Perfectly situated for walks to town or beach, this 2 BR/2BA condo is a great home base for a Lewes getaway. 500 square feet unit in former motel; renovated kitchen; balcony with loveseat from which to watch boats and sunsets. Queen bed in master; two twins in 2nd bedroom. Wifi, kitchen basics, two beach chairs with umbrella all in unit. Community pool and coin-operated laundry on 2nd floor. NOTE that sheets & towels are NOT provided and there is NOT a TV in the unit.

Great vacation spot

We had a great time. It was so close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a nice spot too. The condo is not large but had all the necessities. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the boats on the canal.

It's small and simple, but comfortable with a deck overlooking the canal and a great view of the sunset. It would have been helpful if the owner had told us that we needed to bring towels, sheets, and even soap.

The view off the back deck can't be beat. A short walk to the charming town, or the beach. We had a relaxing, beautiful week.

Planned to spend memorial weekend but had to leave the day after I arrived Andrea was very quick to refund me and I wasn’t expecting that but it was very much appreciated Love staying on the canal and it’s beautiful views

Perfect Lewes base camp!

Loved this place! So relaxing to soak up the breezes and watch the boats and sunset from deck right off canal; so convenient to walk to canal-fronts restaurants, boat trips, bike rentals, downtown restaurants and shops! Rode our bikes and ran to beach, ferry, state park! Andrea was amazing and helped us get a partial refund when we had to leave early due to sickness in the family. We had everything we needed for a wonderful Lewes escape!

Loved the balcony.

This was a sweet location on the marina/waterway. The balcony was a lovely spot to spend our early mornings and evenings. During a rainstorm we were undercover and even that was quite lovely. This Home has some sweet features and cute interior design, but it could use some bathroom updates, the musty smell should be addressed and a very deep cleaning would be helpful. host was responsive, and the on site property manager was very responsive and very resourceful in getting a locked door in the storage closet open. The new pool was not available for our stay, but it is very close to being opened and would be a great addition to a stay at this property if we would choose to return.

Perfect Location!

Easy check in. Unit was clean and well stocked. Peaceful balcony with great views. Comfortable bedding. Walking distance to two excellent restaurants. Beach approximately 5-6 blocks walking. Ideal for 4 persons. Short driving distance to many restaurants and abundant shopping. Stay at laid back Lewes and reach all the excitement you need in minutes. Andrea was an excellent host and is adding the only thing that is missing. A TV! Thank you Andrea for a delightful stay. Ken.

Really great getaway

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. We both love that it’s right on the marina a few blocks from the beach, and an extremely short walk into town. The new deck is fantastic, and it’s just a cozy little place to relax

Great location, but musty odor

This condo is located within a short walk to town and the beach. The reason for the average rating is that is smelled musty and the furniture could have been improved. Sleep 4 but no table for eating, poor patio furniture as well. So clean and great location but furniture and musty odor were poor.

Lovely Lewes- Awesome spot!

This was our 2nd time staying here! The outside of the property has been totally remodeled which was a huge upgrade from last year! This location can't be beat...peaceful and beautiful view, close to everything!!👍 The inside was is cute and beds are mostly comfortable but cleanliness needs attention! More thorough cleaning needed which is same as last year, so may be time for a new cleaning person! Updates of showers and flooring in bathrooms needed. New rugs at minimum! Kitchen is nicely upgraded, but needs cleaned better... some drawers had dirt and some new pans would be good! Andrea is nice to work with and allowed an early check-in which we appreciated! Would stay again since place has beautiful view, is perfect location, and Andrea is good to work with!

Dirty and smelly. Whole place needs an update.

Spent the whole first day scrubbing the floors, counters, and cabinets. Furniture is dated and dirty. Overwhelming musty smell and everything was always damp. I don’t think a cleaning service has been there the whole summer.

Cozy and wonderful

My family was very pleased with our stay. The proximity to the downtown area made walking there an easy feat. The view was amazing. The distance from the beach required us to use our car to get there, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We would stay there again.

Marina Life

This was just perfect as an all around get away, worry free, pretend you own a yacht vacation! Right on the marina walkway, there were free concerts across the water at night, we were steps away from good restaurants, and we could have just lived on the porch watching the boats go by. Beautiful sunsets too. We took a sunset cruise that sets of from a dock steps away, and were able to drop our kayaks about 200 yrd away from the porch to explore the canal and bay. It's a three minute walk to the beach and a two minute walk to the shopping district of town, where there are parks and lovely public spaces. We were actually glad there was no tv!

Great getaway

Andrea was awesome to work with and the place was a perfect location and very well stocked! Apparently there was a mix up with cleaners so we didn't have a great example of cleanliness for our first visit. However, it was just the right size, and we still very much enjoyed our stay, and will go back again! Andrea is extremely accomodating and goes above and beyond!!

All we needed

It suited our needs well. Walking distance to the beach and a place to sleep. No table was a bit tricky with young people. But all and all convenient and simple. Good communication with owner.

Great Location / Not what you think…

Room had overwhelming musty smell; the larger bed mattress was so uncomfortable we left a day early from lack of sleep; thin ceilings bringing foot traffic from above constantly thru the night; garbage bins were locked (pics to prove it) had to take home my own refuse; Loved Lewes but not this place regardless of the price…hotel in Rehoboth was a several steps above this from previous visits

Perfect for us

It was a perfect place for just the two of us to unplug and relax. Really close to town with two places to eat within walking distance. Really close to two different boat ride options. We LOVED the canal. I would definitely recommend this rental to others. We thought the price was appropriate.

Great Location!

Wow! Did not know much about Lewes when I booked this Unit for my two sisters and I. It turned out to be spectacular! It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the town. The balcony had a great view and the area was very peaceful Wish we could have stayed longer!

Not Bad, But Less Than Ideal

We were happy with the general location as Lewes is a charming town abs ab easy drive to abs from Rehoboth. There were some issues with a second set of keys not being there or not working (which meant, at one point, we got kicked out trusting keys that were no good) but Andrea got back to us in a reasonable amount of time and we made it work. We tried to just not look up at the ceiling in parts and details like no tv, no towels, and no sheets made it feel a little overpriced, considering what you get (and that’s state of the back patio area + it’s stayed) but we made the most of it found it a decent place to cook in or walk to a nearby restaurant if two. On a scale of 0-5 with 5 bring fantastic, a 3.5 seems about right. I’d recommend lowering the price 25-35% per night but if it’s ever fully fixed up and the general courtesies are included it’d be well-priced at 85% what it's currenty listed at per night.
