Adorable, completely renovated mobile home with a warm cottage feel located on a beautifully wooded and serene parcel. Giving it a feel of a secluded cabin, yet just a hop, skip, and jump from many amenities! Just 20min from both Delaware Turf and Sports at the Beach. Also a great location for visiting our beautiful Delaware Beaches and State Parks without the huge price tag!! Also great place for traveling nurses! You'll love the charming feel of the fresh air and country living. This lovely home offers 2 bedrooms ( 1queen bed, and1 double). Extra sleeping accommodations in the living room , an extra single air mattress, and a pack and play are available as well. Fully stocked kitchen, complete with a coffee bar, central heat/air, washer & dryer, wifi, nice wooded yard which is great for kids to play, and a spacious screened in porch! All the luxuries of home are at your fingertips!

Fantastic find!

The property is clean and has everything you need. We’ve stayed at other locations near the DE turf but this was the best by far the owner even baked cookies for us! We will definitely book here again.

Cottage was very clean and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked and the cookware and dishes were in excellent condition. We hope to stay there again.

Hostess with the mostess

Wava is an amazing host. She has thought of everything her guest will need. The house is decorated nicely and very cozy. She provides water bottles, coffee, and the kitchen has everything you need. I would definitely stay there again.

Great. Quiet and 45 min. from the beach. Henlopen State Park beach is a hidden gem with easy to find parking and great for kids. I would just say bring plastic cups if you have young kids because it's all glasses and mugs but it was a fully stocked kitchen and everything was easy to find.

Just like home

Beautiful place geared towards our comfort. Quiet. Firepit outside with plenty of wood & nice grill. Price was wonderful. Will definitely stay again!! Host was exceptional.

Great!

Everything was amazing. The host was very welcoming and had our house spectacular. Close to the beaches for us to visit those. The feel of the location was great. It felt like you were in the woods without being in the mountain. The extra amenities that the host had at her house was above anything that I’ve experienced in a VRBO house.

Great quiet place.

This was a very nice fully updated place in the woods that made it quiet and peaceful. It was well stocked and cozy. I highly recommend this place.

It was a lovely stay. They had cookies waiting for us when we walked in the door, water bottles in the fridge, and restaurant recommendations that ended up being delicious. It was clean and comfortable. Only downside was that the Wi-Fi did not work and neither did the TV. Poor internet service location, but we never reached out to the owners. I imagine they would have fixed it right away if we brought it up!

Great place! 30 mins. From wildlife areas & 60 from Rehobeth Bay. Clean, comfortable & a great set up! Coffee bar was so much appreciated along with screened porch & fire pit. The host's cookies are fabulous 💜😁

Relaxing!

The property was very clean. Kitchen was well-stocked for use. Free coffee, free water bottles in the refrigerator, yummy cookies! Screen porch was so relaxing. Quiet neighborhood. Close enough to the beaches to drive to for the day. Owner was easy to communicate with and friendly. Will definitely go there again!!

Such a sweet property with perfect cleanliness! We have stayed in many VRBOs and this one tops the charts for being clean, welcoming, and perfectly stocked! Try to get outside on the porch for dusk. The sunsets are beautiful and the fireflies add such a marvelous touch. We love it here! Thank you!

Wonderful Greenwood Gem!

Made a trip to Greenwood, Delaware area to attend our niece’s graduation party. Rather than stay at a hotel 30 minutes away, checked on VRBO to see if there was anything nearby. We found this gem - about 7 minutes away! Exceptionally clean, well-stocked with dishware & comfortable beds & chairs. It fit our needs perfectly! Nice screened in porch beneath a canopy of trees. So nice to eat breakfast out there listening to the birds and wind blowing through the trees. Would love to have used the fire pit, but just didn’t have time on this short weekend trip from Michigan.

Great Escape!

This was an awesome place. The saying of never judge a book by it's cover applies here. The yard and property are great. When you drive up it looks like a regular place. When you get inside it's spacious and inviting. The host had everything done nicely and even had cookies for us to enjoy, which we did for sure. Would highly recommend if you're looking for something different and quiet and yet not far from everything. When we're in the area again, it will be the first stop check for availability.

Wonderful property

It’s no wonder Wava is a Premier Host. She contacted me prior to checkin to make sure all was well and provided the code; and she was only a phone call/text away if needed. Adorable place to stay; property is just as depicted in the pictures. Very open, spacious inside with plenty of room to move about. Kitchen is beyond stocked; I was hard pressed to find anything that wasn’t there (with the exception of food -lol). The Coffee Station is fully loaded. Love the screened in porch and, although not depicted in pictures, the cozy fire pit area as well. Lots of tall, towering trees that add to the privacy you get; feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere yet just a stones throw away to the highway. And, of course, can’t forget the cookies; OMG, the cookies! What a welcome treat after a long plane/car ride. Wava’s place is like coming home. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wava was fantastic and responsive to all aspects of rental and check in/out. Simple 25 minute drive east on Route 16 to the coastal highway to enjoy all the beaches have to offer but then escape for night to a peaceful home set into the woods.

The home was very welcoming. It was very clean and we'll kept! We wanted to stay longer after just staying one night! There were extra mini soap bars, toothpaste bottles, and toothpaste. This helped one person from our party tremendously. It was a relaxing time

Hi - I am Wava, the manager of the Swartzentruber Cottage!
I was born and raised in the mid-west and met my husband at a Bible College in Ohio, got married and moved to Delaware! We bought the family farm and raised our family of 4 children (two daughters & twin sons) who are all married and have families of their own! I have always loved having guests in our home whether it was friends for a meal or out of town overnight guests! It has always been a dream of mine to run a VRBO where guests can have a place to stay and enjoy the quiet country living! I love being able to use our place to bless others and show hospitality to them!
