A secluded cabin surrounded by 21 acres of beautiful dense trees and the tranquil sounds of nature. Tucked away on a private road. Stay in and relax or go and enjoy all that this area has to offer. It is a haven for a couples getaway and provides the quietness needed to escape the demands of a busy life.
Just minutes away from Brow Park & downtown Mentone.
*Recent complete transformation to freshen up the space inside & out. ALL NEW furniture, WiFi, lighting, bedding, linens and accessories.,
The space
Inside, you’ll find a full, well equipped kitchen complete with a table for four and counter top seating. Gather together and unwind by the stone gas fireplace while you enjoy the large Smart TV in the living area. Outside you can enjoy the huge wrap around porch, comfy swinging bed, fire up the gas grill or the charcoal grill for a cookout and enjoy dinner under the stars at the outdoor table, cozy up around the large fire pit or just relax in the hot tub and watch for visiting wildlife in the surrounding forest.
Also feel free to take a stroll through the lush woods and relax by the creek that runs through our property.
***The home does have Satellite based internet and Dish TV. Pls keep in mind both can be affected by inclement weather, unfortunately Mentone is not known for their services when it comes to internet, cellular or satellite. AT&T is one of the only cellular providers that you will have consistent service on the mountain. So if you are ready to disconnect and unwind Mentone will definitely help you achieve that goal ;)

Perfect choice for our fall getaway!

We spent thanksgiving in the cabin and loved the peace of the area. The hot tub and fireplace were my family’s favorites. Nicci is an incredible host and we hope to return.

Beautiful secluded cabin

We loved this beautiful secluded cabin. It was perfect for our family spring break trip. The host was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was okay. We enjoyed hiking to the creek, soaking in the hot tub, playing games that were provided, and generally relaxing and enjoying nature.

Girls Trip!

We had a peaceful, wonderful stay!! Loved the large swing on the front porch. Was able to nap and watch the rain while cuddled under blankets. It was a relaxing time.

Girl's Trip-Cheaper Than Therapy

Five lifelong friends gathered to enjoy a wonderful weekend in this beautiful cabin! The property is so lovely and private, and peaceful! Every amenity we could hope for was provided, and we had a wonderful time.

Girls Birthday weekend

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my two granddaughters birthday. The cabin is very nice and had everything we needed. It was very private. The girls enjoyed the hot tub several times while we were there. Very close to anything you would want to do in Mentone.

Property and location were great- just a few minor issues. Dead gnats in upstairs bedroom, no trash bags for kitchen. But other than that, It was great. And host was prompt to answer questions

Perfect girls' weekend

This was the perfect property for a restful and rejuvenating girls' weekend. We had everything we needed. The cabin was incredibly clean and well appointed. The small town of Mentone was very cute, and we enjoyed our moderate hike down to DeSoto Falls. Mentone Market's chicken salad is a must. We can't wait to book this gorgeous cabin in the woods again, and pick up right where we left off laughing and relaxing on the porch swing.

Perfect title for the cabin - very nice and secluded, night time was very quiet and peaceful. Once in a while you will hear animal sounds, very cool. Fire pit was great with lighting. Need a little more hanging lights above the Propane cooker area. Plan on coming back..

Great time

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love the property and the cabin. Its so peaceful. The owners were so easy to communicate with and we would definitely recommend staying here. Just a few things that need some attention but overall great place!

Quick getaway!

We loved everything about our stay at Creek Wood Reserve! We played games, enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, went hiking, and did some shopping at some of the local stores. The cabin is beautiful and we loved having the complementary smores :) We will definitely be back.

Three birds getaway

We were in awe from the moment we pulled into the driveway. When we walked in the door our famous words were oh my goodness y’all look at this oh my goodness y’all look at that. Such a beautiful secluded cabin. Lots to do inside and outside. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Creekwood cabin

The house and property were beautiful! Very clean, very well stocked! Only have to bring food and clothes. They have almost any pot, utensil and cooking appliance you can think of. They even leave plenty of dishwasher tabs to run the dishwasher. Double stack washer/dryer. Rooms all decorated beautifully. Beds were all very comfortable. Sitting in the living room with our family felt as comfortable as hanging out in our own. And don’t let me forget to mention the hot tub we used daily after all of the hiking we did. Also took advantage of the huge swing on the front porch. I cannot say enough about this cabin and Nicci! Super friendly and available. 10 stars!

Very nice home

My husband and I spent four nights at Creek Wood Reserve. We enjoyed the quiet beauty of the surroundings and the comfort of your home. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We would rent it again if we have a chance to return to Mentone.

Family Vacation
