A perfect FL condo

The condo is on the 4th floor corner unit that feels very private. On the beach! Great pool with plenty of lounge chairs. The views of the beach are wonderful, there is lots of turtle and bunny activity to entertain right below the balcony. The condo is beautifully appointed, kitchen offers every appliance, dish, glass or utencil you could want, it's very tastefully decorated, lovely bedding and soft towels. We wanted for nothing!!

Spring Break 2013

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful condo!! First of all, it was nicely decorated, very well stocked with everything You need and desire while away from home. The views were Gorgeous....great spot next to Ritz. Saw dolphins every day! We appreciated all of these things more than you know, since we had record low temps for a few days the week we were there! (Would have loved a heated pool or outdoor hottub!) Although if temps were normal...water would have been plenty Warm from the sun. Started the week off with a rain storm and power outage, but of course they had all you needed: candles, lighter, flashlights and battery Backup wifi so kiddos could still watch a movie on the iPad. Very easy access to the beach. Nice and clean....Will definitely revisit!!!!!

Stay at 16 Ocean Place

The stay was great and we will rent this again, but the unit needs some repairs. Here are some of the items: 1. The washer did not always work 2. The shower heads in the master bath are clogged up 3. The lights in the master bath shower do not all work 4. The toilet paper holder falls out of its bracket in the master bathroom 5. The RH sink in the master bathroom has low pressure and sprays 6. The faucets in the front bedroom are loose 7. The spray head in the kitchen sink will not stay up, missing a locking screw 8. Curtain rod in Living Room is loose on LH side

Good physical location with a few things lacking

The floor plan and physical location were great, loved being next to the Ritz and beautiful view of the ocean, great deck. However, for this type of rental, I was disappointed in a few things: no toaster (or cookie sheet), would not consider it a fully loaded kitchen (but enough to get by), several pillow choices, but no extra pillow cases, the mattress pad and some of the pillows were stained and old (need replacing), barely enough paper products to last for 2 days.

Don't say it comes with beach chairs, only a small child could use them. Towels need replacing, paper thin. Kitchen is very well appointed, you won't need a thing.

Beautifully decorated condo right on the water with plenty of space to spread out. Plus it's an end unit so the balcony is extra big! We loved our stay and Mock's was great to deal with.

Front door punch lock didn't work or the new one that was installed. Light switch for kitchen overhead light is electrical hazard (replace). Checked out at 9:00 am. Cleaning staff was there & began.

Best unit in Ocean Place!

Three of us go to Amelia Island every quarter. We've stayed in numerous units in Ocean Place and this one is by far the best!! Beautifully refurbished. Looks better than the pictures. Perfect location on the 4th floor overlooking the ocean. Best of all is Mocks Amelia Island Vacations. We travel a lot and almost always go through VRBO. I've never experienced the level of professionalism as evidenced by Mocks. Phenomenal communication and they have a state of the art communication system. We've already booked this unit for August and December. Enough said!

Paradise

Our stay at Ocean Place # 16 was a exceptional. It was roomy, clean and beautifully decorated with a spectacular ocean view from the very roomy corner balcony. The 2 pools are of ample size and very clean OP16 has a closet with many beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon. No details were left out to ensure a wonderful stay. The Ritz Carlton is right next door which is convenient for a dinner or cocktail. We truly enjoyed dinner and sightseeing in the Historic Downtown where we also took a boat tour to Cumberland Island; a must do. We were 4 adults and we all had a fabulous time. I will suggest to purchase extra paper towels, TP and laundry pods. We went to Publix just a few minutes away where we also purchased other essentials food items. Do not hesitate staying here. You will not be disappointed.
