Gorgeous view!

The Golden Goat was the perfect place to relax and unwind. My favorite spot was the screened porch. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook meals. I can’t wait to return!

The only problem we had was the Love Bugs were everywhere in the house when we checked in. This is really out of the control of the management, but it was noted. The house was wonderful and you can't beat the screened in porch. Many places to eat around the town and we were able to enjoy the Blue Crab Festival. Thank you for sharing your home. We hope to be back. Oh, and I bet we were the first guests of yours to do dialysis from the family room. We picked this house specifically for the view my husband was able to enjoy during the three 3-hour sessions he had while we were there. Thanks again. we loved it.

Hi Anna, I am so glad the location worked out for you and your husband and he was able to get what he needed. And YES about the love bugs! I have never in my life seen the lovebug season so wild! Thankfully it only lasts a few weeks and they die off but none of us can remember so many lovebugs! Thank you for coming and please visit again! I think the love bugs will be gone by then... :)

Shorty

Would have been better if I was about a foot taller & 10 years younger! The steps were high and of differing heights, the extra toilet paper was 2 feet higher than me! I had to use a step stool to get in bed...it was waist high for me. And no hand rails in shower Still. The house was very nice and clean. The view was great. Just a beautiful place. Next time I would definitely rent from this company BUT I'd try to find something a little more appropriate for me. The rental agent was awesome!

THE GOLDEN GOAT ON THE BAY

We absolutely love staying here! The owners are beyond fantastic and will help with anything you need. The house is a perfect place for us right on the bay. We had everything we needed in the home including beach chairs, a wagon, kayaks, bicycles, etc...

We loved this rental! It was very clean, comfortable, modern (and open/airy!) inside, and on the ground floor (no flights of stairs to lug our things up/down)! And, the screened in back porch was perfect and where we had our meals and stayed more than indoors. The scenery was beautiful, and the area is so peaceful. We drove around Wakulla Co and surrounding areas a lot, enjoying the wildflowers!
