A gem in Anacostia!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this property! Juan is such a gracious host and the property was perfect for what we needed! Loved the snacks and drinks that were there for us as well. Definitely a 5 star place!

Pleasant stay

Nice & clean space. The "snack station" was a nice touch. Juan was very informative and helpful. I did not care for the "smart" features of the apartment nor did I care for the neighborhood. There was a lot of police activity near by.The accommodations were as listed.

Modern basement smart apartment. Host professional and friendly. Snacks, including water,soda,chips and wine provided. Close to metro subway and major DC attractions. The surrounding area could be better .

Owners are very courteous and nice, the basement is well decorated and modern, better than many hotel rooms, and it even includes some free snacks and drinks, the kind of stuff you wish you could take in certain hotels but will cost you $5 to $10 each. I picked this place because of the great reviews and I found out I did the right thing. Highly recommended.

Best hosts

The extra amenities that were provided went above and beyond any other place, we have stayed in. The host was on vacation so we did not get to meet him but his assistant was very gracious and helpful. Overall our stay was fantastic. The neighborhood looked a little sketchy but the people seemed nice. Getting to the Metro was super easy and we used it to go into DC. We would stay here again and are very thankful for having such a great host.

Amazing stay and host

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a rental!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything was very clean, and there was more room than I had thought after looking at the pictures. But there were also lots of added amenities like snacks, a TV with streaming apps, a fully stocked kitchen, and a metro card. The host was also extremely welcoming and accommodating, offering suggestions for transportation, food and activities.

Great Getaway

Juan and his partner were the most marvelous hosts! From check in to our departure at the airport, and every moment in between, these hosts rocked! They made sure we had everything we needed: snacks, maps, water, and slippers! We can't say enough good things about them. The apartment was all we needed. We had plenty of supplies whether for the kitchen or bathroom. It was a fairly close walk to the metro station, and there's a starbucks down the road, too. We really enjoyed our time in DC, and our hosts made it even better with their knowledge and kindness. Thanks guys!

The unit was clean and quiet!! Owner was attentive and very willing to help, provide information and directions to local shopping, dining, parking, etc. I do have a recommendation that the bedroom window treatment be darkened because of the neighbor having exterior fence lighting right outside the window. I need total darkness for restful sleep and I know a lot of people are that way. It's a smart home so lights came on and off as you entered rooms,.which was helpful because you don't have to search for switches! Coffee pot and supplies provided, so many other snacks and drinks provided, even little slippers!! It was perfect! Will stay again if available. The government shut down was in effect so we didn't get to check out the museums, but will be going again!!

Cozy unit. Host very professional. Cabinet with wine n snacks was really cool. Some things could be tweaked
decaf coffee/tea, new bathroom rug, n maids shouldn’t hang it on the towel rack! Highly recommend visit to The Wharf for dining!

Weekend Fun Visit

Host is awesome! Very responsive. Great place to stay. Only concern was pillows were not very good. Great location for proximity to DC, neighborhood left a little too be desired. We would definitely stay there again. Snacks and drinks were very nice touch.

Great home away from home

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very polite Juan is amazing hosting you as a guest. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are already home. The Banger

Juan and his wife are amazing. They go the extra mile to try and make your stay a great one. The soap dispenser didn’t work in the bathroom and they had it fixed within hours. The location of the home is a 15 minute walk (.6 mile) to the nearest subway station. It rained one day so that wasn’t much fun. The unit is cute but sound travels. Overall a great stay because of great and responsive hosts.

Hosts go above and beyond to give you a good experience. All of the amenities you could need are provided, and it was very cozy and comfortable. I would not recommend walking in the area, but the location is a short ride into the city and was mostly quiet during my stay. Would recommend!
