Cottage by the Sea at Seaglass Village Cottages

Welcome to Cottage by the Sea (#104) in Seaglass Village. The owners: The cottage’s owners, Jeff and Tom, first came to the Ogunquit/Wells area nearly 30 years ago and fell in love with it. They purchased their first summer home in the area in 2002, but a work opportunity took them away from the area in 2005. In anticipation of retirement in the (hopefully) not too distant future, they purchased Cottage by the Sea in 2021. They are excited to have purchased in Seaglass Village, an adult-oriented community, and to have like-minded individuals enjoy their cottage until they are able to call it their full-time summer home. The location: Cottage by the Sea’s location cannot be beat. It is perfectly situated near the front of Seaglass Village, providing quick and easy access to Route 1 and all that Ogunquit, Wells, and the Seaglass Village Community have to offer. With no cottages across or behind and a large side yard, you can relax in a peaceful and serene outdoor space. The BBQ grill, a cozy sitting area, and a picnic table provide all you need to enjoy your morning coffee, a casual lunch, or evening cocktails with your special someone. The gravel parking area provides sufficient room for both your car and our golf cart (which you are welcome to use during your stay). The cottage: As you make your way into our cottage, you will enter the beautiful sunroom, with its high ceilings, abundant windows, comfy loveseat, and dining table perfect for meals or working remotely. Our sunroom opens into the living area, where you can lounge on the sofa, read in one of the two inviting armchairs, or watch a movie on the flat screen TV, with wi-fi connection. Off the living area, you’ll find our fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and Corian countertops. The kitchen has been thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need during your stay – china, glassware, utensils, pots and pans, microwave, blender, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, and so much more. We also include a lobster pot for those delicious Maine summer cookouts. The master bedroom is in the rear of the cottage, perfect for an afternoon nap. It boasts a very comfortable queen size bed, long dresser with an attached mirror, large closet, and flat screen TV. Our guest bedroom features another comfortable bed, dresser, closet, flat screen TV and DVD player, and also houses the washer and dryer, tucked away in the second closet for your convenience. The bathroom features a full-size shower and tub, with a transom window. A hair dryer is also provided. Our cottage is tastefully furnished and decorated with lovely coastal décor and with sophisticated adults in mind. Disclaimer: Please note that all 3 season cottages and 4 season cottages have a sunroom that is not heated. During the colder months of September-May, it may be chilly in the sunroom/t.v. room, we want to advise you of this as we do not provide extra heating. All 4 season cottages will only be 4-person in the winter months.

Adult oriented Cottage, perfectly situated near the front of Seaglass Village providing quick and easy access to Route 1. While on the property, you will have easy access to all amenities with the use of a provided golf cart.
