This a very private duplex. Your host lives upstairs. Your's is a new two bedroom, one bath unit, with a full sized kitchen and adjoining dining area. . There is a large lanai viewing the ocean with plenty of relaxing chairs and an outside dining area.
You will be a 7 minute walk to Honl's beach and 22 minutes to downtown Kona.
Infants (persons two years and younger) are considered guests.

Best part of our trip

We LOVED this property! This was our probably 10th time on the island and we’ve stay so many different places. We all agreed this was by far our favorite spot. So relaxing and convenient and Jim was the most excellent host ever! Can’t wait to return next year!

Wonderful getaway on the Big Island

We had a fantastic stay at Jim’s apartment on the Kona coast. The amenities of the property were as listed, and made for a very comfortable stay for our family of three adults staying on the Big Island. We especially enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the outdoor patio, and the spacious yard. Jim was a fantastic host, with great communication and was easily accessible as needed. I would recommend to any friends, and hope to be able to stay again.on a future visit to Hawaii!

Fantastic property

Great location for a quick overnight stay. Checking in was quick and easy. Accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed. There is even a free roaming chicken that came to visit. We would stay again.

Excellent location. Overnight parking for two cars but a third car can tandem park to visit

This is our second consecutive rental. I’ve met the owner who is helpful.

Perfect!

Jim’s place was perfect for our week vacation! The view, the space, the amenities and location were perfect. I would stay here again! My teenage boys enjoyed it too!

Better than imagined

Jim was a beyond welcoming host- he met us after unloading our car and showed us all around the property. It’s well-stocked with beach gear and towels. The kitchen was fun to cook in and Jim had all of the necessary equipment on hand. The outdoor shower was a dream come true. My only regrets are not staying longer and forgetting to leave a six pack formUim :)

Our group of four were floored by this residence: the host greeted us and what an extraordinarily beautiful home upon entering! Very spacious and a convenient location. Will definitely choose this place again!

Excellent!

Loved staying at Kimo's. The home is clean and comfortable with nice extras such as snorkeling gear, location walkable to downtown Kona, and we saw whales from the lanai! Gorgeous sunsets, also. We would stay here again.
