Nyligen renoverade 3 sovrum 2 badrum badstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare och fullt utrustat kök. Det stora sovrummet har ett eget sovrum. Rostfria vitvaror i köket och arbetsspisen i vardagsrummet. Ett däck på baksidan av stugan har utsikt över ett underbart damm samt en stor och privat trädgård.

Denna 2 tunnland stora fastighet ligger på privata Round Pond Road med mindre än en minuts promenad till den vackra Tappens strand. Tappens Beach är en semi-privat strand med vackra sanddyner, många tidvattenbassänger och massor av klippor att klättra på.

Njut av magin och lugnet som Little Compton har att erbjuda. Lyssna på havet när det serenaderar dig att sova. Ät frukost på Commons i centrum av Little Compton. Tillbringa dagen med att läsa, simma eller fiska. Se solnedgången när du äter middag på bakdäck.

Idyllic spot in Little Compton

What a wonderful spot for a vacation. The house itself was bright and airy with a very private country feel. Although it had no ocean view, the beach was less than a minute’s walk away, and the ocean sounds lulled us to sleep each night. The outdoor shower was a major plus, and the back deck was a great place to relax in the evening after a day at the beach. The deck furniture was very nice but did need cushions. Though some of the indoor furnishings could use an upgrade, we understand that it is a beach house! All in all we loved our stay and are hoping to return next year.

Location, location, location

We loved the yard and our dogs had a good time running around on the 2 acres. We enjoyed sitting on the new deck This is an old cottage that has been partially updated My understanding is that more upgrades are coming. Proximity to Tappen Beach is awesome. A beautiful beach.

Great location for family beach vacation

We stayed at this Tappan's beach house and had a great week! They had extra beach chairs, sand pails, boogie boards - everything our kids needed to take full advantage of the beach just a few steps away. The house fit our needs - it had three separate bedrooms, a dining room, a nice kitchen and an outside deck with a charcoal bbq. The kids couldnt decide where to play - the expansive back yard field or in the front yard which was just as big. Host was responsive and had helpful suggestions. Wifi was great and worked better than most rentals we've stayed at.

Go elsewhere! Total rip-off

The cottage is neglected and has had no upkeep to make it clean, welcoming and special. As soon as we arrived, we were shocked to see the cottage’s current condition did not reflect the photos from the ad. The curtains had mildew, the blades on the fans were black from dirt, the floors and counters were covered in mouse poop, bugs were on the beds and a dried out frog was laying on the floor in the futon bedroom. The owner has very poor interpersonal skills and it didn’t take long to realize that he is only interested in taking your money and not addressing the poor conditions of the rental. His answer to everything is “it’s never been a problem.” The door in the futon room was literally missing the bottom half and we had to try to compensate its missing half by taping garbage bags over that half of the door and putting rocks over the base of the gap to prevent animals from entering the cottage. The bathrooms were moldy, dirty, leaking and had rusty baseboards. If your planning on doing your laundry, good luck! The rusty washer and dryer are located in a dilapidated disgusting shed and randomly work and when asked why it wasn’t operating properly, the owner told us to play with the knobs to get them to work. The outside grill is caked with burnt food and grease and has probably never been cleaned in 20 years-such a let down when you’re looking forward to grilling outside on a summer evening. Absolutely nothing has been done to maintain the cottage and outdoor structures to make them charming and polished. We also expected to have Wi-Fi as advertised to work from home and watch television, but it didn’t work. We got a lot of excuses from the owner and finally after a week of hounding him, the cable company came out to fix it. For all the money we paid- the level of expected standards was beyond sub par. Rustic is one thing, but a dump is another.

Best Place We Have Rented in LC

We have rented in LC numerous times, this property is fantastic. It is very private with a large amount of outdoor space, overlooking Long Pond and right off Tappens. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family. Host is very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Peaceful and serene

This is our second year at this home. The location is a short walk to a beautiful and quiet beach. The deck overlooks a Large, well maintained Yard overlooking a pond. Beautiful sunsets and wildlife. Great for walks and swimming! A great spot!

Best location and setting

The house is charming and the setting can’t be beat. Well-provisioned house with lots of cooking equipment, plates, utensils, sheets, towels and blankets. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great visit. If you go during July/August, you may want to bring a few extra fans.

peaceful, private getaway

The location and grounds were wonderful. It is a beautifully peaceful and quiet spot close to the beach and with many of the simple comforts one wants at a beach house. The owner was very responsive and courteous and we hope to return again!

The house was perfect, ex...

The house was perfect, exactly as advertised. Although the week we spent was rainy, Little Compton is New England at it's summer finest. The beach is beautiful, the lawn brimming with bunnies and a lone fox. Will most certainly go again.
