New in 2025!!! The pool is being refinished and will look like new by Easter 2025. A new AC unit has been added to the top level to keep the area cool during the ever increasing number of hot summer days.

Ground Level: Features a den with wet bar, elliptical, recumbent bike, full-size fridge, and smart TV. Oversize bedroom with two bunk sets and queen, children’s library, a full bath and laundry area.

Mid Level: Features two main bedrooms with whirlpools and new smart TVs, a semi-private main bedroom with a king bed and a new smart TV, a bedroom with two twins and a smart TV, and a full bath.

Top Level: Very accommodating great room, bright and airy, with a large wet bar, gas fireplace, new 65“ smart TV, mini fridge under island counter and a well-equipped kitchen. Your eyes will be riveted to the fantastic views of the ocean.

Amenities: Private heated pool (12' x 30'- heat for an additional fee of $60 per day), hot tub, WiFi, gas fireplace, six TVs, two Blu-Ray players, movies, toys for kids of all ages, board games, puzzles, books, two wet bars, two Whirlpool tubs, and baby items, including a new Pack 'n Play with a bassinet insert, new booster seat, new toddler bed rails, new full-size crib, high chair. Exercise equipment includes an elliptical and recumbent bike. There is also a hammock and a gas grill. Beach access: 200 yards.

Reduced greens fees at The Carolina Club & The Pointe. Corolla Light is a private community that requires guests to wear wristbands to access community amenities. Corolla Light Amenities for 12 guests. The HOA offers trolley service from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Things to Know
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
The private pool is open from May 1st through October 15th. Pool Heat is available upon request at $60 per day. You can contact guest services and add the pool heat to your reservation. Please provide at least 72 hours advance notice. Pool heat is not available in July and August.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Corolla Light

Excellent house. Accommodated 4 families. 8 adults and 4 teenagers. The adults were on one level and the teens on another. The neighborhood had great amenities for rain or shine. The staff was outstanding to deal with. Great Christmas, New Years family outing.

Perfection

Location, location, location. This house cannot be beat with its proximity to the ocean and pools, parks and restaurants. It was fully equipped for nights in and had everything we needed for the kiddos. After stays in many OBX vacation homes, this one is at the top of my list.

Many hiccups which included check in process , our package was not there , broken ice maker , A/C not working , hot tub not working properly , screen door falling off track , trolley around property shown in photos not in service , workers just showing up unannounced Had to make many calls for maintenance. No compensation given Beautiful location , house very clean

Family Requirement

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this home. It's our chosen place because of the private pool, access to the beach, spacious bedrooms and baths, open floor plan, workabke kitchen, multiple sinks, refrigerators and decks with an ocean view.

Wonderful house, great location, heated pool option was amazing. Kitchen was well stocked, even though we did not cook. Lots of beach toys!! Puzzles were great. A few games were missing pieces so unable to play. Loved it.

First time at Corolla Light

Fantastic location!! like some reviews the house is a little dated (furniture etc) but the kitchen level is perfect! Great views of the ocean and the location is a minute walk to the beach. Carpets could use replacing and the baths could be updated but really you are on the beach or in the kitchen. Not a deal breaker. Will def be back!

Great Stay in Corolla Light.

Great property location in Corolla Light which we have visited for many years. Very large house for only two of us, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay as did our pup! Steep indoor steps without carpeting a little slick for a dog as big as ours, but we managed. Ants in kitchen need to be addressed, but overall a clean and accommodating property in a great location! Recommend to all! We appreciated the early entry on Day #1!

Amazing week at the OBX!

My family has visited the Outer Banks for over 30 years and this was our first time staying in Corolla Light! The location was amazing and access to the resort and its amenities was an added bonus. We had a great week and the house made it an awesome experience. We had 4 kids under 6 and the house was full of games and toys for them and all the accessories needed for a toddler. With over 10 people in the house, there was plenty of space to spread out and the views, pool, and close access to the beach made it even better! The house was stocked with beach toys, chairs, and other items to make the beach trips easy! Overall, would recommend this property and we will visit again! Our only challenge was at check in the property was not clean and we had to wait over an hour to get into a clean property. Otherwise, smooth sailing!

Lovely house near all amenities and beach.

We brought our 2 pups to this pet friendly home. It was nice and clean with the exception of the ‘bad’ dogs who had visited before us. However we were pleased there was not much evidence of this - just carpet stains in some of the bedrooms. If your pet can’t be contained in a room without marking - bring your kennel or crate! Our two 8y-old Golden’s are very well behaved and when I saw my Boy start to lift I sprang! Someone has not cleaned the errors properly. You can use rug cleaning products but unless you neutralize the area other pups are going to smell it. The house is clean, the kitchen cutlery and et are excellent- but there are no extras... if you’ve stayed where folks leave spices or oil or sugar, coffee filters or trash bags, that’s always nice but this home asks you to Take It All! Bring what you need. The pool looks small but was very nice to swim in - 4ft is the deepest. Shuffle board and putting green right next door to walk over - games and books and movies. But it would good to have some help with the main tv system. We finally figured out youvplug in the audio cables from the component you want to watch / play into the front of the receiver. Left speaker is not working so just do the right (red).

Beautiful home and view!

This was our 3rd year renting this home and we love it! It has a great view of the water! The owners take great care in making sure the home is taken care of and that you enjoy your stay! Lots of extras for the pool or beach, for your little ones and your fur babies! Our only concern is the house was rented for next year before we arrived and we won’t be able to stay next year. We suggest giving your current guests 1st option for the following year and waiting to post it after our reserved week like other realtors in the area do. We are sad we will have to find another home for 2023!

Clean and well stocked for all your needs

Really enjoyed our stay at Corolla sunrise. It was the cleanest house I ever checked into in OBX. Quick easy walk to the beach, the pool was lovely. Also, the house was very well stocked with kitchen ware, etc to meet all of our needs!

Off season get away

The house was enormous for just my wife and I and or dog. We wanted a winter get away to simply relax from the hustle of the daily grind. Certainly delivered what seemed almost like our very own paradise. Very quite and beautiful. Being pet friendly was a huge benefit and star gazing and walks along the beach were perfect. Great get away to simply relax.

Fantastic Week at Corolla Sunrise

Two families totaling 8 people (4 adults, 3 kids) stayed from 9/25-10/2 and found Corolla Sunrise to be an ideal property for our group. The proximity to the beach and amenities of Corolla Light Resort were absolutely fantastic. The home also had everything you need in terms of kitchenware, beach gear, etc… The private pool was great fun and convenience coming back from the beach. Corolla Sunrise is an ideal name as the views from the top floor and deck in the morning are beautiful. Additionally, the property management company was great and very responsive the couple times we reached out. Lastly, a big thank you to the owner for sending us a delicious treat on Thursday of our stay. Very much appreciated! Highly recommend Corolla Sunrise! Thanks again!

House is beautiful, property management company needs to do better job cleaning

The house is amazing and the owner made the experience very welcoming. My only concern was tied to the cleanliness when we arrived - it doesn’t appear the management company did a good job cleaning . I had to clean all the fans as they were filled with black dust. Also they should make sure all tv remotes have batteries- 3 of our remotes didn’t have batteries. Just feels like I had to spend too much time initially making sure everything was in order in the home.
