Find all of the peace of small town life in this 1937 restored bungalow in the heart of Morton Illinois. This inviting home is a cozy relaxing retreat. Ideally located within walking distance to several restaurants, bars, parks, coffee shops, and bike trails. Hard wood floors and tiled kitchen/bathroom. The kitchen features a coffee bar. Newly remolded upstairs has 1 bedroom with 2 full beds and an entertainment room with 50" HD TV. Main floor features 2 bedrooms with queen beds each. Full basement with washer and dryer/ironing. Grill and full patio set for outdoor fun. Private Backyard. Garage for small car. Whole home air purifier system installed June 26, 2021. Brand new AC unit installed June 26, 2021. New Stand alone AC unit installed upstairs bedroom. There is one full bathroom recentky remolded in the main floor.

In June 2021, Filming for Morton’s only movie, Baking up Love, took place during Mid June at Charm On Clifton. We were honored to have filming at our place to help our community in Morton! A big Thanks to Candice Cain (director) for choosing our home to film! Look for the Movie in fall 2021!

Our house and decorations are not designed for young toddlers or infants. Please be aware of these limitations before you book.

New Air Hockey table and 6 person game table added to basement summer of 2021.

In October of 2021 we added a 6 person game table in the basement for playing cards etc.

We added a Ninja Blender in late October 2021

A Fuse Ball table was added spring of 2022

A frisbee disc golf basket was added to the back yard July 2022.

The house was the perfect set up for me and my boyfriend and my parents to enjoy a quick stay for my daughter’s wedding in Mackinaw,IL. The upstairs was a good set up for my adopted daughter and her young child to hang out.

We unfortunately did not spend much time there, but it was a nice place. You might want to clean out the p-trap in the bathroom sink as it did not drain properly. Otherwise great!

Cute house!!

We spent 3 nights in town for a family wedding and wanted a place where we could “hang out” in our down time other than a hotel room. This was the perfect place for that. We enjoyed the air hockey and foosball tables as well as the comfortable beds. The communication from the host was great and check in and check out was as smooth as it could be. The house is nicely located in Morton and is close to just about anywhere in town you might want to go. The kitchen was stocked with some basic dishes/cups/silverware which is always appreciated! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Outstanding

Wonderful property, just as advertised. The house was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a lovely stay while in town visiting family. The game room downstairs is a great feature, as the kids loved playing the air hockey table and foosball, and the backyard was a great spot for some croquet and gathering on the patio. The check-in/entry process was easy, and Shawn was responsive to the questions we had on arrival. All in all, an outstanding experience. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Clean and comfortable

This house is great. Very clean, had everything we needed, is in a nice and safe neighborhood, good parking, and more. I struggled a bit with the lock the first time trying to get in and the hardwood floors squeak A LOT, but those were minor nuisances in a sea of major bonuses. It couldn't have been any cleaner, the beds were comfy, there were plenty of nice towels, the neighborhood was quiet, there are several restaurants and parks in easy walking distance, and Shawn was quick to respond to my messages. We will gladly stay there again if we return to Peoria.

Comfortable stay in Morton

The house comfortably slept 5 adults. The window air conditioner on the second floor made the room cool and comfortable in the 90 degree heat. We appreciated the thoughtful touches in the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels. The ktichen was also well stocked with glasses, dishware, utensils, pots, pans etc. We would definitely stay here again.

In town for a family wedding

This was the perfect place for our very quick trip. We had enough room for our daughters and young grandkids to have 2 rooms and my husband and I to have our own room. The kids loved the game room, and being 2 blocks from an ice cream place. For just a little bit more than a hotel room it was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Great stay and location

I ran the Potawatomi 100 mile race at McNaughton park. It’s about 14 minutes from this residence. It was very easy for my family to drive from the race and back to the Vrbo between my 10 loops. Everything was clean. Only issue I had was I needed to sleep the night before the race and the floors outside the bathroom are rather squeaky. But, I’m sure a lot of properties are like this in this area as it is an old but beautiful town.

We have stayed at this property on two different occasions. The location is great. The owners communicate wonderfully. The house is adorable, clean, and was perfect for what we needed. We highly recommend staying at Charm on Clifton.

Conference trip

Comforts of Home

The Home was just as described, with all the amenities of home. Great location for our needs, very comfortable bed and pleasant shower. The kitchen had all that we needed, as we enjoy cooking local farmers market foods. Hope to make this home our stay for our annual visit.

Cute house!

Very cute house, and I’m extremely impressed with how clean it was. Loved the game room in the basement and plenty of room for our family. Only complaint is the floor is VERY creaky. We could not leave the room our 1 year old was sleeping in without waking him up because the floor creaked so much. But overall, very happy with our stay.

Great stay!

Love this little bungalow! O had everything we needed and wanted. We walked around downtown Morton and got some pizza after arriving late. I enjoyed sitting outside on the little patio in the mornings.

Great weekend stay

Property was very nice!! Plenty of space for kids and adults. Game room in the basement was great of the kids!! They even played in the fenced back yard in December and we visited the small park up the street. Location was great-quiet neighborhood close to East Peoria and Peoria for more things to do. Would definately come again wehn we meet up woth family. Only advice if you have 5-6 people staying...bring some disposable spoons!! There were only 5 spoons in thr house so we kept having to wash them after every use!
