We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely spotless, and the owner was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions. You truly couldn’t get any closer to the beach—the location was perfect! The deck was a huge highlight, with plenty of comfortable furniture and space for the whole family to relax and enjoy. The entire house was thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. An outstanding stay from start to finish and, without a doubt, one of the best spots in the village. We would absolutely stay here again!

We spent a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful cottage by the sea. Having a bedroom and full bath on the first floor was perfect for my 83-year-old mother and the upstairs bedroom with twin beds and full bath was great for my young adult daughter and me. Being just steps from the path to the beach was perfect and we loved being within walking distance of the Marketplace. Jean was quick to respond with any questions and the AC in both bedrooms and the family room was fabulous. We hope to make this an annual visit!

Just finished a picture perfect 2 weeks at 2 Cliffside. From the thoughtful updates and touches throughout the condo, to the spectacular patio with top of the line patio furniture, to the beach literally being 150 steps away, I cannot sing this condo's praises enough! Being able to make the quick (6 minute) walk to the Marketplace was handy, Maushop village is absolutely charming, check in, and checkout was a breeze and communication with the owners was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend staying here, it really feels like the Cape at it's best!

This location is amazing, close to the beach with views of the ocean from the large outdoor patio. The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. Jean is the best host - made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect!! Highly recommend this property for anyone considering a vacation in New Seabury.

This year’s rental was one of our favorite, if not the favorite. The proximity to the beach cannot be topped! The cottage was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with everything you need, and the owners are available, making sure you have what you need. The cottage location is an easy walk to Popponesset Marketplace for morning coffee and evening dinners and entertainment. However, morning coffee while relaxing on the patio is what summer is all about! I would highly recommend renting from Jean and Kathleen! Thank you for sharing your Maushop home with us.

Ideal location and beautiful community

We had a very nice stay at Jean’s home in Maushop Village. Our first time staying in the area and we loved it. The home is as advertised, small and quaint and SO close to a very elderly and young child friendly beach. Jean was a great host and very responsive.
