Conveniently located on the first floor, unit 127 features a large northwest-facing lanai with panoramic views of the ocean and downtown Kona and is perfectly positioned to shelter the interior from the afternoon sun. The corner location offers a bonus of several extra windows, allowing almost continual breezes which keep the interior cool and inviting even on warm summer days. The kitchen has been beautifully updated with custom bamboo cabinetry, stainless appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast bar, under-cabinet lighting. The kitchen opens to the spacious living room and offers ocean views, while the living room and master bedroom open to the private covered lanai.

The Master bedroom is located just off the living room, where Shoji screens allow privacy if desired, or open to create a more spacious living area. Cal King Bed in Master Bedroom. There is an adjoining bathroom with a large walk-in shower and sink w/ quartz-topped counter. The second bedroom sits towards the front of the unit, with a second bathroom close by. Queen Sized Bed in the Guest Bedroom. This bathroom has also been upgraded with a luxurious walk-in shower and quartz countertops. An inside laundry area w/ stacked washer and dryer sits just inside the front entrance. Additional upgrades include newly tiled floors, new windows & screens and new paneled doors throughout. This truly is a gorgeous condo!

Great stay!

The condominium was as represented and in a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean from the Lanai. We had a minor problem with the AC but the property management team was quick to resolve the problem. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great pool. Great Lanae

This is a well run condo association. The common areas are well maintained. Assigned parking spaces assured us proximity to our rental. Best pool of my many rentals. Large, warm, clean. Lots of sitting area and chairs and lending library surrounding pool. The large lanae/belcony views the neighboring pool area and ocean. Good for whale watching. It was shaded all day long in January, so stays cool. All appliances worked well. There were many dishes and cookwear to choose from. The sunsets were wonderful.

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time in Kona. This rental had everything we needed for our trip. We enjoyed watching the sunset while eating dinner on the lanai and the pool wasgreat temperature for the kids!

Great location, awesome view

We really enjoyed the full 2BD 2BA. The outdoor furniture is great for eating and playing games. We liked having such a comfortable outdoor space to spend time. After talking to locals, I was able to find a safe entry for snorkeling, but was advised and I agree this is not a spot for beginners. Lots of fish and fun formations. Would definitely stay here again!

Deceptive Listing

The good: Very clean, good supply of essentials, responsive property manager, The complaint: While the listing heading lists air conditioning, there is an extra $25 per day charge to use it. There may be disclosure at some point while getting into the rental agreement, a person may not notice it. The layout of the apartment almost requires A/C. There is minimal flow through ventilation possible as opening the jalousies is not possible. The second bedroom is a dead air room.

Great rental, very well stocked. Not directly in front of the beach, but on this island there really aren't many beaches. We could still sleep to the sound of the pacific ocean 24/7 and the sounds of nature were everywhere! We had a momentary issue opening the lockbox, but we contacted the mgmt team and they responded immediately and were able to resolve our issue. I highly recommend this property.

Little home away from home

We really enjoyed the location and amenities of this condo. Great view of the ocean with wonderful breezes each day. A much large patio than a hotel where we could enjoy breakfast each morning. The pool had lots of loungers and trees when you needed shade as well as a library to borrow a book. There is a great viewing area for the sunsets each night. A bit of a walk to the restaurants and bars but it helped burn off the delicious meals. The front room is very bright so best for morning people. We would definitely rent again.

A few little things; dryer had an issue with lent build up one of the liana chairs broke sent my wife and her coffee falling and flying. Really not a big deal. Take binoculars as there are none there.

Absolutely lovely condo - well equipped in terms of kitchen and beach towels/umbrella/chairs/boogie boards - nice to have washer/dryer too. Somewhat obstructed view of ocean but lovely to hear the waves all night long .. nice lanai. Also the primary bedroom faced the ocean view but also patio lighting of the adjacent condo complex which left their lights on all night long. Maybe a request could be made to them to turn off lights at some time?

Great location!

This was a beautiful space, conveniently located to the center of town. We are neat freaks, so the ants (we were on the ground floor) were a bit annoying. Also, there are no basic cooking spices or oils provided. The instructions to check in- to download the app were provided when we didn’t have internet, so arrival and figuring out how to get the key was a little difficult while traveling. The patio furniture smelled like somebody had smoked there, and the neighbors smoking on the patio was bothersome at times.

The condo was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint was not having an early check-in option. One person in our party had to stay in the hospital and had just been released the day before, so we extended our stay and moved here. The condo had been empty the day before and we would have happily paid extra to get in, but they said no. Other than that it was perfect.

I want to LIVE here in this unit!

The condo was so well appointed with everything and more that would be needed. The decor was beautiful and homey, as if you lived there. The view of the waves and sunsets was astounding. There are only 2 steps up to the door and access was easy. Beds were comfy and the entire condo was clean. Sleeping in the master with the windows open to hear the waves was divine. Parking is ample for our huge car. It was fun each evening to join the community at the end of the parking lot for sunset views that could also be seen from our private lanai. Now, my sister is considering buying a one-bedroom unit to live in as it was such a wonderful experience.

Great home base in Kona

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the central location of this vacation rental on the Kona side of the Big island. We liked having restaurants available to the north, but most of our favorite beaches and activities were to the south. We cooked from the apartment a lot, so we only went into town to eat for dinner once. But we did love the Hawaiian shave ice at Gecko Girls so much we went back for seconds. We loved the sounds of crashing waves when the windows were open. We swam in the pool and found the temperature just right and the loungers were comfy. We used the boogie boards and bag chairs provided in the unit. It was nice to have a reserved parking spot for the unit, so we didn’t have to hunt for a new spot every time we came back. We would stay here again if we came back to the big island.

Good location, nice unit

Overall this was a positive experience. We did not need to contact management for any reason. The view was not the best compared to an ocean front unit, but it is a very good partial ocean view at the best value we could find. The unit was very comfortable for 2 adults and one kid. A few minor annoyances were that the windows were difficult to open because the screens are placed on the inside, blocking the window controls. There are no outlets or charging locations near the master bed. A simple alarm clock with usb powered outlet would be a good addition. The fixed shower wall doesn't do a good job of keeping water in the shower, so the bathroom floor tends to get soaked with every shower. Overall these minor annoyances were not enough to detract from the great location, cleanliness of the unit, and good views.

Nice, clean direct ocean view

This 2BR 2 BA condo was clean with well-equipped kitchen, comfortable king master bed, and nice ocean view from generously sized lanai with table and 4 chairs for eating and 2 additional chairs for lounging. Unit faces northwest so you cant see sunset from unit, but complex has benches out front of unit at oceanside, and the pool and, on separate terrace, a BBQ area, both have sunset view i think. Complex is well-maintained, friendly resident manager, and evenings were peaceful so we slept well. There is a mix of perm residents, long-stay owners, and vacationers it appears, so things are kept up well and no rowdies while we were here. Management company Knutson was great to work with and a big shout-out to Leah for helping us with a few things. In spite of the rain for few days from the Kona Low storms, we had a great time. Only one day we couldnt swim in the ocean. Hey, "its a warm rain!" We'll be back, diving is too good here!
