Welcome to Bahama Breeze Galveston! Our beautiful canal home in Galveston's west-end Sea Isle beach community is just one canal from West Bay. This 2000SF family-friendly home has four bedrooms, two baths and a loft and includes a washer & dryer. The iconic palapa bar includes a sink, fridge and ice maker and is a great entertainment area. For the fisher(wo)men in your family we have a covered 10,000 pound boat lift and fish filet station. Bring your gear and fish right from your private deck. Bring your boat and you’ll have a safe spot to dock and launch from. The beach is just a short walk or golf cart ride away.

Bahama Breeze’s ground level offers multiple spaces for relaxation and outdoor fun and with second level decks on both the front and rear of the home, there are numerous options for enjoying sunrises and sunsets.

The peaceful living space is filled with natural light from the sunny windows overlooking the canal and bay. The dramatic vaulted ceiling is highlighted with rustic wood finishes, and architectural touches offer interest throughout the home. There are TVs in every bedroom, and in the palapa for easy viewing on the canal deck. The home offers fast wifi for remote working, remote learning, and streaming your favorite show after a full day on the bay. Don't like screens? We offer a full game closet sure to delight adults and children. There are more than a half dozen seating areas inside the home - perfect to find a quiet nook to enjoy a book and a cup of coffee, or a large table to enjoy board games with the family.

The bay is at your backdoor when you stay at Bahama Breeze - you'll be boating in open water in moments! It's a pleasant 0.8 mile walk to the beach, or a two minute golf cart or car ride. Sea Isle beach is a vehicle free zone and there is a convenient parking area adjacent to the beach. The outdoor shower is wonderful for washing away a day's worth of sandy beaches. On Sea Isle's streets you will encounter lots of walkers, runners, bike riders, children and golf carts so please heed the posted speed limit of 20 MPH.

A starter supply of paper goods, coffee, soap, trash bags and detergents is included. Additional supplies may be purchased at the marina.

Within the community of Sea Isle is a private boat launch, a community swimming pool and a private fishing pier. Additional Sea Isle amenities include a bait shop, convenience store, tennis and basketball courts, picnic area pavilion with a stellar playground and the famous Sandbar Restaurant for food and drinks. Please note that the Sea Isle Community Pool is available by purchasing a $100 pool pass from Sea Isle Homeowner Association. Sea Isle Homeowner Association is only open Monday-Friday, 10am to 5pm. Guests should call ahead to purchase a pool pass ($100.00 for up to 10 guests for length of reservation). NO POOL PASSES SOLD ON THE WEEKEND. If pool pass is not purchased by 5pm on Friday prior to the start of the reservation, no pool access will be available over the weekend. Pool is open daily Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend and during spring break, weather permitting.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: You must be 25+ to book this home.

Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire home excluding the garage and the owner's closet, and there’s parking for five cars in the driveway. The entire property is non-smoking.

Capacity: Our house comfortably sleeps 10. It is set up to sleep 8 adults and the nightly price listed is for 8. The 9th and 10th guests will incur a nightly charge, as shown when you select 9 guests or 10 guests, and will need to make up the loft's futon with the provided linens. Please note that the loft futon is in the loft, it is not in a private room and for this reason we recommend a maximum of 8 adults/10 total.

Pet Policy: One dog less than 50 pounds is permitted with paid Pet Fee of $250 at time of booking. Dog is not permitted on furniture or beds. Please crate/kennel your pooch when you leave the house without him or her; your dog may not be left inside the house without supervision unless they are confined to a crate. The insurance purchased through VRBO as part of the booking covers any accidental damage your pup may cause the house at no cost to you, but it must be reported immediately.

Bahama Breeze is a family-friendly rental. * NO PARTIES * NO SMOKING * PRIMARY RENTER MUST BE AT LEAST 25 * Upon booking we will ask for a copy of your state ID and the names/ages of everyone who will be in the house. Failure to follow these house rules, including bringing additional guests to the property not listed in the reservation and without prior approval, may result in being required to leave the premises immediately without refund.

This property is equipped with exterior (only) security cameras. Exterior (2) cameras: Front driveway entrance towards Deaf Smith Street. Back boat slip towards canal. All cameras will have the ability to record.

NOTE: Our cancellation policy will remain firm in all circumstances. Please ensure you are able to travel prior to booking, or purchase trip insurance to protect your vacation purchase.

We are a family of 6 living in Houston who love visiting Galveston every chance we get. We enjoy hiking, biking and water sports. We fell in love with Sea Isle after renting a house in the neighborhood one summer and immediately began looking for a vacation home in the vicinity.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love the soaring ceilings and all the gathering spots throughout the house. But we also love the neighborhood - it is so quiet and friendly, much different than our city neighborhood! The access to the canal provides our kids with hours of enjoyment every day - armed with nets, buckets and kayaks they will happily spend all day playing in and near the water.

Close to the beach, right on the water. A tiki bar with refreshing breezes to enjoy when you've had enough sun, and comfortable beds to collapse into when you've soaked up all the bliss you can handle for the day.

The marina and the playground are close enough for the kids to walk or ride their bikes to, and they usually do so several times a day. We love having the bar and grill in the neighborhood - the food is delicious and the vibe of the restaurant is perfect. It gets even better when live music is on the schedule!

The home's location in the West End of Galveston allows you to easily go "into the city" for any of the tourist attractions, but you'll be away from the hustle of the tourist-crowded beaches and restaurants. When you're in Sea Isle, every minute truly feels like Island Time.
