Spacious yard with enough room for pets and kids to play around with a large porch with views of nature and a pond. Close to at least four beaches, fifteen minute drive to the closest beach. Sleeps (6) guests comfortably.
Quiet area 5 minutes from the Angel Oak tree, 10 miles from Kiawah Island featuring beaches and some of the best golf in SC including the famous PGA course at Kiawah Golf course. Folly Beach 12 miles away and downtown Charleston 10 miles away. Older home, but renovated in many areas..

Family Wedding

Inside was clean and it meet our needs for number of beds and provided a place to sleep as we weren’t there very much due to wedding. One of twin beds had something broken because kept pushing guest to edge. One of queen beds had sunken middle. Outside and surrounding area was junkie.

My Daughter Wedding

My family and I were very pleased, my daughter’s wedding was at The Island House, so the location was great. The home was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The property was well maintained and plenty of parking for everyone. All appliances were in great working order, all the beds were very comfortable. All supplies, if we needed to clean, were there for our use. Communication with property owner was prompt. I would highly recommend this property for any events you may have in the area. Thinking about reserving it again for the New Year. Thank you so much for everything!

Family trip to Charlestown

We took our children and grandchildren to Charleston for my nieces graduation and found this gem of a home to accommodate our crew! Easy checkin, spotless clean, kitchen and appliances very well stocked! Beds are very comfortable, nice back porch and quiet. Would definitely rent again!

Wedding stay

House was clean. Had to asked to have yard mowed because of my small dog. Outside property was so so. Deck full of tree debris I cleaned, yard full of glass everywhere, old beer can at burn pit from previous renters. But trees were beautiful. Dryer didn’t work and my wedding outfit had to hang dry outside. Wish they had screen doors to let air flow through house.

Perfect for us!

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed house. Location was perfect for us (visiting family that live on Johns Island). Main Road pretty congested around high school start times but we could work around that. Host responded quickly to an issue with the dryer not working. We enjoyed our visit!

Charleston Wedding on John's Island

Perfect spot for our small family of 6 adults. The house was clean, conveniently located and our host, Guillermo, always responded promptly to my questions. We would gladly rent from him again.

It was just what we wanted

My daughter was getting married about 15 minutes from this house. We had family with us that have trouble doing stairs, and this house had very little. We had six adults and a seven-year old, and we were very comfortable in there. We even had a few visitors and there was plenty of seating. Thank you! My only suggestion would be more hooks/bars for towels to hang.

Great place!

The house was very nicely updated and clean. The host was extremely responsive to all inquiries. It also had the most comfortable mattress . I will definitely stay here again for future horse shows since it is only 15 mins from the barn!

Property owner is very responsive and organized. Easy check-in, and welcoming setting inside. House was immaculate, all needs were there from crisp, clean bed linens, towels, shampoo, laundry detergent, all kitchen needs, etc. Location convenient to some quality local stores and great restaurants, quick trip to beach, 30 min to Charleston, perfect location for a day trip to any desired area of interest be it Kiaweh, Ravenel, Walterboro, James Island. Would absolutely stay again!

Johns Island

The house overall was okay. It’s definitely an older house and shows it’s age. It has poor HVAC circulation. Half the house was too hot and the other part was freezing. There were several soft spots in the floor throughout the house. There were exposed outlets with no covers and broken blinds. There was trash in the outside trash can left from the last people that we had to take care of. I will say the response time from the owner was very quick and they were very nice. I think it was falsely advertised, the pictures in the listing shows a nice house but doesn’t show or mention what was wrong with it. Definitely a disappointment to see all that when you pay alot of money to stay there.

Quiet Respite

The home is an older home, but comfortable. We arrived about 45 minutes early and the brother of the owner was there. We were graciously allowed to check in. The owner was easy to contact if we needed. We enjoyed our stay.
