Sunrise & Shine in this Large Home with 2 Master Suites, WiFi, Kayaks and more!

Are you ready to relax right on the water in a spacious 3,300+ sqft, beautifully renovated lake house with all of the comforts of home?

This home has four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms are both master suites each with a private deck. The remaining two bedrooms are downstairs. The living room has accordion doors which opens the entire area up to the new 700 sqft deck overlooking the lake. On the deck you will find the propane grill and picnic table with umbrella. There is also a stone fire pit/grill, corn hole, horse shoes, two fishing kayaks, and easy access to the water via a staircase into the lake. Our cove is a great place for the little ones to swim without the worry of being in the open water. On the boat house is another deck complete with remote deck lights. It is a great way to catch some extra sun or end a beautiful evening with a glass of wine and some good friends.

The home is located in the Arnold Hills, a quiet, reserved neighborhood on the west side of Cedar Creek Lake. It is less than an hour from downtown Dallas and an hour and 20 minutes from almost any other location in DFW. The home is centrally located to restaurants, shopping and other attractions located in and near Gun Barrell City, Canton, and Seven Points. If you need a quick, amazing getaway, this is it!

Great for a family gathering

Booked this property to celebrate our dad's 60th birthday - our family included 9 adults,1 child and 2 dogs. We enjoyed how spacious the house was and that it included FOUR FULL BATHROOMS! The rooming situation is a bit tight, with only 3 private rooms and 1 room with 2 bunk beds - there's plenty of pull out couches everywhere but if everyone wants privacy in your group this may present a challenge. The kitchen and dining set up was great, plenty of room and utensils for big meals. The hot tub and firepit were also great for hanging out and chatting. It would have been better if we were able to dock our boat in the boat dock - we ended up just tying off of the dock/against the retaining wall which did scuff the boat a little on the last day (but obviously a risk we were willing to take to not have to take the boat in and out each time). The host was very nice and accommodating (when they responded). There was a notable lack of communication during and after booking that left our group uneasy, but the host was apologetic and accommodating. I'm sure they might have had other things going on that prevented them from answering or responding to calls/texts/VRBO messages. Overall, a fantastic time. The hosts really were very nice and accommodating. We would recommend and likely book this property again. Thank you Kevin!!! :)

Evening view on the lake is gorgeous!

Beautiful home! There were some things that needed some maintenance but the one thing that we needed to be fixed was handled immediately!! The view from the deck at night is awesome!! It was still hot when we stayed, but the breeze off the water was great and kept us cool.

Beautiful home

We loved this property. We selected this home because of the space it provided. Tool is home for my parents and we just lost my dad and brought him back home to spread and bury his ashes in the Tool cemetery, this home allowed us to be together as a family and celebrate his life. I am so very thankful for the time that we spent there.

Great location, especially kids

Smooth in and out. Plenty of space. Great yard and the location on the inlet is ideal for young kids to swim as the direct face to the lake would have been very choppy for children to swim in

Beautiful home & great fishing

We were fortunate enough to be their first Vrbo booking!! We loved all of the space in the kitchen, eating, family room area. Lots of comfortable places to sit and look out the wall of windows. Lots of fish were caught from the lower level of the dock while lots of laughs were enjoyed on the upper level. I’ll be honest, we had a couple of hiccups. But the owners could not have been more communicative or hospitable! They were eager to ensure that we had a great experience in their home. We look forward to staying again.
