Island View Beach House is located in beautiful Hollywood Beach, often described as a Southern California Coastal hidden gem. The vacation home is right is the heart of a friendly, laid back neighborhood. Located 100 yards from the beach on the corner of Sunset and La Brea with expansive views of the ocean, islands, and mountains.

The spacious master bedroom on the first floor has a Select Comfort Sleep Number queen size bed with a memory foam. The room also has a smart TV, lots of storage space and a walk-in closet. A sliding glass door leads to a private patio. The bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a jetted tub.

There is a utility room on the first floor which contains a washer, dryer and additional storage.

The 2nd floor has an open living concept that combines the kitchen, dining, and living room.
The kitchen has a view of Anacapa Island as well as the breaking waves where you can watch the surfers.
The kitchen consists of modern appliances including an Advantium oven, gas cooktop, gas convection oven, instant pot, and Cuisinart emersion blender.
Soft water for your laundry and showers as well as a reverse osmosis provides delicious drinking water.

There are 2 indoor dinning areas. A dining table which can expand to seat 6 people and a bar counter top that seats 4.

One of our favorite features of this house is the outdoor balcony with seating for 4 where you can enjoy morning coffee or happy hour while viewing the islands and beach life.

The living room has a Smart TV with Roku installed to allow access to your favorite streaming apps. (Netflix, Prime video, Hulu, Disney, etc.…) There are also multiple free apps available including Pluto, Tubi, YouTube, ABC, NBC etc.…

The living room has Lazy boy adjustable sofa, loveseat and single recliners. A pullout queen bed is also available.

The 2nd floor has a full bath with 2 sinks.

The spare room has a built-in closet and ceiling fan

The second bedroom has a full-size bed and an office desk and chair. It also has a smart TV with Roku. A sliding glass door leads to the stairs and a large rooftop open air lounge.

The rooftop lounge offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and peak a boo views of the ocean and islands. Ricker cushion patio set, lounge chairs. You can listen to seals barking and waves breaking.

An outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Many of our neighbors use the garage or driveway as an outdoor patio. Table, chairs, full size refrigerator and a BBQ are located in the garage for your use.

Beach toys is available for your use, surfboard, boogie board, beach tent, umbrellas, chairs and a cart to transport everything you need to the beach.

Nearby features:
The Channel Island Harbor hosts a farmer's market on Sunday.
Many local bars and restaurants within walking distance and feature seafood, pizza and barbeque.
Fishing charters, jet ski rental, stand up paddle board rental, kayak rental, small boat rental, bicycle rentals are available within walking distance.
Surf fishing is also popular.

An outstanding location and property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this location two years in a row and plan to do it every year. Outstanding location, just steps to the beach. The property is very clean, well kept, and has ample space. The outdoor balcony with seats is the best part. We ate every meal on the balcony, with an ocean view!!! Excellent stay.

Cute place

Great beach access, and also walking distance to Hollywood Beach cafe, the Channel Islands harbor shops and the Sunday Channel Islands farmers market. We stay at this beach at least once a year, sometimes more, and this location is really prime. Very clean, everything worked, great stock of beach toys and stuff in the garage.

Great Get Away!

Perfect location to shopping & restaurants. Steps to the beach. The home was was lovely & comfy. Great kitchen with supplies for cooking. Bikes and lots of beach supplies for sand castle building and sitting in the sun.

Excellent location we hope to return!

Excellent location. The property and house are better in person than in the photos. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. Great for relaxing and listening to the ocean. It is literally just seconds from the beach. Most of the neighbors are full time but very friendly. We had two children with us who are well behaved but still kids. No one minded their playing. We hope to stay here again!
