VÄra tvÄ sovrum, tre bad radhus Àr 85 meter till stranden, och har utsikt över poolen pÄ plats. Det korta avstÄndet till stranden gör att du kan komma och gÄ till stranden för lÀsk, snacks, mÄltider etc. Hyresfastigheten Àr en del av ett litet komplex av radhus som ligger bakom en bevakad sÀkerhetsport. Vi har renoverat köket med klinkergolv, bÀnkskivor i granit och kaklat bakgrund, mattor vardagsrum och sovrum, kronformning, 3 renoverade badrum med marmor toppar och regelbundet nymÄlade Villa. Villan underhÄlls mycket ren, fullt möblerad inklusive tre TV-apparater, kabel, DVD och videobandspelare. TvÄ centrala luftkonditioneringssystem som inspekteras professionellt tvÄ gÄnger om Äret (vÄr och höst) för förebyggande underhÄll. Fastigheten underhÄlls av vÄr privata personal och extremt detaljerade stÀdpersonal vars Àgare inspekterar villan efter det att stÀdningen har slutförts. Best place to stay on the island

We just completed our 5th stay at Jim's place on hilton head and as always, it was great. You won't find a better location in relation to proximity to the ocean and the pool. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located and easy to get everywhere. Jim's place offers everything you need for a great, relaxing stay. We will be back for a 6th time in the future.

The Villa was very clean and was stocked with all the basics one might need. Location to beach and pool is great. James replied to questions quickly and provided suggestions as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Another great week at the beach

Easy rental process and great communications with the owner. Jim is very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. 2 minute walk to the beach and right next to the pool. Great for families. This is our second time staying at this property and one of the best deals we’ve found on Hilton Head Island.

The villa was exceptional. Location is the best in Palmetto Dunes--close to the beach and right at the pool. Unit was within walking distance to everything. (restaurants/hotels/and general store). Jim made the rental process very easy and efficient. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Cool ocean breezes in August

This has been our most enjoyable and relaxing vacation spot for the last 7 years. Living in South Carolina, it gets very hot in Aug. We found a over to Palmetto Dunes brings us cool ocean breezes that we don't get inland. The location is perfect. The unit is spacious and accommodating with updates waiting for us every year we return. The own gives great customer service and help with any question you may have. Looking forward to another August stay.

Wonderful Location!

We had a wonderful stay at Jim’s Villa. We love the beach and have two children, which equals a lot of stuff to take to the beach, so being just steps away from the beach was great! The villa was clean and spacious. The two bedrooms are separated so this unit would be ideal for families and two couples traveling together. We loved that we could play tennis and that the General Store was so close. We enjoyed daily bike rides and long days at the beach. The villa had everything we needed, including ample kitchen necessities. We will definitely come back!

Tremendous Location!

My family has been going to Hilton Head for years and always had a time share to stay until recently. We absolutely loved the condo we stayed at in Palmetto Dunes, within the Moorings. What an awesome location! A 1 minutes walk and you are on the beach or at the Dune House. What a joy to stay here, a balcony that overlooked the pool. And it was so nice and quiet, and so so convenient. So easy to get to and to all things we love to do, the places we love to go, like Shelter Cove and all the shops, boating, etc. And Jim made check in so easy and could not have been a more accommodating host. Highly recommend staying here, well worth it!

Family vacation, great place - fun time

We had a great trip to Hilton Head! I traveled with my family of 5 (3 kids ages 9, 7, and 4) in this rental, and after we booked, my parents decided they wanted to come too and I asked Jim if he knew of any other vacation rentals in the Moorings for the same week, and he put us in touch with a friend who my parents rented from as well! The place was great and we really liked Palmetto Dunes and the Moorings location. We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool. I also liked that we could walk to the Dunes house, the general store, tennis courts, etc. We had a great vacation and were sad to leave! We hope to return and I would stay in this rental again. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Great villa near the beach

We actually stayed in Jim's lovely villa in September last year (2015) as part of a road trip starting in Charleston and finishing in Fort Myers (FL). I've been meaning to write a review ever since! We only stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd been able to stay longer as we didn't really have a chance t fully explore the area. We loved being so close to the beach - just a minute's stroll . It was also an excellent base for visiting the outlet stores - something we English people love to do! Jim was a delight to deal with throughout the booking process. He offered loads of advice and recommendations for what to do and we're to eat during our stay. The villa was exactly as described - really comfortable and welcoming. Jim even called us on the day we arrived to make sure we'd made it there safely. We'd definitely like to come back and stay for longer next time.

The Moorings Unit 81-82

Jim's condo is excellent! Very clean and well equipped with every item you could need. He even has beach items in a storage area under the condo. Since it was too cold for swimming we didn't need the beach extras but they would be very convenient during warmer weather. The condo looked like it had been recently painted and was totally spotless. We have stayed in the The Moorings complex many times and this unit would be our favorite. Jim is very helpful with information provided before the visit on such items as local tennis/golf; any emergency maintenance issues; TV/DVR usage; Palmetto Dunes amenities; etc. We'll try to stay in Jim's unit for any future visits to Hilton Head.

We stayed at The Moorings from March 9 to April 6. The villa was the best accommodations we have had since we started visiting Hilton Head several years ago. It was a great location and close to everything. The villa was lovely - very spacious, clean and well decorated. Everything we needed was in the villa. It was a short walk to the beach and the Dunes restaurant on the beach. The General Store came in very handy especially when we forgot something at the grocery store. Thanks Jim for being so conscientious and caring and for sharing your lovely villa with us. We are returning next year and have already booked. P.S. Great Stay Close to the Beach

Our family booked this condo on relatively short notice. We had been non-committal about a vacation, since we already had to cancel a Spring Break trip to FL in April. After reading the positive reviews about Jim and his condo, this was the place we picked. While not a glamorous property, it was perfect for our family’s week at the beach! The space was good for me and my wife, plus our two teens and a friend. The place was well provisioned in the kitchen and there were beach toys if needed (we brought our own). The location was really unbeatable. We have stayed in Queens Grant and St. Andrews in the past, and the location of the Moorings was great for our trips to the beach. Given the pandemic, this is where we spent most of our time. Jim, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and was very detailed. I would recommend this condo to any small family looking for a place close to the beach!

Perfect location in Palmetto Dunes

Stay was wonderful, this condo is super close to the beach, pool and tennis courts. The owner was very communicative and very responsive to concerns. The set up of the condo is great especially a family with older children. Once you walk there is a foyer area where you can keep the beach stuff and drop shoes. You can then go in the left door that is the main area or right door that goes into the other bedroom). This way the older kids can have a truly separate space. We had a couple of issues but they were quickly resolved by the owner. The condo is a bit outdated but the beds are comfortable, A/C works well (2 zones, one for main side and one for the other bedroom.),and the fridge is very spacious and keeps everything cold. The decks overlook the pool which is nice so you can call down to your family that is already down there. Don’t need much more than that :)

Fabulous Vacation Spot

This was our first experience renting directly from an owner so I was skeptical but this was a great property with a very good owner. You can see that he cares about his property as it is well maintained. Jim very patiently answered all our questions. We have been staying in time shares for a number of years and this is, by far, the best equipped place we have ever stayed. The floor plan works out great, it is very roomy and the living room furniture is some of the most comfortable ever. I'd like to find out where he got the sofa and chairs! The Moorings area is very well-kept, the area around the condos is shady, we never had a hot car the whole week we were there. It truly is just 90 seconds to the beautiful, white sandy beach that is Hilton Head. We mostly cooked in but we did have hamburgers one evening at the Dunes House. We are very picky about our burgers and these were great, they cooked them on the grill on the deck. The area around the Dunes House always smelled terrific! If you want a great place to stay, pick this condo. Thanks for a great vacation Jim.
