Unit A210 is located on the south side of the complex, providing ample shade to the Lanai and allowing for a cool and calm breeze to come in off the ocean. Lanai space offers guests or owners seasonal sunset viewing & beautiful ocean views.
The property boasts Central Air Conditioning, Granite Countertops, High end Appliances, Top of the line cabinetry, a Fully Remodeled Bathroom with His and Her's sinks, and a LARGE WALK IN SHOWER!

Casa De Emdeko also has one of the few oceanfront pools where you can swim and soak up the warm Hawaiian sun while watching the whales or dolphins play, depending on the season you visit. Swaying Palm Trees on our private sandy sunning area at the oceans edge offers glorious sunsets with a special sense of serenity. The popular Cabana, BBQ's, and Lanai tables are perfect for dining gatherings with friends and making new friends from around the world.

*Casa will be replacing the chiller the week of 9/23/24 - 9/27/24.
Unfortunately, there will be no air conditioning at the residential or commercial buildings for five days because the chiller system will be turned off for repairs.*

Exceeding my expectations! Beautifully remodeled and the shower is amazing! It really is like a spa massage all in a shower! Private beach and saltwater pool on the ocean is mesmerizing with the ocean waves crashing in. Sunsets are great from here as well! Well equipped to make your stay very comfortable. Comfy bed. Gated community and very quiet. Our last night we had rainbow on one side of us and sunset on the other. We found a quiet little spot around the corner from the pool that was perfect. Celebrated the end of our 4@ year anniversary trip here.

Honeymoon Vacation

The property was fabulous! We tended to stay out and do all we could on the Big Island, but when we came back we had a relaxing property waiting for us. The other residents were very nice as well. We did utilize both pools and the grills as well, which were all positive experiences!

You can see and hear the ocean from the lanai. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans, plates and utensils when we ate in. Management responded quickly with any questions. WIll definitely look to stay here again.

Just a great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental has everything you need for a nice stay. The location is good and right in front of a bus stop but you probably need a car. The Shower was amazing and bed was decent. There is a view of the water isn't direct but still nice. Was able to jump into the pool and use the bbq. The kitchen is well stocked to make a few meals. All in all a top end stay I wouldn't say luxurious but really comfortable for a couple.

Beautiful Condo in a fantastic property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa De Emdeko is our favorite property on the island of Hawaii, and condo 210 is FANTASTIC. We have stayed in other condos at Case De Emdeko but none as beautifully upgraded as condo 210. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to make excellent meals, it was beautifully refurbished. The bathroom, living room, and lanai was well appointed and upgraded. While the view of the ocean is not as vast from condo 210, as other condos it's still fantastic. The only recommendation I would make is to add an umbrella and chairs for beach adventures. The snorkel gear was a nice touch, though not something we needed. Overall I would stay at condo 210 again without hesitation. The condo and property were clean and bright, the fragrances used in the condo were lovely. The ac was most welcomed after warm days. Thank you for a lovely stay

Great Home Base for a Big Island Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When planning our trip to Kona, we chose Casa De Emdeko based on the photos and description. Both represent the condo and property truely. For a family of three, this condo was perfect and felt like home away from home. We enjoyed the spacious lanai to eat breakfast and relax. Everything was clean ready for us upon check in. Knutson & Associates Property Management were readily available via text or call to help out with any questions, needs, or concerns. The condo is close to downtown Kona and right on the ocean. Most of the Big Island has lava/shoreline, and Casa De Emdeko is on such a shoreline. But they have created a nice sandy beach under palm trees to relax at, and an awesome saltwater pool right along the shoreline to swim in. If the ocean has large enough swells, waves can crash into the edge of the pool which is fun! There is a sandy beach 3 miles south of Casa de Emdeko that is great for boogie boarding and diving under waves before they crash on shore (Magic Sands Beach). Great snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park is just a few minutes further down the road (Ali'I Dr.). To the north are great sandy beachs about a 30- 60 minute drive in the Kohala resort areas. I would definitely recommend staying here as a home base for checking out all the Big Island has to offer or as a place to just stay local near Kona and relax. Oh,and the manta ray night snorkel, Pu'uhonua o Honaunau NHP, and Volcanos NP are must see while on the Big Island. If you have little ones and want a calm beach try 'A'opio Beach (accessed via a short trail from Honokohau Harbor).

Can I give more than 5 stars??!!

This place is perfect. Breakfast on the balcony every morning. Great ocean sounds and bird sounds. That’s all you hear. The neighbors are very quiet and the design of property blocks out road noise. Not sure which part was my favorite: fans in EVERY room, the kitchen (with everything you need), the recliner for watching tv (which you probably won’t even do bc of the amazing location), the shower (OMG I LOVE), the balcony, or the pools (the ocean one was my favorite), or the beautiful sunset every night. The bed was good (my husband liked but I prefer a very very soft bed, so this one was normal bed for him), we slept good every night. I left 2 clips to clip the curtains closed so no light gets in, and we bought and left a washable coffee filter so no need to buy filters. Literally this place was beyond what I expected. I planned too much to do and would have stayed in the pool all day. If you have an afternoon flight I would request a late checkout just to use the pool longer (pool house has showers) and for the gated parking. My suggestion is to go south to the KTA for groceries (all others were pricey), and eat at least once at Sunset Kai Lanai (at sunset). The host was very responsive (checked on us before, and during check in just to see if we needed anything). If we ever come back to Hawaii, we will return to this island and this location. I only hope we are able to come back (and would definitely spend an entire day at the pool). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
