Mitsue's Cottage is bright and open, with a cute front porch and spacious back deck. The house features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and a utility room. The relaxing sound of the creek and nearby waterfalls is a special feature, and its proximity to both Marina at Rowena and Grider Hill Dock make it a great choice for a Lake Cumberland vacation.

Dec fishing trip

House was great better than expected. Very clean had everything we needed for 3 sr. Fishermen an room to park boat. Owner even supplied extension cord to charge trolling batteries Close to rowena Marina. 3 full size beds that were comfortable. Hope to stay again for future trips.

Amazing Place

My family spent two nights at this home and couldn't have been happier with our stay. I chose this home because of its proximity to Rowena Marina, and it was very convenient. The home itself was amazing. The furnishings were top notch, and the little touches throughout from the bottled waters in the refrigerator to the Dove chocolates made it feel like home. The backyard amenities were also great. Our kids loved the stream in the woods along with the waterfall. Also, Tammy was very responsive to any question we had. I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd highly recommend this place to everyone.

Awesome

Tammy, this was a wonderful stay. My son and I were working at a local business all week....so we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the lake or the walk to the waterfall. You thought of everything and then some! We visit Albany 2x a year and will schedule our visits around the availability of the Rowena Cottage.....Thank you! Beautiful house, accommodating hosts.

My family and I traveled to Albany to see where my side of our family was from. This property adds to the charm we discovered there. Truly you must see. We plan to return in the spring to enjoy the waterfalls, campfires, BBQs, claw foot tub baths, the wonderful scenery and of course, cornhole. This home was immaculate, had a well stocked kitchen, cozy beds, and many games. There was so much to do we never explored downtown Albany. See you next spring Mr. & Mrs. Brown and thank you for the basketball net. Our youngest was very pleased.

The Best home away from home

The page doesn't do it justice. It is beautiful, clean,has so much space, outdoor space, hammocks, fire pit, and everything you need to stay. The decor is amazing. And there is a waterfall just a short walk down the crick. Tammy was amazing at keeping contact and checking in was a breeze. No paperwork, Nothing just the booking and payment. Tammy made it effortless. She has everything you need to make your own meals. Nice meals at that. We only went out to eat once and it saved us a load of money.

Stayed at this property several times and it’s always clean and well stocked with everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. Close to Rowena Marina for lake access and boat ramp. Love all the outdoor seating and fire pit and front porch for morning coffee. The waterfall on the property is beautiful. Great place to stay and one of my favorite VRBO properties.

Great stay

The host was great! Had storms while we were there and she offered us the basement in case of emergency and contacted us as soon as the power went out with updates and next steps! Would recommend this property to anyone!

Awesome!

The absolute best stay. Loved it. Clean, comfortable & beautiful. I might only say one negative thing. As an older person (78), I had a little problem with front steps. No handrail. I had to step in the gravel to hold on to concrete post for leverage. Otherwise, excellent!

Perfect peaceful getaway

Gorgeous property. Loved the creek & waterfall, the back yard set up with fire pit & hammocks. The house was spotless; had everything we needed. Close to Cumberland Lake. Beautiful scenery.

This is our second time staying here this Summer. The house is very clean, has everything you need and the outdoor area and waterfall are a nice bonus. Close to Marina Rowena where we always rent a temporary dock for our ski boat. We had a lovely stay and will be back next year!

Wonderful stay

This is the best property we have stayed at around lake Cumberland. I love the huge yard, fire pit and waterfall on the property. There is lots of outdoor seating too. The inside was spotless and accommodated 5 adults easily. It is also well stocked with everything one needs . We docked our boat at Rowena Marina which is a 15 min drive. The property manager responded to any requests in a very timely manner. Definitely recommend. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home and surroundings.

Short fishing getaway

The property was absolutely amazing! It was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Communication with the property owner was easy and even resulted in us checking out an extra spot to fish.
