There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Not as what shown online

Pictures are misleading. Room was small and dated. Shower head was broken. Water temperature was either freezing or boiling hot. Had to stand there and adjust the flow to prevent my daughter from being burnt. Beds boxspring was broken, sliding glass door to balcony was broken. Would not return.

Great place

I have stayed at Ocean Park every time at Myrtle Beach since 2014. However this is my first time back since new ownership has taken over. The new owners have done a fantastic job. It’s the still the best place in MB if you have a dog coming with you. We’ll be back there this December for sure.

Questionable Choices

A lot of MB hotels/motels leave you with questionable choices, not this one. Under new ownership. I had no complaints at all. Great rooms. Don't have to deal with carpet. They leave little things like a broom/dustpan for sweeping sand and soap to wash your coffee cups. Free DVD rentals, free tickets to water parks etc. Where can you go wrong? You can't at Ocean Park! Smoke free facilities and super pet friendly! Even offer late check out when available that extends your stay 4hrs!

The bed broke when I sat on it. Reported, nothing done after I stated I wasn't hurt. The water temperature varies at least 30°. Only one washcloth and a half a roll of toilet paper.

Honestly Unsafe, Door locks/elevator not working, Putrid Smells

Upon checking in, the condition of the neighborhood was less than ideal. My initial concerns were confirmed when a security guard had to accompany us to the 9th floor to check our room before we entered because of the consistent problem this hotel has with homeless individuals scaling the balconies and breaking into the rooms to “just sleep” — the staff seemed completely unconcerned with this. In fact, told me that if I decided to leave and find another room in Myrtle Beach, I’d experience the same issue everywhere. This is simply untrue and unsafe. Their 20 year old security guard who carries nothing more than a $3 flashlight as protection, did not make me feel safer. I did not sleep a minute during my stay. Afraid of someone getting into my room because it is not secure. Not at all. The rooms and hallways are disgusting, smell, and look like a run down homeless shelter. Stay away from this property. The pictures online are deceiving.

Friendly staff always willing to help. Great view and good location. Place was always clean and pool area was always neat and clean. I would stay again.

Not what I thought it would be for the money. Outdoor area and pools were great. Inside could use some work. Staff were nice. Parking was somewhat difficult.
