71 Moorings is where you will find your beach "home away from home", where you can bring the family and friends to make memories you will treasure!

Natural light and views enhance the open design of this 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa, creating an indoor/outdoor feel as you can access the balconies from the living space and the bedrooms. The living area is perfect for game and movie nights with the gang and is open to the dining area where you can set up all the snacks and goodies! Don't worry about missing out on the fun if you have to be in the fully-equipped kitchen preparing meals. It's open to the dining and living areas so you can be a part of the action.

In addition to the guest bathroom in the common space, both bedrooms have full baths to accommodate everyone. The Primary suite with king bed and the guest bedroom with two queen beds are perfect for your family of 6. Plus, there is a sofa sleeper. These rooms, with balcony access and lovely views, are ideal for afternoon siestas and sweet dreams at night.

This villa is located in The Moorings complex, which is less than 150 steps to the beach. We have walked it ourselves and it's exactly 2 minutes! And the shared pool with large deck is great for lounging and soaking up the sun. The Dunes House Bar and Grill is located at the beach access point, and serves lunch and dinner seasonally. Across from the complex are the largest of Palmetto Dunes' tennis courts (available to reserve for a fee), and the bike trails are easily accessible to take you throughout Palmetto Dunes, as well as to Shelter Cove Marina and shopping.

No matter what your favorite leisure activity is on the island, this outstanding villa offers easy access. Book now!

Please Note: This villa is located up 3 flights of exterior stairs and has no elevator. 2 Palmetto Dunes gate passes are included in your booking. Each additional gate pass is $25.00/week, per vehicle. Steps from the Beach

We had a wonderful vaca…My dad and I recently stayed at this condo on Hilton Head Island. The location is truly ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything you might need. The unit was clean, and the linens were soft and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall.That said, a few considerations are worth noting for future guests. The condo is located on an upper level with quite a few stairs to climb, so it may not be the best fit for anyone with knee or hip concerns, or for older guests who may have difficulty navigating steps.While the space was well-kept, the second bedroom had notably low water pressure. Additionally, the Master bath, and 2nd bedroom bath lacked a functioning tub faucet—water only came through the showerhead. This could pose a challenge for families with young children who may need to fill the tub for a bath.In summary, the location is a standout and the condo offers a clean and comfortable stay. Just keep in mind the accessibility and plumbing quirks when booking, depending on your needs.We thank the owners for their hospitality..(this is Dad speaking). Loved the hospitality and property, my knees are shot I just can’t do the stairs as I used to.

Perfect beach condo

This condo looked just like the pictures. It was the perfect location to the beach. Short walk. We also were very close to the pool. Beds were comfy. Everything was prefect. We would love to rent this again!

Memorial Day Week

The property is just like it looks in the pictures, which is not always the case. I appreciate that the children's bedroom is essentially its own wing, giving separation from the living room and parents' bedroom we adults can still hang out without disturbing the kids. The Beach really is only a 3 or 4 minute walk, and we loved that the Dune's Beach House was right there for quick bites and drinks.

This property was in a perfect location! It was renovated beautifully and very comfortable. Host to coast left gifts for us including a beach bag! We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Great vacation place

The condo was close to the beach which was very convenient for beach walks and beach days. Everything was very clean and updated! We also loved the restaurants and the general store nearby. It was a memorable trip!

Great location!

My husband and I come to HH for beach walking, bike riding, golfing and playing pickle ball. This is the best location to do it all without having to drive and find parking. You also have easy access to the Dune House (our favorite) for lunch, dinner and cocktails and the General Store for a quick breakfast. The condo is updated especially compared to other places we stayed. There are stairs as it was the top floor but this was not an issue for us. We sat on the back deck in the morning for coffee and enjoyed the outdoors. We would stay again!

Sparkling clean

We vacation on HHI each year, always Palmetto Dunes. This property was sparkling clean!! Sadly, however, we felt at the Moorings we would not be up so boxed in. It’s always pleasant to enjoy a coffee or beverage on the porch and see something other than the back, sides, basically nothing but other condos. 71 Moorings does not offer any kind of picturesque beauty or tranquility. Lastly, the key code lock gave us nothing but trouble on our stay. We've waited as much as 30 minutes, waiting for it to work. I cannot tell you how disappointing that was for us. We have three key codes on our doors at home and never have this type of issue. I did text the agent, however, no response and that was a few days ago.

Culver stay

Moorings was ideal spot . Beach was super close. Only drawback was check in was a bit confusing going past property to the office. I would recommend this to all of my friends and family. You guys were great hosts.

Lovely condo!

Great condo! Great location! Close to beach, restaurants, shopping. Lots of recreational activities to enjoy. We did struggle a little with check in. Had a bit of a challenge finding real estate office to obtain parking pass. Once we arrived at condo the code we were given did not work. Took multiple phone calls to get through to someone to correct situation. Calls kept going to VM & VM box was full. We had a bit of a panic until we were able to get through. After that everything was awesome. Pictures online truly reflect condo appearance. We would be happy to return.

Relaxing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean and had a minimalist decor which was pleasant. The location was great- close to the beach and located in Palmetto Dunes which is a great community. There were a few deferred maintenance items like a broken shade in the bathroom, 2 of the slider doors locks didn't work. Kitchen supplies offered were the bare essentials. Host2coast was very responsive when we called them.We were wondering if the parking pass could be mailed to the renter especially if they arrive at night. Locating the office and the lock box was difficult and frustrating traveling onto the island in the dark.

Loved our stay and hope to return!

Location is excellent as we rode bikes on beach, walked the beach and/or read on the beach most days. But we also went to Pinkney Island Wildlife Refuge 4 times, kayaked 3 times, played pickleball numerous times and went to Mitchelville beach couple times, went to theater and Jazz Corner, visited Savannah. Location good for all that.
