Great house in a great location! Came down with my sister and dog to celebrate my birthday over the weekend. House was comfortable and spacious, bathroom was good (except no hot water from the bathroom sink, great hot water from shower and kitchen), kitchen had plenty of space. Liked that there was both a regular coffeemaker and Keurig. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels provided. Gate at the top of the stairs to the deck was awesome to keep my pup from running off unattended. View of the water from the deck, easy walk to beach, although we did purchase a beach pass (10) to make it easier. Close to a few restaurants, and of course The Big Store! Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful home with so many areas to hang out! Large front porch upper lever and covered patio with picnic table lower level. Wonderful place to build memories with the family. A drive to the beach, (so close) a trip to Galveston and wouldn’t be complete without a little shell soup (see pic) Thanks for a great time! Loved your home! We will stay again!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, and just a short walk or quick golf cart ride away from the beach. The stairs are not steep, so carrying luggage and groceries was not difficult. The property is very clean and furnished with all the necessities we needed. Close to the grocery store, gas, and other shops. A good supply of nice beach toys was available for my granddaughter to borrow. The only suggestion is a stool for the little ones to wash their hands and brush their teeth. There may have been one available, and I just missed it. (No big deal, just picked up one at the store - problem solved.) Great hosts and had a wonderful week.

Nice place to visit!

We arrived 3 hours early and the host was great at letting us in early which was so much appreciated and the host was quick to respond to my communication. My only suggestion would be to have beach towels at the house as we arrived from out of state and didn't think about that so we quickly went through the house towels. Crystal Beach is beautiful but it's very slow living, there was not a lot to do there except go to the beach, drink, and eat. A great place to just relax. We did take the Ferry over to Galveston to shop and see the Pier. It was especially hot and humid in July so if we come back, it will be during the fall or spring. Overall it was a good time.

5 Stars, Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had such a great time at Sandy Blue Heaven! The cabin was super clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family, including the dogs. It’s hard to find truly dog-friendly places, but this one nailed it, our pups loved hanging out on the large deck with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax.The location is great, just a short walk to the beach, which made it super convenient for morning and evening strolls. Everything was exactly as described. Just a heads-up, don’t forget to bring your own bath soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, but that’s no big deal. Everything else was smooth and hassle-free.Thanks so much Jake and Kortney for a great stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Hot water

A very clean and comfortable cottage. My only complaint is that there was no hot water to the bathroom sink. The shower and the kitchen sink had no problem with getting hot water, only the bathroom sink.

Great place within walking distance to the beach

Not all houses have a view of the coast in the peninsula. This one has a nice view from the deck. Also nice that there is an upstairs away from the main floor for kids to hangout in. Loved that they had 3 beach chairs and sand toys that was a nice touch. Pictures were spot on for this place so no surprises. Host would respond almost immediately. And also just checked in to see all was going ok. I thought they were caring and would be quick to respond if you had issues. We didn’t have any. There is a blink camera at the entrance door. But it didn’t appear that they paid much attention to it.
