Kauai Visit

The property location left a lot to be desired. Located next to a busy road and service station. The pictures on-line only showed the views from the back deck overlooking the beach. The property was clean.

Chill Home Base to explore Kauai

It was our first time in Kauai, so we weren't sure where to stay, and this condo was perfect. We rented a car and did day trips to Hanalei, Poipu, Waimea canyon, and plenty of local beaches from this convenient spot, then came back and relaxed with the great ocean view on the lanai.

Tropical romantic

We had a great time in this condo. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, interior is Hawaii beautiful with all the furniture and surroundings. Stay was wonderful

July 1 to 11 Stay

Loved the view overlooking the ocean and loved the sound of the ocean. Convenient location for grocery store etc. Enjoyed watching local surfers. Not too many tourist visitors to the beach, which we liked.

Excellent view accompanied with the sound of the waves.

If you're looking for a picturesque view. Book it. With the back door open and the front window open. The breeze is amazing! All the amenities you'll need for your stay are there. There is a bit of road noise, but close the bedroom window at night. All is good.

Great view and location

We loved this place. Beach next door is great for morning sunrises. Lanai offered wonderful view of the ocean. We saw whales and sea turtles swim by. The condo catches the prevailing breeze and we didn't use the a/c much. Location is close but not to airport too close to the airport, and all tsightseeing.

Liked the location, however eyesores next to property and loud street noise were not welcomed. Loved the central location, cleanness of condo and pool access.

Everything was above and beyond! From the little touches of backpack chairs with suntan lotion and hats, to the friendliness of Mark the property manager, everything was just wonderful!

The kitchen and bathroom were very nice and the new. The carpet was pretty undesirable. There is not central air. This should be listed in the description. There is a small, old pool. The location is very loud and wakes you up early in the morning. The ocean is right there, but not clearest.

Loved It.

Perfect couple getaway. Room was clean. Close access to the beach and it was super clean. Management was awesome to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It was located in the middle of the north and south side of the island, so trips to those areas were easy. Not a lot of people everywhere. Excellent vacation.

Beautiful Beach Front Condo

The condo was very nicely decorated and furnished and well stocked with pots & pans, dishes and utensils plus beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, even an ice chest. The location was excellent with an awesome view of Wailua Bay and close to shopping and restaurants. The entire facility is very well maintained and secure with video surveillance cameras. Cindy at Premier Kauai Vacation Rentals (Management Company) was extremely helpful in arraigning our early check-in and activating a new door code. We loved our stay!

Great Location

This unit is very clean, comfortable, and has a great view of the Lanai. The bed is VERY comfortable. My husband was totally intrigued with the history of the property next door. It's so sad to see some properties still in bad shape from a hurricane in the early 90's. Waimea Canyon is a MUST SEE. Poipu was very nice to the South. The beaches and quaint towns to the North are a treat. We spent a couple days watching the surfing that was going on. Just a perfect vacation.

Exactly as advertised

The place was great and clean, and the location was better than expected with a lot of businesses close and easy to walk to. Passion Cafe just across the street was great for breakfast, and Lava Lava Beach Club a short walk away felt like a hidden gem even though it was on a resort. It’s a shame that the property next door, which is in the front of the view from the lanai, is so rundown and overgrown, but someone was there chopping down weeds during our stay so hopefully that will change. Looked like it was a nice beach club long ago.

Just like home - but Hawaii!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The big sell for us was the lanai overlooking the beach. Just perfect. The place is clean enough and had everything we needed. It's a little lived-in, which actually made it all the more conducive to relaxing, just like home. The pool is nice. We grilled one night in the area next to it, and we enjoyed some swimming and lounging. The location is ideal, being centrally located with access to many beaches north, south and in-between. There are shops and such walkably nearby. We did have two minor issues - I emailed the property manager and got no response. (The guy who manages the outside was around and attentive - appreciated him.) We'd return for sure!

The short of it

Overall nice property, typical of Kauai's vacation rental apartments we've stayed at the past 20 years. All in all, a good property for two adults that can handle 3rd floor stairs for a week in Kauai and within walking distance to everything. But.... Portable air conditioner's compressor in Bedroom was cutting out before reaching desired temperature and there was no air conditioning in Living room (It was humid and hot for a mid November stay) and the two ceiling fans in unit are undersized for the job they had to do. Note: This unit overlooks the homeless beach..... but their activities were quite entertaining to say the least. Regards.

Amazing views from the balcony every morning & evening! 2nd time we’ve stayed here, awesome communication with host! Beautiful View

We loved the lanai and even saw humpbacks and turtles while sitting out there! The central location was perfect for us and we appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle of resort areas.

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our one week stay at this property. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was particularly well-stocked, much better than most rentals, with all the utensils, appliances, etc that one might need. There were beach towels and beach chairs that were great to have. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient for travel to both the south and north of the island - as first-time visitors, that worked well for us. There are also a lot of great restaurants and good shopping nearby, as well as beaches within walking distance, and it is close to the Wailua River and Lydgate Beach, which was one of only a couple of beaches that were safe for snorkeling when we were there. The ocean view is nice and in the living area the sound of waves drowns out the noise from the highway, which passes very close to the condo. In the bedroom, the street noise can be loud, earplugs were essential for me. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom only - it kept the room a comfortable temp on warm days, but was noisy. Fortunately, it was cool enough in December that we didn't always need it. There are fans in both the living and bedroom. I was disappointed that the pool was uncomfortably cold. The whole time we were there I never saw anyone using it, and I certainly didn't. Despite that, the condo was a well-located, nicely-appointed home base for exploring the island.

Beautiful view

The view is amazing. Everything was clean and well stocked. The location is great for walking to shopping/food/entertainment. Con’s Master is nothing special dark and small. I personally would have preferred the view from the master bedroom, but still the bed was comfortable and such just not romantic if those are the vibes you’re looking for. Also no full length mirror was disappointing. That’s an easy upgrade I think most woman would appreciate! Overall a great little place on the most beautiful island. I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Vacation Home & Amazing Property Management

The property we booked was still undergoing renovations a couple days before we were to arrive, The property manager, Cindy, reached out to let us know that though the condo we booked was not quite ready for our arrival- she kindly booked us into another nearby condo just steps away from the one originally chosen. It was a wonderful alternative, close to the original location and was a definite upgrade. Big thanks to Cindy for finding a beautiful alternative so quickly and for making our visit stress free despite the last minute change!
