Kona Makai är ett vackert havsfrontskomplex med vackert bevarade trädgårdar precis vid havet med delfin, valskådning. Mycket tyst komplex med privat tennisbana, gratis parkering, gratis WIFI. Bra poolområde vid havet med spa, bordtennis, fullt utrustat gym och grill. På Iron Man Triathalon väg. Bottenvåningen enhet för enkel åtkomst - förhöjd Lanai för utsikt. Bldg 5 är borta från poolen och trafikbuller, nord / syd inför för mörk svalare morgon sovrum, indirekt solljus i vardagsrummet. Tystbetongbyggnad överför inte ljud från andra enheter. Bra läge, enkel åtkomst och nära till stan och stränderna.
2018 Uppdaterad, ny diskmaskin, ny tvättmaskin, nytt kylskåp, ny mikrovågsugn, smart HDTV, AC-enheter i vardagsrum och sovrum. Ny ninja smoothie och dryck maker och matberedare. Välfylld med återfyllda möbler, handdukar, sängkläder, köksartiklar, iskista, snorklar, strandartiklar.

Klinkergolv, fläktar och AC hålla det svalt. Hårtork, strykjärn och strykbräda finns.
Två uteplatser, en med havsutsikt tillåta handel vind att flöda igenom kylare, trevlig utanför sammanträde.

Vackra snorkling rev rätt på fastigheten med tillgång (utom i hög surfa). Titta delfiner, solnedgångar och valar från fastigheten.

Mycket bekväm ~ 1 mil promenad eller 2 minuters bilresa till stan och välkända restauranger som Bubba Gumps. På bussen / vagn rutt. Fem minuter från den berömda snorkling strand med havet väggen, livräddare och havssköldpaddor. Njut av shopping i stan och den öppna marknaden.

Volcano National Park är en stor dag resa. Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Park ligger bara 30 minuter och bästa snorkling vid två steg en kort promenad utanför parken.

Wonderful trip!

We had a great time staying at Kona Makai. It was a perfect complex for our multi family vacation! This condo was clean and had all the necessities we needed to dine in when we wanted to. Would definitely stay again!

Home Away From Home

This comfortable, conveniently located condo is your ideal place to stay when in Kona. It had everything you needed to make your own meals if you wished. It’s really close to Kona if you wanted to go out. The pool was a perfect size with lots of lounge chairs. The unit had plenty of air flow to keep cool and a brand new A/C unit was replaced in the bedroom. We really appreciated the quick action from owner Janet to get that done as soon as we alerted her that it wasn't working. Great communication for checking in and to address any concerns we had. We will definitely be returning!

Nice place right on the ocean

The condo is in a great location for exploring both north and south. Clean, fully stocked kitchen, nice pool area with bbq grills by the ocean. We were able to watch whales and dolphins from the lawn chairs. There was a bunch of beach gear, but wouldn’t count on the snorkeling equipment (guests had obviously not taken care of it). There were a bunch of tennis rackets and balls too. The complex is very quiet. We had a great stay!

Great! Very clean. Comfy bed!

The complex is in great location. The pool area has great view for sunset. The ocean view is partial from the balcony. You can't see it from inside. Unit has beach stuff for you to use! I would have liked tv in bedroom bc I am one of those who falls aleep to tv..but no complaints.

Anniversary Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kona Makai unit. The property is very nicely maintained, and full of beautiful lush gardens. It backs onto the shore & listening to the waves was very relaxing. The unit was very clean and very well stocked. You have everything you need there to prepare your own meals including lawn chairs, The lanai is shaded & we enjoyed sitting out there having our breakfast most mornings. The location is good & is only about 1.5 miles from the center of Kona. It was an ideal location for exploring the Big Island.We would certainly recommend this vacation rental

Excellent Place for a Getaway

This is my 4th trip to Kona Makai, and the 4th different condo I’ve stayed in. Each has been clean, well cared for, and had the view as advertised. The grounds at magnificent, with a fabulous tropical garden. The pool is delightful, and the patio area is excellent. Lounge chairs for relaxing, tables and chairs for dining or socializing, and 5 grills for use by guests!

Perfect location for sunset and walk into town

We have really enjoyed our stay. There is more than enough space for 2. It was very clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We love watching. The sunset right on the water and walking into town in the am. The location is very convenient. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful Sunsets!

Beautiful sunsets! Lush gardens. Lot's to do nearby but lovely to just sit by the ocean and watch the water. Nice pool area! I forgot something after we left. I reached out to our contact and she was quick to get back to me. They retrieved my item and were very helpful in getting it back to me. Much appreciated for the extra effort on their parts! Would definitely stay again!

Never a bad day in Hawaii

The BBQ and pool area are amazing. Our best meal was a steak dinner watching the sunset. Beautiful gardens.

The most perfect Kona vacation base!

We are so lucky to have been able to book this cute yet spacious apartment space on the Kona side. Check in was a breeze (tons of parking available) and the owner was fast at replying to any questions that I had. From the theme of the decor to the endless supply of utensils and water sport/beach supplies, we could tell that a lot of love and effort has been put into the place. Super close to the downtown Kona area. The sunset views from the shared space near the water were a cherry on top. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The condo was perfectly located for us between downtown and other sites to the south. It also was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom needs. The property was clean, nice staff, and beautiful views of the ocean.

Excellent stay

Property met expectations as described The remodeling was nice and the room was very clean. Washer and dryer a plus Most cooking appliances we needed were available, maybe add a rice cooker. The complex is nice, we took advantage of the pool and bbq grill and watching the view of the sunset was great.

Don't usually do reviews

Great condo to spend your days. Everything you need is supplied and more. Guess cleaning workers leave usable supplies, so check fridge, freezer, and cabinets before shopping. Lots of coffee was available. Also useful beach and snorkeling supplies, (you will want to rent beach chairs). Two air conditioning units, ceiling fans, comfortable bed, nice Lanai on interior side of complex. Very nice pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ's. No ocean entry at complex, and everything other than walkers in exercise room is severely rusted. Manager/owner very nice and helpful.

Very nice unit at great location

This unit was really nice. It was at a central location to the events we planned, both north and south of Kona. Unit was very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would stay here again if/when visiting Kona again.

Family trip

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful location. It was right in the middle of all the fun activities we had planned. Everyone else in the complex were very friendly as well. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Retired and enjoying freedom to travel. Love staying at Kona also and kids grew up snorkeling and swimming here.

After doing all the islands, Kona has the best weather. Not much wind and rain. Plus it still has a small town atmosphere. I have enjoyed the Kona Makai since it was new, coming with my parents. I bought and have maintained a vacation unit since 1998. I enjoy coming regularly to ensure maintenance, updates and replenishing is done.

Bbq right on the ocean for dinner sunsets Build g 5 is perfect for unloading groceries right in front, no stairwell, away from pool common area noise, close to parking, just few steps to pool. It has two lanais unlike the older building 1,2 and 6. It’s not facing parking by tennis courts and alii road noise like building 4. Nice view to ocean from lanai.
