Hali'i Kai at Waikoloa Beach Resort is a 29-acre oceanfront resort, along an ocean golf course and the Pacific Ocean with luxurious 2-3 bedroom townhomes in a park-like setting with plenty of grassy areas. This gated complex has different views; ocean, mountain, golf course, and garden.The private Ocean Club is exclusively for Hali'i Kai owners and their guests. Overlooking the Pacific ocean, you can swim, dine, exercise and have tons of fun.

Great Condo for Big Island stay

Great private gated community with beautiful pool located in the Waikiloa Resort area. We stayed in a 3bdrm 2bath condo that was clean and very spacious, would definitely book again!

Wonderful Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hali'i Kai. Communication was excellent with the property managers and they were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot

This location worked really well for our family of 6. The beach accessories available to us were very convenient. This an awesome location of you want to spend time on both the West and East sides of the island. Host was very responsive to the few communications I had. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful Home in a Wonderful Location

The home was very well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen had lots of everything!! In was well stocked too with beach toys, chairs, boogy boards etc. Well decorated too and nice furniture. However, I would recommend that the beds and pillows are due for a change, mahalo!

Looking forward to our next visit

We had a great experience at this amazing property! Great communication and well appointed with items for the beach (chairs, towels, cooler, insulated bags, boogie boards) as well as tennis rackets and basketballs for the nearby courts. The location is perfect, close to shops, but in a gated community that is quiet and secure. Beautiful pool right by the ocean where you can get drinks and food. We are already looking forward to our next stay here on the big island!

Paradise found

Located in a quiet, clean and beautiful area. It is a short walk, or drive, to the club house where you can relax by the pool overlooking the Pacific ocean, or get a workout on the exercise equipment while looking at the ocean, or get a snack and drink at the bar. Sitting on the patio at the condo was a favorite spot for socializing and watching the birds. This is a place I highly recommend.

Great for a family, beautiful pool area which is what makes this place worth the stay other than that it wasn’t anything out of this world. Walkable to Kings/Queens shopping. It was very nice the condo was supplied with boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, everything you could need. The condo was hot during the night, we messaged to get the temperature turned down 1-2 degrees, it’s a locked thermostat, and they wouldn’t do it… so that was semi-miserable to sleep. Beautiful neighborhood!

Great Condo, Just as Described

The condo is clean, spacious and well appointed. The patio and grassy area were great for the little ones. We did have difficulty finding the place at night when we arrived. We also had to wait to hear back from host when we reached out. The condo is just as described in the listing.

Great stay and host

Our family of 5 (grandparent, 2 parents, teen and tween) loved this property. Plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen is VERY well equipped. Ice maker and cold water in fridge made filling water bottles before leaving for the day easy - no need to buy water. Having a grill right there was awesome - we used it multiple nights. Property felt safe - teen walked alone to hang out in the hammocks and explore the property daily. Adriana was very responsive when we had questions about the property. Only complaint is that we wish we had stayed longer! Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful place with everything you could ask for!

Beautiful condo. Very clean and inviting. We were almost afraid to touch anything as it seemed brand new. This condo had everything from beach chairs (6 even for my family of 6) to q-tips. Very well supplied! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with nice pots,pans, dishes etc. I was very happy to see the cooking utensils also matched the size of our family (large pans). I would definitely suggest offering a mattress topper as an option for the master bed as it was quite hard.

Exceeded expectations

I did a lot of research before selecting this property, comparing rentals around the island near this price point. I picked this one based on the photos, the location, and the amenities (my teenage boys are happy if they have a gym, or at least some exercise equipment, close by). The condo was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. It is very nicely furnished and decorated, and stocked with everything you might possibly need. The resort was gorgeous. We had a lot of activities planned, but could have spent much more time at the resort enjoying the pool and other amenities. Location was great for exploring the island. You will not be disappointed with this rental!

Nice place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy to work with LUVA. Instructions were clear and precise for Condo. Payment and Rental agreement were handled very smoothly. The ceiling Fans were broken in the unit so initially it was a little warm in the unit. But LUVA had already thought ahead and provided oscillating window fans which were a big help once the air condition turned on. I really appreciated their prior planning!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided to explore a new island and we are very glad we choose the big island! The condo in Waikoloa ( Hali’I Kai ) was awesome. Place was very roomy and had all the items you would need for a stay like it was your own home. We were pleasantly surprised that it had a sports closet with snorkel gear, body boards , cooler and chairs etc...The only thing we had to buy was food. This place/location was beyond what we expected and we really enjoyed just hanging out and eating at the pool. Sunsets are amazing there! Would definitely go back again. Adriana Camacho was very helpful answering our questions with where to go for beaches and where to shop as well. Thanks again!

Great place

Wonderful apartment that matches everything you see in the listing. The whole Hali'i Kai complex is terrific, and this apartment was clean, well stocked with towels and beach gear, pots & pans, and dishes. The view into the coconut grove was beautiful and peaceful. The Ocean Club Pool area (which also has a modest workout room that's open to the ocean and a full menu of food available to eat at the outdoor tables) was a highlight. Amazing view overlooking the ocean, nice shallow pool for cooling off, and a hot tub with a sand bottom! There was also a tennis court, a half basketball court, and a practic putting green (smallish). The apartment had tennis and pickle ball rackets and balls, wich we took advantage of. There's a nice grill outside the sliding glass door which worked great. The outdoor furniture was a bit worn out and could use upgrading. Everything else throughout was in fantastic condition. We did have a problem with the fridge malfunctioning and leaking water, which caused quite a problem, but the property manager responded immediately, and she and a handyman got there quickly to take care of it. Highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again.
