Denna Slaughter Beach Cozy Cottage ser fram emot att dela den vackra stranden med nya besökare. Fastigheten ligger mittemot allmän strandåtkomst så att dina fötter aldrig tröttnar på att gå till stranden. Stugan har Wi-Fi och kabel-TV. Att slappa eller läsa en bok på den visade uteplatsen är emellertid lika avslappnande. Stugan ligger på två tomter med en vacker utsikt över naturreservatet så att du har gott om utrymme för utomhusskötsel, kanin eller fågelskådning utöver din egen integritet. Det finns ett rymligt uteplats för solnedgångsmiddagar. Nya renoveringar inkluderar alla nya golv och takfläktar utöver en tanklös varmvattenberedare, luftkonditionering, en helt ny tvättmaskin och torktumlare och en utomhusdusch för extra bekvämlighet. Det tanklösa varmvattensystemet möjliggör oändliga mängder varmt vatten för alla gäster!

Stugan är fullt möblerad och nyrenoverad. Du hittar allt du behöver om du planerar att laga mat under din vistelse. Det finns en gasspis och ugn, diskmaskin och kaffebryggare. Det finns även en grill ute för din bekvämlighet.

Vi erbjuder gästerna möjlighet att använda våra sängkläder utan extra kostnad, men utomhusstrandhanddukar, solstolar och kylare måste tillhandahållas av gästerna.

Under din vistelse bör du förvänta dig att se hästsko krabbor, många fåglar och djurliv. Viken vid Slaughter Beach erbjuder gästerna en mer avkopplande tid att spela i vattnet. Vågorna är små och tidvattnet är anmärkningsvärt. När tidvattnet är högt hittar du båtar, simmar varv, fiskar direkt från stranden och kajak i timmar. Men när tidvattnet är lågt hittar du en öppen havsbotten som väntar på att upptäckas. Ta en promenad i viken och upptäcka vad som ligger under.

Slaughter Beach ligger norr om Rehobeth Beach och Lewes, Delaware. Tanger Outlets ligger i närheten och erbjuder cirka 130 varumärkesbutiker längs sträckan 3 mil av väg 1. Nära Tanger Outlets hittar du Midway Speedway Park, en spännande familjens attraktion. Den har 5 gokartbanor för alla skicklighetsnivåer utöver 18 hål minigolf.

Great house in a great location

Once again a great stay in this house in it's central location. It's had a few upgrades since we last stayed which has made the kitchen even better.

Great place by the water!

We stayed here while my son had a lacrosse tournament in Frederica. This place is in a great location and the cottage was very clean and sneakily spacious. The location is very nice and close to the beach. We would love to stay here again!

Peaceful relaxing vacation

Love the houses quaint vibe. The backyard is huge. Fully equipped kitchen, no lie. I loved the vacation here. Short walk to the beach. I wanted a change from hustle bustle and found it here!

Cozy, clean & bright

We were looking for a quiet place to relax and we found it here. The house was very cozy with well-equipped kitchen. The beach was just across the road for sunrise viewing and long walks. The sunset from the back porch was beautiful. We saw the neighborhood fox a couple of times. All this and it’s just a short drive to Milford's store’s & restaurants.

Great Cottage

My wife and I stayed in this great cottage for a week. It was exactly what we needed for our stay. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again if we’re ever in the area again.

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved staying in this perfect little cottage, literally right across from beach access. The location was perfect, and my son also loved the playground right down the street. The outside shower was an added bonus for sandy, wet feet and for our dog who loves swimming. We wanted quiet, safe and dog friendly and that's exactly what we got🙂

Beautiful Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful trip. The cottage and surrounding area was just as pictured. The place was clean, well stocked, and offered plenty of space, huge bonus for having sheets and towels so we didn't have to pack them. We were thrilled to be able to bring our two elderly dogs. The beach was clean and beautiful, buggy bear the cottage but that was expected.

Great Getaway

Needed a place for a few family members to stay during a Thanksgiving gathering. While the bedrooms were small, the cottage was clean and comfortable. The hostess and housekeeper were most accommodating. Definitely would recommend.

Slaughter Beach cottage

This cottage was the perfect home base for our family summer vacation. Close enough to Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen to make day trips, and in between the kids loved being able to cross the street to a beach full of treasures. The house was super clean and spacious inside with plenty of room to comfortably fit our group of six adults, two energetic toddlers and a dog.

Wonderful Home, Beautiful Location!

Wonderful home on the marsh side with beach access right out the front door. The home was comfortable and had every thing we needed for the week. Bedding and towels smelled and felt very clean. The beds were comfortable which I find rare in rentals. We enjoyed the screened in porch when it was warm enough to eat out there. Property manager and owner were very responsive and kind. We hope to stay again soon!

The house was fine and as described. There was a washer and dryer that I had not seen in the description which was nice. The beach was clean and not crowded even on Labor Day weekend. The water was very shallow so that you couldn’t swim

Fantastic

If you are looking around for a place to stay near the beach, stop and book this. The house is adorable - cuter than the pictures even show. The house was very clean. We brought meals to cook and they had every imaginable cooking pan, dish and cooking utensil. We played cards at the round table in the kitchen, walked across the street to the beach and had the most relaxing time. The home owner was very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

Years of enjoyment

Have been coming to Slaughter Beach for over 60 years. Love the peace and quiet. The house had everything we needed and was well kept. Was a little disappointed that the extra 2 sleeping accomadations were just sofas.{ It's hard for our 6' 5'' grandson to sleep there } The listing said there was a pull out bed. We really enjoyed our time there ! Caught lots of crabs ! Would definately rent there again !

Great Property, Great Location

We stayed here while visiting my family for Christmas, so we were only in the beach house to sleep. The property was spotless and spacious, and I always appreciate contactless check-ins. My family of 5, including 3 young adult children, had ample space to spread out. The location is perfect. Although it was December, we walked the beach each morning. It is literally across the street. The National Wildlife Refuge is less than a mile away. I saw snow geese in the pond there on my run. The host was very responsive. We had trouble with the wifi on Christmas Eve, and she had it fixed immediately. Thanks for a wonderful stay and wonderful memories.

Adorable family friendly cottage!

Our family of four, plus dog stayed at this great cottage and had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable...the owners have shown great attention to detail with what is in the home. Beds/bedrooms are comfy; there are many nooks to enjoy a book or cup of coffee in; the views are beautiful; there are games and books to grab and play, along with a telescope to star gaze; and the kitchen is stocked to allow for cooking. There is so much to do both on the island and off! My kids loved shell searching at low tide...so many conch shells! Check out Dupont Center at the end of the island too. It is an amazing nature center that is super kid friendly...we were allowed to hand feed their horseshoe crabs and turtles! It is a short drive to Rehobeth Beach which has tons of great family activities and wonderful dining options. Perfect place for a great family trip!

Spoiled vacation

Getting to the tranquil cottage was “interesting”, it’s on a natural reserve, with a beach full of dead horse crabs, and blood sucking flies as well as mosquitos. My wife was bitten and bloody, and had an allergic reaction. Being with a baby, we realized this was a bad idea. We didn’t feel secure in the house, windows exiting the bathroom had no curtains, the house was not cleaned, the floors were full of sand, black long human hairs and short white animal hairs were found. Our 1 year old granddaughter found different snacks by the books and in the couches, such as a peanut chewy nut bar and pretzel crackers. The pack and play was dusty and stained so we did not use it. The furniture was very old, the beds were spring beds and the beds shook constantly, with old blankets that had holes in them. There were no outside lights either and it was creepy to be outside after 9pm. The WiFi only works in the main area, not in the bedrooms and the AC is in the main room, therefore you have to sleep with the doors open, or the fan on in your room. The location and home reminded me of a scary movie. There was a very strict list of everything that needs to be done upon departing the location, such as vacuuming, and taking off bed sheets. We cleaned up after the people that stayed there and had to clean up after ourselves. If we knew the truth about the cottage we would Have never ever stayed here. All the good beaches are 30-40 minutes away from the cottage.
