This listing is for ONE (1) of the cozy, two story mountain chalet at the Pines Resort, at Bass Lake. Convenient location just 17 miles from Yosemite's south gate with access to all resort amenities. Seasonal events, lakefront setting, two restaurants on-site, market and village shops.

Mountain chalet with a fully equipped kitchen on the entry level, that opens up to the living room with adjacent semi-private patio with bbq. Downstairs features one bedroom with 1 king bed and a bathroom.

Guest have access to the entire chalet as well as other Resort amenities: free wi-fi, free pool (seasonal May-Sep), outdoor Jacuzzi*, tennis courts (free), multiple hiking trails nearby.
Glice ( Artificial Ice) Rink is available from October through March at an additional cost.

Difficulty sleeping

Some rowdy neighbors setting off fireworks. Guest services mistakingly transferred a call to our chalet late night (someone calling the resort because they left an item). Someone had set the alarm on the clock for early morning.

Not Lake View

Property was good, except picture of view was nothing like the actual lake view, had to peek around trees to see lake. The step down to bedroom were too steep. No handicapped chalets per registration person.

Delightful

Delightful stay. It’s part of a resort that has some amazing amenities and restaurants. Dog friendly too! The surrounding city has good food options. South entrance to Yosemite is 30mins away. Would stay here again!

Nice place!

Cottage was cozy & neat. Needs a little more attention to detail when cleaning, though. The pet thing can be a issue. The first unit they gave us was connected to one with a dog that continuously barked! We asked to change cottages and they accommodated kindly. I feel they shouldn’t allow pets at all. People go on vacation to rest and relax. Even dog lovers don’t want to hear the continuous yippying of a dog in a connected unit! On more of a positive note—Bass Lake & Pines Resort is very convenient when the purpose of your stay is visiting Yosemite National Park!

AMAZING!!

I cant say enough about this place! Everything you need is right there. Amazing views. Amazing staff. Very clean. I loved everythung ablut our trip. And Skyler was an amazing help!
