Reel paradise<br>Beach Front Paradise 60 feet from sand and surf

Our house sits directly on the beach facing the east. It has a great deck for you to sit on and enjoy the view! There are two stair cases that lead up to the house, one from the beach and the other from the parking area under the house.

The house is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom plus loft. King bed in master bedroom with attached full bathroom with shower and tub. Queen bed in second bedroom. Second bathroom is also complete with shower and tub. The loft area has 4 twin beds that are great for kids! The best part of the house is the wall of windows overlooking the beach, in the open living room/dining room. There is a large table that seats 8 people with a smaller breakfast bar with three stools.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the necessities.
There is a washer and dryer downstairs with some beach chairs and toys.
There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off, and a grill.
*The floors and paint in the main area have been recently been updated as some of the pictures depict. .
*The area is called the forgotten coast for a reason. (Which is why we love it!!!). There are pros and cons to this. The pros are that there are never crowds, and the beach is usually your private beach. The cons are supplies are limited in town. There is a dollar general 15 minutes away with basics, but the nearest grocery store is in Crawfordville which is 30 minutes away. We usually bring our groceries with us so we don’t have to leave because we love it so much!

Perfect!

I loved this beach house! The deck overlooking the water was my favorite part and the fact it had a sliding gate was great. The house was very well stocked, clean, and decorated so cute. We loved the private beach where the dogs could run and play. The fire pit by the beach was nice as well. We saw dolphins, deer, and bald eagles during our stay. It is a remote location (which I like) but it does require some planning for grocery trips etc into town which is about 30 mins away. I would love to come back at stay at Reel Paradise! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Unparalleled ocean view

You really can't get much closer to the water. The deck is fantastic, and you can see the ocean from every room of the house. The house is charming and kitchen really well stocked. The owners were extremely responsive every time we had to contact them with questions. This is a wonderful place especially if you just want to relax. Would definitely come back.

Great communication

House was perfect for our family, spacious and well stocked kitchen. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! When the air conditioning stopped working our host was on it, sending a repair person and crediting us for the day we were out. We will definitely rent this property again.

Beachfront relaxation

Great location right on the beach! Lots of space and seating in the common areas. Loft upstairs is perfect for kids. Host communicated well and was very responsive before and during trip. It was perfect for our group. We would definitely consider staying again in the future!

Bright and Beautiful!

This lovely home was directly on the sand with amazing views of the Gulf! Sunrises were spectacular from the living area and kitchen as the whole area glowed. The deck was great for relaxing and reading - our dog thought he was in heaven sitting there watching the world go by. We saw pods of dolphins playing close to the beach and numerous sea birds flying overhead. Comfy master bed and a large functional kitchen - well stocked with everything you would need. A very special thanks to the host who went out of her way to make sure we had a place to stay at the last minute due to an unfortunate situation with another property that we had reserved and was cancelled on us at 5 PM - check in time. We hope to return to Reel Paradise!

Beautiful views and home

Beautiful Sunrises

We had a great week. The rental had everything we needed and was set up perfectly for 2 couples and 4 kids. This area is truly a gem and we love this unspoiled area of Florida.

Nice retreat on the water

House is right on the water and has a very open feel with a complete wall of windows overlooking the gulf/bay. Owner was responsive with any needs. House has everything you need except food. House was clean and the beds are really comfy (an awesome plus for sure). Had our two german shepherds there for some of the trip and its a great private beach to let them stretch their legs. We had a lot of peaceful relaxation time and would love to book again. If you are looking for a peaceful place to spend the week/weekend, this is it! A+

Alligator Point

The view from the front living area was spectacular, with the home being located right on the ocean front. Our stay in Alligator Point was very relaxing and we enjoyed every single day. Was very happy to find a place which accepted our dog who also enjoyed himself. So nice to find a place without all the tourist shops . We did plan one day of sightseeing in Tallahassee.

Directly on the Beach

We were overall very pleased with our stay. The house is directly on the beach and that alone compensates for other things that we did not love. The main thing that we came to be frustrated with is the location. It is at least a 30 minute drive to the closest real grocery store. There is nowhere really close by to run to get something, so plan accordingly! The loft area was very, very cool and would be great for kids. We were very pleased but will probably opt for a house not so far out the next time we visit Florida.

Filthy

Spent 3 hrs cleaning before okaying my immune compromised husband to come in. There was crusted on food on the dining table/chairs and upholstered chairs. Refrigerator and freezer/icemaker had clearly not been wiped down after last renters. Broken furniture and partially burned wood scattered around the property. I did not realize the gulf in that area has brackish water so did not swim at all. Positives: King bed was comfortable, good water pressure, good fishing. I don’t mind dated furnishings but I strongly mind filth!

Enjoyed the house

This was a great house very close to the water. The house is older and could use a little updating on the outside, but it was very clean and comfortable inside. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished!! We had young adults who shared the loft space and it was fine and roomy! We loved being so close to the water and the view from the living room!

Awesome

Both: my daughter and I we had stayed in this wonderful beach house on May 20th through 28th. It is a real Oceanfront beach house with wonderful views of ocean and sunrises. The house was very clean and fully equipped rental property: it had everything what we needed for a pleasant stay, including new bath towels. Unfortunately, for several sunny days we had many strangers who were occupying the beach right in front of the rental house even it was not a public beach access. Maybe due to a fact that this rental house has one of the nicest beach access. These strangers left bunch of trash in front of the house. Anyway, we recommend this rental property and we hope that would come back!

Great Location. Bumpy start but ended well.

When we arrived at 5:30, over an hour and a half after check in we found the house to be dirty. The bedding and trash from the previous tenants had never been changed or taken out. I left messages and called the after hours person. She assured me that someone would call me back within a few minutes. By the end of the trip the rental company had resolved all of the problems. As for the property itself, it is perfect and wonderful. It has the shortest walk to the beach. The upstairs loft area is PERFECT for families. The kids had a ball. The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and beds very comfortable. I would suggest to bring bug spray as the mosquitos are huge. The kitchen is very nice and the amenities are perfect. I would rent this location again.

So peaceful!

This quaint beach cottage was perfect for my family. We loved being right on the beach, having the Florida room to watch the storms, and spending quiet moments on the porch swing. The house was well equipped and cozy. A great escape!

Wonderful weekend with family! Highly Recommend!

We met up with our family that traveled from Orlando, and we are from Montgomery. It was exactly half-way. The kids had fun exploring, catching crabs, collecting sea life, building a campfire on the beach. We explored the surrounding area and saw tons of deer and a black bear! The house was amazing - so well stocked and perfect for two families each with two kids (8 people total). The loft was fun for the kids and we had many a great meal and card game on the beautiful farmhouse table. The description was exactly as stated - we will be back since we loved the house and this "forgotten coast of Florida." Only one minor downside...one member of our party was on crutches, so going up/down the stairs and loft was cumbersome. But under his normal healthy circumstances, that would not have been an issue.
