Our home is spacious, nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for a great vacation on the lake.

The lake is perfect for water-skiing, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. It’s great place to escape, relax and have fun with friends and family.

The space
Two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, ideal for a four-person group. 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. There is a well-equipped open kitchen, with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven and a variety of cooking basics ideal for those who prefer preparing their own meals. The property offers free WiFi and Air Conditioning whilst on the roof of the building, there is a terrace with sun-loungers & tables for all guests to enjoy. Combining charming original details and modern amenities, perfect for relaxing at home after a day in the city or at the lake.

ABOUT LAKE COUNTY AND CLEARLAKE
Clear Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the State of California. Visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing, boating, and riding jet skis. Individuals can rent boats and personal watercraft from several local businesses. Clear Lake can be found in beautiful Lake County, approximately 120 minutes northwest of Sacramento and 120 minutes northeast of San Francisco. For fourteen consecutive years Lake County has had the cleanest air in all of California. Winters are mild here, generally 40s and 50s and Summer temperatures are usually in the 80s and 90s.

The lake itself is truly magnificent. It stretches nearly twenty miles in length and includes over 100 miles of shoreline. Considered a “warm water” lake, the bass fishing is unrivaled as witnessed by the many fishing tournaments held here annually. The record large mouth bass caught out of this lake weighed a whopping 17.52 pounds!

Clear Lake is a clean, healthy, nutrient rich lake which can produce algae blooms during periods of warm temperatures, particularly in mid-August.

Wine getaway in the hills.

This vacation was a last minute pivot as we were scheduled to be in Pollock Pines but had to change due to the Caldor Fire. We found this gem of a place and reservations went smoothly. While at the property, we spent much of our time on the deck. Watching sunrises with coffee and sunsets/stars with local wine. The view is spectacular! The variety of deck furniture was appreciated. From the deck you can spot a number of different birds and the neighborhood was home to deer and quail as well. Great neighborhood for walking. You can get a good cardio workout on some of the hills nearby. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean and the kitchen offered just enough utensils and cookware for us to make some very tasty dishes through the week. There are lots of great wineries to visit nearby and if you don't mind winding roads, I recommend a visit to the botanical gardens in Ft. Bragg and a walk through the redwoods. There is also an awesome Indian restaurant nearby and a friendly coffee shop that opens early for us early risers. The host, Raju, was quick to respond to messages.

Great View!!!

Clearly a great view. Saw a Bald Eagle for the first time along with many other eagles and birds. Sat out and could see the stars very well once it got dark. Clean place to stay, very comfortable. Great having a kitchen for cooking breakfast.
