with essential items. The back yard is finced in perfect for kids to play, nice clean area and the deck was great! We will definitely stay here again. Cookeville has alot of fun things to explore!

Wonderful place to stay!

We were here for a quick weekend after staying in Sevierville, TN. This house was so perfect, I highly recommend it. Very clean, and the owners made it so easy. It is also in a great location. Close to Tennessee Tech, and only an hour away from Nashville. It was a perfect stay!
