Beautiful Bristol Home across from Blithwolde Mansion

Located in the historic coastal town of Bristol, RI, this large 4,500 square foot family home is perfect for a family vacation, a friends’ getaway or a wedding party. Conveniently located across from Blithewold Mansion and less than a 5 minute drive to historic downtown Bristol as well as Roger Williams University and Mount Hope Farm. It is close to Newport (20 minutes) and downtown Providence (30 minutes). The property consists of a Main House and a full in-law suite. The Main House has three bedrooms (K,Q,F) and two- and one-half bathrooms. The Master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub. There is plenty of space for entertaining including an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room w/ fireplace, a large living room w/ fireplace and a cozy TV den. The In-law suite has a full kitchen, two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king-sized Murphy Bed and an electronic stand-up desk with monitor for all your work from home requirements. Both kitchens are fully stocked for all your cooking and hosting needs and both sides have their own washer and dryer. The home is in an L shape that wraps around a beautiful outdoor oasis with a large in-ground pool and hot tub. Outside you will find a gas grill, a gas fire pit and multiple seating areas for lounging, cocktails and meals. There is a projector and screen that can be set up for outdoor movie nights or watching the game. All TV’s are connected via Wi-fi to access Hulu, Netflix, etc. Luxury linens and towels are provided.

This place was incredible. If you think the pictures look great, just wait until you see it in person. Every inch of this home was so thoughtfully designed. I could easily picture having a family holiday celebration here. The entire house was beautifully maintained and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need.A special shout out to Donna and Bill, who truly made our trip exceptional. When I first booked the house back in February, I mentioned that we were hosting a wedding at the mansion across the street and needed help finding venues for the rehearsal dinner and the welcome reception. They sent me a list of fantastic local options, and every recommendation was perfect.Donna and Bill are two of the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I have ever met. They made me and my family feel like part of theirs. I highly recommend this home and the wonderful experience of working with them.

This beautiful seaside home in a safe New England neighborhood offers a charming RI vibe. Ideal for families, wedding parties, or groups, it comfortably hosted our family reunion with 10 overnight guests and 18 visitors over a long weekend, ages 7 to 87, with plenty of space and quiet when needed. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated, featuring fully equipped kitchens, high-end appliances, and quality linens. The beds earned praise, including from a great-aunt with a hip replacement—all beds were plush and soundproofing kept noise to a minimum. The patio, pool, and hot tub provided endless fun and relaxation, while fast WiFi kept everyone connected. Hosts greeted us in person, provided welcome tips, and responded swiftly to questions, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The home was recently professionally cleaned, with fresh flowers adding a warm touch. When we left behind some sneakers, the host offered to send them back—exceeding our expectations. We’d love to return and highly recommend this lovely property. We felt like visiting friends' home and are already missing it!

Beautiful House - Great Communication - Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay in Bristol! We were there as a large family to celebrate my sister’s wedding. The house was the perfect place to all be together on that long weekend. The hosts were excellent and easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate! The pool was lovely and everything was as described. We would love to come back again!

I have never left a review for any vacation home I have ever stayed at; however this gem was just so perfect in so many ways for our wedding weekend that it would be an injustice to not share how special this home and its hosts are. The home is stocked with every household and travel item fathomable in its two kitchens, three dens, and truly private and incredibly comfortable 6 beds. The pool and grounds are maintained beautifully and provided us many professional photo opportunities for our wedding photographer The home readily accommodated our 10 bridesmaids and bride’s hair and make up appointments and lunch. If anyone is having a wedding at Blythewold, this home is across the street from the venue, making the rehearsal day an easy walk to save time, giving you more time to relax and walk the gardens in your free time. However, the most impressive part of this home is the people who own and live in it. They truly want their guest to feel at home and enjoy their community. They met us at the door when we arrived, showed us how to operate every amenity and were very gracious with our departure time, working outside in the yard while we packed up for our flights and reaching out to us to mail any left behind items. These hosts are icing on the cake of their warm, convenient and have everything home. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful Home that felt like Home

This was a 5 Star Weekend from the day we arrived. Donna and Bill welcomed us with Champagne, Flowers and Scones, as well as a personal tour of their home. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Donna and Bill warmly welcomed us to there house and walked us through. House is spacious with 5 (plus a 6th off the primary) bedrooms. Extremely clean and well appointed! We will stay here again when we return to Bristol.

What An Amazing Place!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning property for our son's wedding, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the location and the thoughtful details throughout the house. The spacious layout made it ideal for accommodating our family members, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The amenities were top-notch, from the luxurious bedrooms to the well-appointed kitchen. The outdoor space was a dream—perfect for gathering for conversation and cocktails, and relaxing under the stars at the end of the day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. We are so grateful that Donna and Bill opened their home and devoted so much time to showing us around and ensuring we were well acquainted with the property. AMAZING STAY!!

This house is EVERYTHING! Stocked & ready to host your family for a big event or just a relaxing getaway. We rented this house for our daughter's wedding at Mt Hope Farm & it was pure perfection. Donna & Bill are the kindest hosts & opened their home to us. The decor, landscaping & overall aesthetic of this home is stunning. My daughters wedding

If I could give this home more than 5 start, I would! We have rented many homes and this one far surpassed any other! We booked this home for my daughter’s wedding at Blithewold (right across the street), it could not have been any more convenient. The bridesmaids stayed with us the night before the wedding and got ready on the wedding day. There is so much room for everyone!!! The house is absolutely beautiful, very clean, smells amazing and has anything and everything you would ever need! Christian was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. The owners Bill and Donna met us at the house and showed us around, they were also very helpful with the couple of questions we had. I can promise you, if you book this house, you will not be disappointed! We cannot wait to go back!

Great Family Vacation Spot

This was a charming rental with two houses combined into one large family space. There were 2 kitchens, which was great for a large family. The house was impeccable, with lots of areas to hang out in groups or to sit quietly reading. The hosts were great, welcomed us to the property, gave us tips on the area, and Donna even brought us excellent blueberry muffins from the local farmer's market. They were a great pick-me-up after a long cross-country flight. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay in Bristol RI

We rented this incredible property for a family wedding in Bristol RI. The hosts were very responsive to our questions leading up to our stay often getting back to us immediately. They were commited to making our stay a success. This property is lovely. The home is beautiful...warm, welcoming and impeccably decorated. Everything we needed for 8 adults to get ready for a wedding was provided. The house also had several different areas where groups could hang out and catch up. The outside areas were beautifully landscaped and provided several spots to gather as well. Our stay in this property is now part of our wonderful wedding weekend memories!

Perfect for a family

The house was perfect for our family gathering. It was super helpful to have two kitchens and both were stocked with everything you need to cook. The owners were responsive and extremely nice! We had a great time and would consider renting the home again next summer.

Amazing home for Family Wedding Weekend

What a wonderful, beautiful home - so comfortable & spacious for a family wedding weekend or any family getaway! Donna met us at the house & made us feel so welcome. We were in town for a wedding at Mt Hope Farm just a short drive away. Our family group included our six year old twin grandsons who absolutely loved the pool & the jacuzzi was used constantly. Many thanks to our hosts for sharing their incredible home with us. We’d love to stay there again. Highly recommend this amazing home.

Blithewold wedding - don't think twice!

We stayed here for our daughter's Blithewold wedding. This was the most pleasant surprise of the wedding! Almost did not do it because it was just one more expense...as anyone hosting a wedding knows - thank heavens we rented this spot! It was fabulous. Photos don't do it justice. House so well stocked - had EVERYTHING you could even imagine needing. Location was wonderful. Everything was spotless. The bride and bridesmaids walked across the street for photos (unexpected bonus - no limo). Added bonus, everything you forget is a quick walk away and you don't need to bring "emergency" items to the venue. Tons of space to get ready, lots of bathrooms, mirrors, etc. Also, there is a separate suite area which was so nice that our bride/groom checked out of their local hotel and stayed with us our last night because the house was nicer. Owners were wonderful and accommodating. This was like borrowing a friend house rather than a short term rental. 11 out of 10.

Fantastic weekend in Bristol

This property was amazing and had everyone you need for a vacation! Between the check-in process, the communication, the amenities. This place was a dream, and I would highly recommend for those looking to have the best of both worlds, a pool at home and a drive to Newport/the beach!

Amazing stay in Bristol!

Our family had a fantastic stay in Bristol. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable. Donna met us to show us the property and explain how things work. We were able to utilize the spacious home and manicured garden and pool. There were even toys available for my young son. We were visiting the area to attend a wedding at Blithewold Mansion and we were the luckiest guests because the house couldnt have been closer to the venue. All we had to do was walk across the street. Accessing the historic portion of Bristol was also convenient. It was an approximately five minute drive.

We were married at Mt Hope Farm back in 2016 and have talked about moving back ever since. Now that we are here we love spending time on the water sailing and split our time between Bristol and Prudence Island.
