Guests have access to the Corolla Light Recreational Amenities. Guests are instructed to pick up their resort information and amenity bracelets on the first day of their reservation at the Corolla Light Sports Center located at 1026 Ocean Trail Corolla, NC 27927. Your check in time is not until 4:00 PM but you can take advantage of the resort amenities as soon as you retrieve your information from the Sports center, as early as 9 am on your scheduled check-in day.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Awesome Dog Friendly Stay

Peaceful location on the sound side. It is a very convenient location if you love to paddle. The hot tub and pool are great amenities also.

Wonderful home and vacation

Beautiful and comfortable with great amenities

This house is beautiful with a lot of thoughtful additions like 2 refrigerators in the kitchen and updated bathrooms. There are also 2 paddle boards and a decent sized charcoal grill. The house is steps away from the sound with gorgeous views and a nice walking trail, surrounded by lots of trees. We would definitely stay here again!

Large house with room for many, but needs updating

This house comfortably fits a crowd with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a large kitchen and dining area. Beware that the sound can be smelly at times, and the house is in need of some maintenance. The wood floors on the main living area are in desperate need of refinishing, and there were several other areas that needed a little attention. In general the location was great and the house was a good deal for the money.

Loved East Meets West!

This house was great for our family vacation! We loved the location, space, amenities inside and out, and how close it was to the 4x4 beach! We hope to be back soon! Our group was 6 adults and 4 kids ages ranging from 8 to 70 and we were all comfortable! All 3 primary rooms were equally nice, with bathrooms being redone and having deck access. Great views and access to the sound and we could watch the sunset every evening! The only wants definitely made sure we had everything in the kitchen we would need for our stay as well as games, puzzles and books! All furniture was comfortable and we could all sit together! Great stay!

Beyond expectations!

From finding this gem to checking out, this was a great first visit to the Outer Banks! After being delayed by hurricane (Dill hole) Dorian and having a minor issue, freezer door was stuck and we didn't want to rip the door open, I called the office and they not only had maintenance there in less then an hour but had him drop our welcome packet off. Very nice of them after we drove all night! Can't say enough about the staff including keeping us up to date with re-entry to the area. I was very impressed with the spead in which everything within the community was being cleaned up. The house was beyond what we expected! From the homey decor, fully stocked kitchen, extra beach and pool toys to the gorgeous sunsets! The home was close to shopping and close to the 4x4 beach. We had plenty of room for our party of nine and two dogs. This may have been our first time to the lovely Corolla but won't be our last and hope the rebook the same house!

Not the cleanest place

The house is in a good location and the resort features are really nice. However, the house was not the cleanest when we arrived. There was a clogged toilet in the master bedroom and a few dirty dishes had been put back in the cabinets. It took 24 hours for maintenance to come and fix the toilet. The outdoor furniture is pretty cheap and many of the plastic chairs were cracked and wobbley, one even broke in half while my brother was sitting in one on the first night. There were also cobwebs and spiders all over the outside decks, screened in porch, as well as in the house. We know the summer is when the spiders are plentiful, but the house should be swept for cobwebs before renters come in and that obviously had not been done in a long time.

Home on the Sound

The home is located in a beautiful spot on the sound in Corolla, North Carolina. The community is tree-lined and serene yet is just a short walk to the beach. Eat Meets West is very well equipped. Guests can enjoy the private pool, hot tub, as well as the near-by ocean. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware for a full house. The only negative that impacted our trip was the inconsistent Internet. Since the house does not have cable TV, access to programming is through the Internet. Despite a strong signal, the Internet cut off every 15-20 minutes, remaining off for a period of time. Our family enjoys movie nights while on vacation and this was not possible with the Internet problem. The rental office was informed about the issue twice and it was not addressed. In fact we received no communication from the office informing us of the progress of the repair.

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

This house was a perfect place to stay. Our group dynamic was 6 Adults, 5 kids, and a dog. The house was very spacious and all were able to spend great time together or have enough room to have alone time. The house is well equipped with everything you could imagine. The property management in corolla light is fantastic and allows you to use the outdoor portion of the house around 11:00am. This enabled us to stretch our legs, allow the kids to play in the pool and paddle board in the sound until house keeping had cleaned for our visit. At that time we were given our wrist bans which allow you to use the community pools and facilities which is a great bonus. Sound front was a plus allowing us to crab, fish, and swim. The property has two paddle boards and 5 beach chairs which was great so no need to bring or rent those. Located about 3 houses away is the trolley pick up which will take you to the beach or other community amenities without having to pack your car or walk. This was very convenient as we had varying degrees of abilities among our group and a lot of items to lug to the beach to occupy the kids. During a storm we had lost our WIFI and placed a call for assistance. Not only was the property management extremely courteous and speedy to see what they could do, the owner even called the property to inquire. This goes to show that they really care about return business which is a direct reflection of the property and services. All rooms were very spacious and very comfortable beds. We were able to settle in and make it our home quickly. Two thumbs up and 5 stars. We wish we could have stayed another week

Sound-front Corolla❤️

This was our second year staying at East Meets West. Love the location, being near the pier, and Whalehead house with the lighthouse top visible. The sunsets are a favorite with our family. So grateful for this pet friendly home, as our son & daughter in law bring their dog whom we all love. Something to be aware of- kitchen may need some utensils replaced/updated The upper level screen doors need to be repaired An umbrella for the pool deck would be appreciated Upon leaving on our last day, noticed the dryer vent located outside the front door was in dire need of being cleaned. Everyone in our group had a wonderful, restful week with beautiful weather and cool temps. Hope this was a happy memory for my grandson as he starts 4th grade this week!

Nicely Kept Home in Best Location Ever

This was our 3rd time staying at this home. We love that the home is right on the sound yet a short walk to the beach. The home is well maintained and clean. It is also a big plus that our dog can stay with us. He loves it here also

Beautiful view and comfy home

We loved the how spacious it was and the beautiful view of the sound. My father, who is 95, swam in the pool everyday half an hour. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable.

Nice but could use a few updates

This house was a good size and clean. My two complaints are the couches where dirty and need to be replaced and there where ants in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Great HOme and location

The cleaning service could have been better there were dust balls and animal hair left on the floors. Also the front upstairs porch was unusable because the furniture and outside of the house was just covered in bugs. Could have used a hose and broom, so that it could have been used.

Great Location

The location is sound front so great sunsets. I agree with other review that tree trimming would improve the view. The pier is located just one house over. Trolley service in neighborhood was nice. The house has a great layout for 3 couples. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans etc. Our only recommendation to the owners is to replace carpeting and refinish wood floors as both are rather worn. Booking company was very helpful.

Peaceful on the Sound

Typically we prefer to stay right on the Beach from Kitty Hawk down to Nags Head but this vacation we decided to try something different...staying on the sound side in Corolla. We are so glad we did because it was perfect! Peaceful and calm and just a walk away from the beach! Our dogs loved the walks and it was great to see such a dog loving community! We were very happy with our stay. The house was very nice and had the comfortable feeling like your were "at home". Next time we will remember to pack less since it was difficult to haul things up to the 3rd floor. The view of the sound was nice but it would have been spectacular if the trees were cut back a bit....at least from a 3rd floor perspective :) Thank you for a lovely stay! Carol from Delaware
