We had an excellent stay at this inviting well-equipped cottage with a beautiful expansive view down the lake. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and paddle board, relaxing and fishing off the dock, and the easy walk in entry to the water from its small rocky beach. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and grilling and dining on the deck watching the hummingbirds and other birds zip around the large yard. The cottage is clean, welcoming, and comfortable with plenty of space on two levels. Great communicative host. Overall 10 out of 10.

My wife and I had an amazing stay! A great place to unwind and relax in the cottage or enjoy a walk on the lake and surrounding trails. We look forward to our return!

This place was absolutely amazing! The hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond! This was a little work and a lot of memory making trip with my oldest friend ( 52 years) and my partner. The 3 of us had a wonderful time! Thank you for such a beautiful space to refelct, refill, and renew!

Great stay, thank you Alison!

Beautiful views, calm and relaxing. Watch the boat come and go from the town launch or walk the short distance to grab ice cream.

Beautiful house on lake.

The home is beautiful, clean, well maintained and sits right on the lake. Inside, the property had cooking supplies (pans, pots, silverware, etc) and outside it had kayaks, life jackets, paddle boards and a great fire pit! Would definitely recommend staying here. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing lake home!

Perfect on-the-lake location, spotlessly clean, lots of extra perks including luxury towels/bedding, free use of kayaks/paddleboard, three-berry pie on arrival, friendly hosts, daily loon and eagle sitings. . . amazing family vacation!

Great Lake House!!

Awesome location and a beautiful property. The house was super clean and plenty of room for 6 adults. Plenty of supplies left for cooking and cleaning. The dock area was amazing. Also such a cool perk that there’s kayaks and a paddle board to use. Will definitely be back!

An amazing week

It was a fantastic stay. Property was great - clean, accessible, nice kitchen to cook in. Alison was an awesome host, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We did a handful of local ‘hikes’, bunch of cycling, too much ice cream, and endless hours in the lake. Will be an amazing memory for my kids to look back on.

Maine summer

The camp is located on a beautiful and quiet cove. The swimming and fishing were excellent. The camp has all the amenities to host multiple multigenerational family gatherings and between the farm stands and nearby markets shopping is convenient! Lovely and satisfying week

Great Vacation Stay

The Vacation home exceeded our expectations. It is a cozy. home with a beautiful view of the Lake. The home came fully equipped with everything we needed for our vacation. The owners live next door and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back.

This house was just what we needed to cap our summer. All 5 of us gasped when we pulled in and saw the view! Kayaking and smores...rinse, repeat. Only tiny downside was the busy street which cut down on taking walks, but left more lake time! The photos don't do justice to the cleanliness and spaciousness. We hope to retuen,next summer and rent a boat for the week. Thank you!

Fantastic Lakefront Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the Moon-Glo Cottage! We rent homes often for vacation, and this one was one of the best! The cottage is immaculate and stocked with everything needed for the week. And the location! The lake is essentially the front yard. We spent the week boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Thank you Alison and Todd for your hospitality! We hope to be back!

Our annual summer vacation

The Moon-Glo Cottage was wonderful! The cottage was charming, welcoming, clean and had all the essentials. The view of the lake was amazing and the sound of the loons was beautiful. We even had a family of loons to enjoy during our week at the lake. Our days were busy on the lake as we rented a boat and we could easily walk to the Wayne General Store where we purchased fresh bread and they had a very nice selection of beer and wine. A wonderful vacation on the lake!!.

5 Stars!

I cannot say enough about this lovely VRBO property and it's wonderful hosts! Alison and Todd were warm and welcoming from the moment I pulled into the driveway; they even left an assortment of local pastries to enjoy! I stayed at Moon Glo cottage while I searched for a Maine home to call my own and I'm happy to now include Alison and Todd as new friends. This is a wonderful place to stay while you explore all that the area has to offer. Thanks again to my wonderful hosts and new friends!

Everything was clean and in working order. Kitchen had plenty of tableware and utensils for cooking, with amenities like storage bags and wraps. Bedding and towels were high quality. Furniture was comfortable and nothing was worn out. With plenty of books and games, it felt more like a home than a rental. Lake views from the picture window were relaxing and engaging. Christmas decorations were a nice touch for the holiday. Caring and attentive hosts kept the porch and driveway cleared of snow quickly and efficiently. While they live next door, they respect guest privacy and did not at all detract from the experience. Highly recommend this property.

Great lake house!

We had a wonderful stay here - house was very clean and just like the photos; wonderful lake front with multiple places to sit and kayaks and a SUP; and lots of wildlife spotting! The hosts are very warm but give you plenty of privacy (they live next door) and check in and communication was easy. There were a number of great farm stands nearby and we took a few outings (for fried fish dinner at Fast Eddie's Drive In, beer at Bateau Brewing in Gardiner, and the August dog park). Wifi is excellent - my partner had to work during the week and had no trouble with speed or connection. Lovely place and we hope to return next summer!

Amazing experience at the Moon-Glo cottage! This "camp" was perfect for our family vacation! The cottage is right on the lake, with a wonderful private dock, kayaks, paddleboard! The water was amazingly warm, clear and a delight to play and swim in. We made use of the fire-pit, the hammock, the grill and the deck and enjoyed our dinners outside with an amazing view. While the cottage is small, having the lower level for our kids to sleep and hang-out in was wonderful. Lastly, we could not have asked for more from the hosts - Alison texted that the house would be ready early, we were greeted with a fresh baked pie, and we enjoyed meeting them and their wonderful dog! We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful stay! My husband and I stayed with our 2 young adult kids. The house was clean, well stocked and provided ample space for us. The outside area is complete with fire pit and hammock and the deck and yard are perfectly shaded for those hot days. The hummingbirds were so fun to watch! Access to the kayaks and paddleboard made our travel so much easier! The town is small quaint and quiet with easy access to the coast or up to the rangley area. Cobbie’s had great subs and the small town bakery was delicious. The lake was so quiet ALL week! It was glorious! If you’re looking for a Sebago Lake place this is not it. Lots of local farms, bakeries etc. Thank you Alison for your attention to details. We had a wonderful week.
