Beautiful, Cozy Home!

We had the best girls trip to Over the Mountain cabin in early October 2025. The cabin was the perfect spot for our getaway. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and comfortable porch-sitting weather, perfect for making memories!

We had a wonderful stay for a quick weekend away! The cabin was comfy and cozy, great location!! We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace while looking out the picture window of the gorgeous mountain views!

Perfect stay

We loved everything about this cabin. The views were incredible, the beds were comfortable, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We were close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet still felt secluded. I hope we get a chance to stay again!

Nice property, good location

This was a nice little cabin with a good view, everything was in good condition. The property managers sent good instructions ahead of time and checkin was easy. Everything was as expected. Definitely a nice stay and just what we were looking for.

Honeymoon Stay

Overall the property was very pretty and we did enjoy our stay. The only downside was right next to us there were people logging pretty much all day so it was not peaceful at times. The hot tub was definitely a nice perk though.

Loved our stay.

The house is beautiful and cozy. The views were gorgeous. We loved our stay there it’s equipped with everything advertised. We would stay there again. The owners were helpful. We had asked advice on places to go and they responded immediately and sent links for our viewing. I definitely recommend this house.

One of the very best cabins in the Smokies!

We've stayed in many Smokies cabins, and this one has one of the best, if not THE best, views of the mountains and sunrises. The cabin was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We liked the fact that the hot tub is enclosed in a screened porch, and we loved the upstairs screened porch - it was a great get-away area from the rest of the cabin. There was easy access for loading and unloading luggage (no steps to navigate). Although we were too busy hiking to use it, the game area is well-furnished. Another couple stayed with us for part of our time there, and it worked well having 4 of us in the cabin. Larry & Stacia were easy to contact and very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend Over the Mountain cabin and would definitely stay there again!

My happy place

This is my favorite place, my happy place. This cabin is secluded and has stunning sunrise views that do not even seem real. I have never in my life intentionally got up to see a sunrise before staying at this cabin. The master bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large, and the wrap around deck with the table are a few of the features I liked best. The hot tub in the screened in porch area was great in the evening or in the cooler months sitting in the living room with the fireplace. All around this is by far my most favorite getaway!!!

The bathroom showers and sinks are all clogged. When you shower you are standing in water up to your ankles. The mattresses have zero support and very lumpy. It wasn’t a cheap stay. I expected better.

Great Location and Amazing View

What an amazing place. We booked a little late and were worried about what we were getting. Wow, we got lucky! The cabin had plenty of space for my family of 5 (twin 11 year old boys and 14 girl). It was very clean and had everything we needed. The boys loved the upstairs game area and the hot tub. Our daughter loved the upstairs porch, it gave her space to herself. My wife and I loved the wrap around porch. The photos in the listing do not do the view from the porch justice, we could have sat out there all day everyday. The drive to the cabin from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were easy. Everything we wanted to do was just a short drive down the mountain. There is only one spot entering the housing area that was a little narrow just needed to be careful and watch for other cars. Even though we did not need anything from Stacia and Larry it was clear they were there for us if we did. We are already trying to plan our next stay and would also love to checkout other properties owned by Stacia and Larry. This was an Amazing trip thank you!

Cozy cabin with magnificent views!

Pure relaxation from start to finish! 🌄 Watching the sunrise from the back deck was absolutely breathtaking, and the mountain views were simply magnificent. Our family time in this cozy cabin was exactly what we needed to recharge and reconnect. We loved fishing at the pond, had a blast playing pool, and ending the evenings in the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down. 🛶🎱✨ The memories we made here will be cherished forever. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

The cabin was clean and the beds were great. My wife is very particular about cleanliness and we both like soft beds. There was plenty of room for the pool table. The owners were quick with a response. We will go back.

All around great house, decks and location

Location was perfect for a mountain getaway for the family, peaceful location with a great deck and views of the mountains. We had a need for 3 beds so used both bedrooms and the pullout couch in the game room. There are some other houses nearby, but it was very quiet and felt private due to all of the trees around the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin with a stunning view of the mountains. This was truly my happy place. We enjoyed eating our meals outside in the middle of nature. Even though there were cabins nearby, we felt like we had that part of the mountain to ourselves. I plan on coming back again!

Overall our stay was great at the house, however; it would have been wonderful to have extra basic items like paper towels, body towels and blankets for the sofa beds and a decent pots and pans to cook with.
