LOCATION
We are in Wears Valley - "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies."

You'd want to stay in this area if:

• You’d like to be IN the mountains, not just NEAR them.
• You'd like to FEEL like you’re in the middle of nowhere, without the inconveniences of BEING in the middle of nowhere.
• You’d like little traffic noise, less commercialization and congestion, and clear starry nights.
• You’d like to visit the national park and want to avoid the crowds at the Gatlinburg entrance.

** Although it is the “Valley,” many nearby cabins require that you drive up very steep and winding roads. Especially if you tend towards motion sickness (like me!!!), you should know that it can be BRUTAL (and often terrifying) to get up there, particularly in the dark or inclement weather. However, to access our place, you are only two short turns from the main artery (Wears Valley Road, Rt. 321) and it is FLAT.

PARKING
Private driveway has room for 4 vehicles. Depending upon size, a trailer may fit into the driveway, but there is also street parking in front of the home for the larger ones.
