This Sea Isle home was in a quiet area outside of the main Galveston seawall. Ideal location for a less buys vibe but only 20 minutes to all the area attractions. So many great restaurants to choose from! Beach access is just across the street with the bonus of being able to drive your car right out on the beach. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. The outside space was amazing with upper and lower patios and access to the canal. We had a couple questions for the owner and he was quick to respond each time. The only thing I would change would be to have beach supplies added to the amenities. We have used VRBO for 20 years and rentals in beach towns have always had chairs, coolers, and beach towels for guests. These were all things we had to purchase on arrival and couldn't take home on an airplane. Even knowing this, we would book again. 10/10!

This was our 5 th or 6th time to stay at Casa Frio. We always have a good experience, everything is clean and in order for our stay. Check-in is easy. Parking, security, fencing are all good. We bring our dog with us so secure fencing is very important.We come for the redfish run, but this year the fishing was not good. The pier is nice, but just no redfish! We will try again next year. We dined at Katie's by the cruise terminal. We have had good experiences in the past, but quality seems to have dropped a bit. Also went to Stingarees on Bolivar. Pretty good food and a nice drive. Glad to see a fishing pier is being built at the old Rollover Pass site. Hope it will be completed by the time we come back in 2026.

This was our best trip yet to Galveston / Sea Isle. Best fishing trip ever. We stayed 5 nights and caught at least 25 fish, which was a record for us. We caught Red Drum, Black Drum, Croaker, Catfish and Pin Fish from Lee's pier. The big Sea Isle fishing pier was fun, but those fish were smart and stole all of our bait. Lee was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed. The house was so clean and cozy, but we mainly stayed outside and enjoyed the breeze down stairs fishing and visiting in the porch swings. Our Yorkie had a blast chasing the birds and laying on the cool concrete porch. I was so happy with this trip that I cried and thanked my husband for the best birthday week ever. Thank you Mr. Lee for one of the very best vacations and birthdays that I have ever had! We hated to have to leave, but we had to get back to work and the daily grind. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to chill and have a great time!Thank you so much Lee for sharing your wonderful place with us.

We loved our stay. House was exactly as described and very comfortable. Fenced yard was awesome for the dogs. Wonderful outside sitting areas up on the balcony as well as below the house with multiple swings to relax in while visiting with family & friends around the fire-pit . Neighborhood boat ramp and lift at the house provided easy access to the bay from the canal. Westend Marina is right around the corner for bite to eat and a drink. Don’t forget to grab some live bait from the bait shop while there to fish the green lights at night . House is well stocked with all the toiletries and kitchen(trash bags, coffee, etc.) items one needs . Owner was always quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. Look forward to staying again

We had a great time as a family! The house was very clean and well stocked. We had an issue with the A/C when we checked in but Lee answered right away and had someone there in less than an hour to fix it. We loved the location, my husband and sons caught a lot of fish right off the dock, day and night. It was also an easy 3 minute drive to the beach. We loved everything about this canal home and will definitely be back!

Family time

Fun times. Everything was clean and accessible. Not so much if ur disabled with restroom upstairs. But would recommend , and have. Wish fish were bitting more in the canal. But was less than 20 minutes to the pier so we could fish there.

Wont go back

First thing once we showed up to the house we noticed the trash cans were overflowing and smelled like dead fish. We retrieved the key and opened everything up down stairs room smelled like a dog slept and used the restroom in it for awhile it was atrocious, also there was a roach squashed in between the door jam witch i attached the picture below. We also noticed the guest room closet you can't access. They also had the audacity to come mow the lawn while we were there. My kids and myself left with very bad allergies from the place, so all and all ill never go back and I'd truly like to be compensated.

Quiet with super fishing

The neighborhood is very quiet. This is our favorite vrbo rental in the Galveston area. It is just the right size for us. Everything is as listed. We like being able to fish from the boat dock as well as bringing our own boat. Always a very relaxing stay.

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!Das Haus entspricht haargenau der Beschreibung auf der Website.Alles ist vorhanden, teilweise auch im Überfluss, aber das Beeindruckendste ist diese Stille, wenn man von der Terrasse aufs Wasser blickt und den Sonnenuntergabg geniesst.Lee, der Landlord, ist bestens erreichbar und Ă€usserst hilfsbereit - auch ihm 5 Sterne!

The fourth time to stay at this house but this time with a toddler. The deck is amazing! The stairwell has a gate and the decks is baby proof. He loved being able to crawl all around. Will be renting here again.

Fabulous

Our family has stayed at several VRBO locations over the years, but have never stayed where the owners provided as many options for cooking as well as towels, etc. We spent most of our time downstairs fishing and enjoying the fire pit while being able to watch the Astros on the TV. Having an extra refrigerator downstairs made it so convenient. We cooked all our meals for four days so we needed the extra space. We are looking forward to our next trip here.

I have enjoyed four homes in Sea Isle over the last thirty years and have many fond memories raising children, visiting with family and making friends here. I enjoy the relaxation of this subdivision's atmosphere and stay practically every weekend to relax and recharge.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Sea Isle by far is the best subdivision on the island due to its community amenities and spirit that fills the air when you visit. I purchased this home because of its open vaulted ceilings and canal front facing porch for enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise and sunsets. The downstairs is open to the prevailing southeast wind and usually has a nice breeze when other locations do not, making it the place we hang out the most. The downstairs sitting area with TV is where we spend most of our time eating dinner and enjoying company. We also enjoy the boat house sun deck for having dinners and sunbathing.

The home also has separate jet ski lifts and boat lifts making it available for you to bring all of your water sports toys and enjoy the bay for all it has to offer.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This home is located on the second canal from the bay and faces the southwest. You can enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the upper boat house deck. Any place you wish to visit is only a few blocks away due to its central location. You can't beat the downstairs entertainment area that is open to the back yard so your pets can also enjoy it with you. The outdoor propane fire pit is a wonderfully relaxing feature anytime of the year; especially spring, fall and winter.
