Beautiful view from the Lani! Even though the unit is close to a major street there was no road noise in the bedroom. The unit was well stocked, clean, and comfortable! We would stay again!

beautiful views!

Stayed for 5 days in this beautiful condo! The views are what I envisioned when I pictured Kauai! It was centrally located to both the north shore area and all the fun communities to the south. Will definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was well equipped and clean. The only problems was trying to turn south bound onto the main road and poor condition of the historic building next to the condo. The condo property doesn't have any control of this. Was told it has been a ten year on going dispute.

Street, highway noise was overwelming. right next to the highway. also, fan, AC noise from unit above, or below,ornextdoor was constant and annoying. view was nice, but when slider to balcony was open, noise level from traffic was bad.

The bed was comfortable, and you cannot beat the tranquility of hearing the waves crashing on the beach. Everything about our stay met or exceeded our expectations.

Nice View, Loud traffic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean and in good shape. The bedroom was warm but did have a fan. The view was very nice but it is close to the main road and there is very loud traffic all day and night.

The bedroom has air conditioning! You can close the bedroom windows at night...though when you close the bedroom door to run the AC, you won't hear the wonderful sounds of the surf. It's very soothing.

Mediocre place

The condo was clean except all carpets were filthy. The garbage disposal ran water from the bottom the day after we arrived. We cleaned up the water & put a pan under it & it was never fixed. It was wonderful having a washer & dryer.

The carpets do need cleaning...however we're about to close the unit for a month to remodel the kitchen and didn't want to have them cleaned BEFORE construction. Maintenance checked the garbage disposal, found it in good working order, and could not replicate the leak. We're so sorry these things apparently had such a major impact on your rating of this lovely apartment.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view of Wailua Bay is absolutely stunning. While there was a lot of road noise during the day, it did not prevent us from getting a good nights rest. When I return to Kauai I would definitely stay at this resort again, but would try to stay at the other side of the complex which is further from the main highway. The ac unit in the bedroom was old and very noisy, but was never needed. I would have preferred more comfortable chairs on the lanai. The 4 high top dining chairs were nice while having a meal, but were not comfortable for long periods of time enjoying the fantastic view. All in all a very enjoyable 10 days and would definitely return

Condo with a view

The view at this condo is amazing!! My husband and I sat on the porch every night and listened to the waves and watched for whales. The condo was very quiet, I do not remember hearing anyone else in the complex. We did enjoy having the air conditioning that looked new in the living room. Some nights were pretty warm when we returned from our days adventure. I loved the location as it was central to everything we wanted to do. Close to everything we needed. I was really impressed with the communication process. I was contacted multiple times with reminders and suggestions. Not once did I question what I needed to do or where to go. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. There was plenty of towels and laundry supplies also. Parking was also never a problem when we came home each night. I would for sure stay here again if we ever returned to Kauai!!

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Hawaii. We stayed from April 17 - April 24th. We had a couple raining days but other than that the weather was perfect. The host supplied beach towels chairs, umbrellas and boggy boards. The rental was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. They had supplied us with a couple of snacks that were appreciated after a very long flight. Everything worked as it should, no issues with the appliances. You could tell the couch was a little worn but still very comfortable. The VIEW was incredible! The beach closest to our condo we didn't swim in. It was dirty with typical ocean debris. There was a homeless man on the beach but fear not, he was a wonderful man who taught me and my husband how to tie a blood knot and some fishing hacks. I would stay in this condo again in hopes I would get to see him. You are next to a highway/main road but I never noticed it once in the evening hours. If you want a tourist spot I would stay on the North side of the island. This area was a little quieter. The unit has an AC window unit in the bedroom. It worked well for us my husband's only complaint is that it's loud. I would stay here again, it was my little heaven.

This is a wonderful place to stay that is centrally located on the island with about equal drive times to either the south or north shores. The view from the lanai is beautiful and the property is clean and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

overall Clean and updated. The location is central so that is great for seeing other areas of the Island.Issues with both living room and bedroom AC units. The living room unit never blew cool air during our stay. Bedroom unit was slightly better but got very warm at night. We resorted to opening patio door and windows to catch breeze and that with the ceiling fans made it more comfortable. Tried texting mgmt company about the AC but never got a reply

Perfect Paradise Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo view was breathtaking. Air conditioning did not work. When we contacted the property manager we were told the air conditioning had stopped with the last renter and maintenance was unable to fix it before our stay. One of the main reasons I chose this rental property was because it had air conditioning. Opening the balcony door and windows brought a breeze through the condo that made it a little better. We used a fan in the bedroom to help move the air as well. The condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciate the snacks and toiletry items that were provided.Acquiring the parking pass was a bit confusing. There is no one in the office on duty so I had to contact management to get directions on getting the parking pass. The short walk to the beach takes you down a sidewalk by the street and the old Seashell Restaurant. I found the history for this building fascinating.Our condo balcony was my happy place. It was a lovely stay despite no air conditioning.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was fine, except for the temperature. The bedroom has ac, but that’s it. Normally that’s fine with the wind coming in from the ocean, but the way this building is set up, this unit misses all the wind. There are multiple fans around and we cranked them all up whenever we were in the condo. It was just moving hot air around though. We ended up finding a different place to stay after two nights.

Normally the trade winds blow through very nicely. When the winds switch to kona, or when they die down which occasionally happens, it's hot. Hot everywhere. We greatly prefer it when the trades are blowing!

Beautiful Place

The stairs up to the 3rd floor are arduous. The maid was still cleaning when we arrived. The maid [supervisor] could not get the door code to work so we sat on the stairs and sat and sat. Could not get thru to anyone for wi-fi codes--finally got a call back, Finally the maid learned the trick to the door code and in we went, Awesome view of the ocean. Interesting watching the homeless who were camped on the beach next door building bonfires, arguing and ranting,, Again, the stairs are KILLER. Really appreciated the laundry and all the kitchen perks. Slept like logs--very good bed and very quiet. Would we stay here again? Perhaps on a ground floor rental. The manager is a super nice guy: so positive and accomodating. Traffic along Kuhio is bumper-to-bumper 8AM-4 ish road construction.

You're right, it's a great bed! The door lock has been replaced with one that is not so finicky, the road work project that was causing huge traffic jams has completed. The homeless encampment next door has been completely cleared out. All very positive changes :-)

AC in bedroom was loud but worked well. Beach access is close and pool area nice. Only down side is noise, you can hear highway noise at night and early morning.
